Food scene

La Pescadora (formerly “The Blue Shrimp”) is one of the best seafood restaurants we’ve ever tried. It’s a 10 minute walk from the apartment. La Pescadora is part of three restaurants (Mina, Si Sushi) – that are consistently the best in the area. With exceptional service, incredible food, consistent quality and a beachfront view of the ocean, La Pescadora is the place to go. Favorites: Guacamole, prepared table-side with hand-pressed tortilla chips. Classic margarita, on the rocks with hand-squeezed fresh limes. Whole red snapper on the grill stuffed with rosemary Grilled blue shrimp Ceviche

Directly across the street from the apartment, the local pizza restaurant will delight you. The owner (Ropi), is a local artist/painter whose art decorates all the walls. You can even see his studio tucked in the corner of the restaurant. Favorite dishes: Soup of the day Guacamole w/ tortilla chips Shrimp in garlic sauce Mahi-Mahi in Ropi sauce Pizza, of course!
