Borrego means little lamb in Spanish. In the Fall and Spring, you will see the little lamb come and drink water to the desert oasis. The Ram is a mystical creature, our desert unicorn. When you see it, you wouldn' t believe your eyes. The ram can jump 3-4 feet. No problem. Then the pack of sheep will blend and camouflage in the desert scape. The only way you know they are there is a trail of tiny pebbles that they kick off the cliff. Check out Montezuma grade S22. Great panoramic view. Indian Head is my all time favorite. On rainy days, he is called Rain Man.
