19th Century bank building renovated in 2018 and opened as a food and beer hall. There's a taproom in the basement and multiple local kitchens in the main hall. Worth a visit just to get inside the amazing building and a photo of the ornate ceiling!

Our absolute favorite Mexican place in town. It's a casual, order-at-the-counter stand with outdoor seating. They serve beer and tequila (great margaritas) and as well as a full Mexican menu, serve an incredible cheese burger!

Just a ten minute walk from our house this is a must-see. Everyone tells you to visit the rose garden, but check out the succulents as well. There are a number of memorials and, of course, great views of the Capitol building itself.

It's worth checking out the original wing of the museum, housed in the 19th century home of the Crocker family. The more modern wing has both a permanent collection and temporary exhibitions. Check their site for special events and movies (indoor and outdoor). Free every 3rd Sunday!

We included this spot for any pregnant guests! The Root is a very welcoming community center/studio and offers many classes and workshops for new or expecting parents.
