Sightseeing

If you fancy a lovely walk round Grimaud then le Pont des Fees is a must. The bridge was an aqueduct built in the 16th century to carry water from a local hill 3km to a fountain in Grimaud. The footpath is steep and rocky in places so good walking shoes are essential, this is not a path to try with flip-flops or deck shoes! There is little shade once you get into the valley, so if you are visiting in summer a hat and suncream are sensible. The footpath isn't long but the valley traps the heat so it is also very warm, so consider taking water if you are going here with children.
