Rent a quad and drive the 7km mountain rd to Mal Pais and Santa Teresa. Check out the lovely white beaches, bustling town (relative to Cabuya) and variety of restaurants. Super fun day!

Visit the first ever national reserve in Costa Rica, just 500m from our cabin. Many of the animals you can see in the park are common to Cabuya area, due to the close proximity to the park

The lovely town of Montezuma is just 7km away, or 20 mins on the bus that passes in front of the cabin a few times a day. The waterfalls in Montezuma are a must see! As is a walk to Playa Grande.

Enjoy an amazing, cook your own marinated food at Vista del Olas. Enjoy cocktails in the infinity pool and then drive back mountain road to Cabuya. One of our favourite ways to spend the day!
