This place really makes you feel like you are in Colorado.
I highly recommend spending a day here. it has it all: fishing, swimming, camping, picnic spots, hiking, breathtaking scenery.
I advise drive all the way to the dam and then back track.
Outlook trail is definitely worth the short but steep climb.

Eleven Mile Canyon Recreation Area

I highly recommend spending a day here. it has it all: fishing, swimming, camping, picnic spots, hiking, breathtaking scenery.
I advise drive all the way to the dam and then back track.
Outlook trail is definitely worth the short but steep climb.
Sometimes booking online will be cheaper. Just driving up to their parking lot is a pretty scene. Even if you don't go into the caves, take some time to enjoy the scenery from the Cafe.

Manitou is a great little town with a fun main strip. This is where you'll want to go for those local eateries and shopping.
Parking can sometimes be a pain, be prepared to do a little walking...be careful not to park in the residential parking spaces, you will be fined.

Believe it or not this place has been a hit with all of our guests. The kids love it, the couples get competitive, and the elders get nostalgic.
