Robert Redford learned to swim at the pool when he was five years old while visiting family in Austin. Today, Barton Springs still attracts a diverse crowd of people and has seen record setting numbers of visitors nearing 800,000 in recent years.

The lake is outlined with a hike and bike trail and you will see just about everyone doing some type of exercise. You will also be able to take really good pics here especially on a sunny day. Backdrops are amazing! Highly recommend!

Wonderful statue of an influential Texas musician lost too soon. The setting near the river in a popular park is great and easy to find. The statue itself is well done and includes a cool shadow on the ground.
