Short chats are part of the friendly Brisbane culture. We call out thanks to bus drivers tapping off. Folk will call you ‘darl’ it’s the Queensland way.

The weather is gorgeous, even in mid winter more often than not and there are plenty of free fun places to swim, paddle and water play. It’s a very walkable city so bring your most comfortable shoes as you may walk a lot further than anticipated, especially exploring South bank and the river.
