A lot of people swing by there on their way to a game or concert. The grocery side is an asian grocery store but you can get all the basics from there too including liquor .

The lobster po-boy meal w/macaroni salad and coconut rice is incredible! Plus the have happy hour drink specials.

Ivar's is the perfect way to spend the afternoon lunch. Enjoy fresh fish along with golden fries. The clam chowder is famous around these parts, my favorite is the Salmon chowder. It's on the boardwalk with the most beautiful view of Elliot Bay. The outdoor seating allows for a beautiful sunset as Ferries come and go. Right next door is Ivars Fish Bar which the bigger indoor Restaurant.

This place is in the north part of downtown called Belltown. It's really relaxed and the retractable windows gives it an outdoor feel. The drinks are strong and I would definitely recommend wandering thru Belltown and checking out the other things in the area afterwards.

Sightseeing
If you have time take a Ferry ride for $7 at the waterfront to one of the several Islands such as Bainbridge, Vashon or Bremerton. The view of the Seattle skyline on the way back is the most beautiful scenery ever.

The Space Needle is here. You can get there by taking the Monorail from 5th & Pine st. Once there you can ride it to the top and enjoy the nice restaurant they have. There are telescopes for viewing all of Seattle from the top as well. The Pacific Science Center is also here along with the Laser Dome.
