This is fantastic wood-fired, chewy, thin crust pizza served in a funky spot near the train tracks. Pizza Art is BYO so stop by the Rockwell Bottle Shop to pick up something to drink.
A few must-orders: bruschetta, add house-cured meat to any pizza, and end with the best tiramisu I've ever had.

Sightseeing in the neighborhood
Horner Park is a gigantic park just a few minutes walk from our place - it's so big you'll forget you're in the city! Stroll along the Chicago river through a native plant garden, run or bike on a paved 1 mile loop path, take the kids to the playground, or get some exercise on the courts for tennis, basketball, soccer, or baseball diamonds.
From Memorial Day - October there's a farmer's market on Saturday mornings in front of the field house - stop by for fresh croissants and fruit!

Welles Park is one of the more scenic parks on the north side, about a 15 minute walk from our place. There's a lovely gazebo for photos, a big playground and nature play space for the kids, and an indoor pool and exercise facilities in the field house.

The Rockwell station of the CTA brown line (the subway of Chicago) is a 10-12 minute walk through the neighborhood. From here it's about a 30 minute trip to downtown Chicago, and there are easy connections to most other parts of the city. Driving is a hassle in Chicago - take the train instead!
