Quaint town situated on a beautiful lake at the foot of a mountain.
Walk around the lake, admire the famous jet d'eau and flower clock.. Visit old town, and the Cathedral, eat lunch and go for a swim at Bain de Paquis, visit the viaduct de la jonction, have a beer at la "A la point" just near there (low key hippy vibe bar riverside).

You will take a cute red train to the top, then a cable car and stairs down into the glacier valley.
Heads up, there are many stairs leading to the glacier.. Very do-able, just a warning for those not good with stairs.

You will take a cute red train to the top, then a cable car and stairs down into the glacier valley.
Heads up, there are many stairs leading to the glacier.. Very do-able, just a warning for those not good with stairs.
