There is an excellent restaurant located in the hotel. (I would recommend reserving a table in advance.)
It is possible to use the wellness part of the hotel without being a Guest of the hotel. But you also have to call and let them know before you arrive.

Getting Around
The main bus station of the city. All regional buses arrive here and leave from here. It takes about 15-20 minutes by walk to get to the apartment from here.

The train station. If you come by train, I recommend taking a local bus (they depart from opposite the stairs through which you leave the platform) to the city centre. You can buy tickets on the bus, but they are way less expensive if you go to the ticket office of the train station and buy them there. (Do not forget to validate the ticket when boarding the bus!)

Sightseeing
The old town with the mediaeval castle. You cannot spend your holiday in Veszprém without taking a look at the historic part of it. This part is the most fascinating of all. From Óváros Tér (Old Town Square), you can walk up the hill to the castle and look down at Betekints Völgy, which view is magnificent.

1 Óváros térThe old town with the mediaeval castle. You cannot spend your holiday in Veszprém without taking a look at the historic part of it. This part is the most fascinating of all. From Óváros Tér (Old Town Square), you can walk up the hill to the castle and look down at Betekints Völgy, which view is magnificent.
A pedestrian precinct. There are many shops, cafés and ice-bars located on it. But even if you do not buy anything, it is worth walking through it because of the view.
There are sometimes people playing an instrument or singing on the street, which also gives to its atmosphere. :)

Tihany is a small town located on the Peninsula of Tihany. It offers both bathing possibilities in Lake Balaton and sightseeing possibilities (e.g. the Benedictine Tihany Abbey, the narrow streets in the old town, etc.).
