It’s 7 minutes away by car. You can also take the free bus transportation that will drop you few meters away from the museum! The Museum hosts a collection of tools, equipment and machinery from the Golden industrial era from loukoumi workshops, to textile, tanning, printing, machinist’s craftsmanship and glass workshops as well as a digital audio and visual archives with testimonies from former workers, maps and plans, a three-dimensional representation of industrial buildings and artifacts from the wreck of the Patrice steamship. Among the exhibits one can also see the first legendary electric car Enfield 8000 constructed in Greece.

That Τown Ηall was built in 1876 under the supervision of Ernst Ziller with a cost estimate of about 300, 000 drachmas. A very large amount for the time! Tip: The stairs of the city hall is a very nice place to chill during day and night time!

That Τown Ηall was built in 1876 under the supervision of Ernst Ziller with a cost estimate of about 300, 000 drachmas. A very large amount for the time! Tip: The stairs of the city hall is a very nice place to chill during day and night time!
5-10 minutes away from the suite on foot! Τook its current name in 1889 by the statue of admiral Andreas Miaoulis, hero of the Greek War of Independence, which locates in the square.

The museum is located 10 minutes driving distance in Ano Syros area! Markos Vamvakaris, born in 1905 in Syros was a pioneer of rebetiko, the urban folk music of Greece. The bouzouki was a disreputable instrument but he paved its path to glory.

It’s 10 minutes driving from the apartment and a lot of stair walking so be prepared! Located in Ano Syros hill it’s one of the two main hills that you see when you enter the port of Syros. The church was built on top of a hill about 1200. Several times the temple was rebuilt. In 1617, it was destroyed by the Turks. Since 1652 the church became the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syros and Milos. In 1834, the last time was rebuilt and since then has a modern look.

Abela beach is our favorite in Syros. It’s located 20 minutes driving distance from Hermoupoli. It’s has very very crystal clear water and it’s perfect for underwater dives due to it’s amazing sea bed! It is very quite far from crowds and noise. Also it has a restaurant few meters from the coast.

Abela beach is our favorite in Syros. It’s located 20 minutes driving distance from Hermoupoli. It’s has very very crystal clear water and it’s perfect for underwater dives due to it’s amazing sea bed! It is very quite far from crowds and noise. Also it has a restaurant few meters from the coast.
It’s an isolated beach in the North side of the island. It can be only reached by boat which departs almost every day from Kini beach. The ticket for the boat costs approximately 20 euros per person. This beach toghether with some others which are also reached only by boat is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. It’s ideal for those who wondering absolutely calmness!

It’s located 15-20 minutes walking distance from the suite, in the port of Hermoupolis. We liked it very much and it’s our favourite Italian restaurant in the city. The space is a old traditional renovated building and offers a very big variety of pasta and pizzas!
