Hearty Roots is our favorite local farm and they have a lovely farm store. We love to say hi to the chickens and goats and then stock up on farm-fresh food. Sometimes they have pick your own (and there's a fun tree house out back for the kids to play in!).

Gaskins puts Germantown on the map! It is a phenomenal farm to table restaurant with ambiance that will have you booking your next Germantown trip. Their food is seasonal, so the menu is always changing, and each new dish is better than the last.

Kitty's is right across the street from the Hudson train station, so it's a great spot for brunching after picking up a friend from the train station (or for letting the kids watch the train come and go as you sip your coffee!).
