Drinks & Nightlife
Micro-brewery + restaurant. Not the best service but in the summer with the garage door open it's quite nice for people watching. Their fish and chips is quite decent. Of course, with drinks, I'd go there during their happy hour but watch out when that ends. They won't tell you it has and you'd be surprised with the bill.

Walking or running distance from the house (3-5 mins). A nice trail circling the Silver Lake. You can actually walk through the park to University of Waterloo or Waterloo Tennis Club.
