You can also explore the gorgeous township of Mogo which is full of vibrant and interesting shopping and local fare. There is also The Original Gold Rush Colony in Mogo which is very educational as you take in the workings of an authentic gold rush colony. You are able to walk through the old buildings and see the machinery used for mining gold as well as have a go yourself.
