Accessible from Maine Ave. and Bridge St. in Gardiner (as well as locations in Augusta), this is a fantastic paved trail that follows the old railway and has gorgeous views of the Kennebec River. Perfect for walking, biking, skating, etc. Kid and dog friendly!

Very affordable, and they have discs you can rent or purchase, as well as other recreational areas and facilities for use on the property.
