Outdoor Activity & Scenic View

This amazing Pacific Beach Park boasts some of the most stunning views of Mission Bay, the Pacific Ocean and the city below. The 79-acre park, which is perched high atop Lamont Street at Soledad Road on the border between Pacific Beach and La Jolla, is named after noted local horticulturalist and “Mother of Balboa Park” Kate Sessions.
This is a beautiful park to have a picnic, sprawl out on a blanket while reading a book or enjoying the company of friends and loved ones. An amazing view of pacific beach and Mission Bay. You can watch the sunset as the blue sky turns to a pink-ish purple perfect. It’s one of my favorite places to hangout and enjoy fresh air.

Hiking

Truly a spectacular hiking trail in San Diego County! It is beautiful especially in early Spring when the wild flowers are in bloom. The waterfall is an amazing sight. There is a watering hole you can swim in. The waterfall is likely dry in the Summer & Fall. Be sure to bring lots of water, snacks, and sunscreen. The sun will be on your back, as there is not much shade. It is all downhill at first and the uphill on the way back.

One of California's 14 Cultural Districts, this historic, artsy neighborhood is rooted in Mexican and Chicano cultures. The most obvious proof is Chicano Park, the neighborhood's collection of more than 80 outdoor murals painted onto the concrete girders of the Coronado Bridge.
