My absolute favourite place in Barcelona. It is a bit tricky to get here, but absolutely worth it. 3 ways to get here: either by car or taxi/cabify, or with the bus 22, or by metro until Carmel, however this includes a little longer walk. Google the place, it is breathtaking!

Old Market in el Born. The building doesn't look super appealing from the outside, but inside you can see one of the many ancient ruins from the old 'Barcino', and they also usually have some exhibitions of local artists in there. Entrance is free and it takes around 10-15 minutes to visit.

This is one of the best spas I have ever been to. It is a magical spot to relax, on your own, with a friend or your partner, it is definitely worth a visit. It is a bit pricey, but I would recommend you get a 30' massage with your ticket. If you are feeling fancy, you can also enjoy some more interesting options.

Lovely beach at the Costa Brava, ideal if you are here for a few days with a car and want to see one of the nice beaches in Cataluña. Lovely to snorkel, nice chiringuito and also a restaurant to have very good food, especially fish.

Tossa de Mar is a beautiful town in Costa Brava. Lovely to have a long walk, visit the castle and it's ancient walls, and have good food with a nice view.

Be Active
If you like hiking, this mountain has got beautiful scenery, and is in close proximity to Barcelona, around 30' car drive. If you don't want to hike, you can also park on top of the mountain, by the monastery, visit the 'Moreneta' our black virgin and enjoy the views from the top.

Do not eat at any restaurant in Las Ramblas.
You will get cheap quality food. They attract tourists with nice looking and big cocktails, however food is terrible and low quality. Avoid at any cost!

Book a Free Walking Tour
There are many free walking tours available in Barcelona. I personally recommend booking one for your first or second day in the city, that covers mainly the old town. It will give you a general impression of Barcelona, its history and heritage, and it's free! You can give the guide a tip, but this is up to you and if you liked their guided tour!
If you enjoy architecture, I also recommend taking a free Gaudi walking tour.
