There are a variety of places to see and things to do for all ages and all ability levels.
This is a 10 minute drive from our guesthouse. Park at the Bateau Bay Beach Car Park and walk up the trail to Crackneck Lookout. The trail is approx 1.5km. From Crackneck you are able to continue along the trail to Forresters Beach. A beautiful part of the Central Coast.

There are great waterways to kayak across the coast including, Wamberal Lagoon, Avoca Lagoon, The Entrance, Wyong Creek and Ourimbah Creek. 2 kayaks are available for use from our guesthouse.

Who knew the humble marshmallow could be the hero of an up-market candy shop? Well, the dessert masterminds behind the Marshmallow Co in Wyong, that’s who. Their pillowy cubes of handmade mallows come in a surprisingly diverse range of 40 different flavours, from classics like vanilla bean and strawberry to more experimental creations like watermelon and pineapple-coconut. But, for our money at least, you need to try the Marshmallow Co’s deliciously oozy s’mores (ie melted marshmallow and chocolate between two Graham crackers). This house speciality comes in six different varieties, but we’d be hard-pressed to tell you which is our favourite, so it’s probably best that you try them all.

Long Jetty Street Festival occurs in November every year. Long Jetty has fast become a cool hipsters paradise and this trendy neighbourhood has a lot to offer. Kerbside cafés line the main road along with pretty little vintage and fashion boutiques and street art installations can be found down side streets and alleyways. The picturesque shared pathway runs along the foreshore of Tuggerah Lake and is a great spot for walking, cycling and scooter riding and passes some fun little playgrounds for the kids. The foreshore faces west so pack a late afternoon picnic and bask whilst experiencing a spectacular winter sunset.
