Love this park on the coast! I was there in December and saw 2 Whooping Cranes and 2 Alligators. Has a huge observation tower and some neat boardwalks. Great place to drive thru or hike. Very scenic and representative of coastal Texas!

1 Wildlife CirLove this park on the coast! I was there in December and saw 2 Whooping Cranes and 2 Alligators. Has a huge observation tower and some neat boardwalks. Great place to drive thru or hike. Very scenic and representative of coastal Texas!
If you want to visit a remote, uninhabited Texas beach with hardly anyone on it-this is it! Take the Jetty Boat from Aransas Pass ($12) and they pick you up. No facilities or anything to buy. Bring suncreen, hats and a shade structure, water and food. You can walk for miles and beach comb. Hurricane pushed up some barges inland. They are huge! Love this place!
