This is a small brewery in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Really nice old windmill as well :)
The brewery was opened by Kaspar Peterson, a former musician, in October 1985 and was one of several small breweries that opened in cities around the Netherlands in response to consumers' dissatisfaction with beer brewed by the larger companies.
It brews eight standard beers and three seasonal beers,[3] besides limited edition beers.

Bar Basquiat, inspired by street art legend Jean Michel Basquiat, is a place where drinks are flowing and food keeps coming. In the whole place Basquiats influence is shown and this makes it a beautiful and creative bar.
During the day the Bar has a relaxed atmosphere. In the weekends this changes to a sizzling hot vibe and with DJ's on fridays and saturdays a bit of dancing is not uncommon. See you soon?

Neighborhoods
In Amsterdam’s centre you will, of course, find the magnificent Canal Ring, but there is so much more besides. The inner city, for instance, is bursting with interesting museums, sometimes hidden behind beautiful canal-side façades. The diversity of the city centre’s culture is vast, from the emotional Anne Frank House in the west of the centre, through to the upbeat nature of Science Center NEMO in the east. In between, find an inspiring collection of art and history.

If you like sweet, try a fresh hot stroopwaffle. A Dutch waffle with caramel inside. If you are more into salty, I would recommend to order some kibbeling, a fried fish that comes with a sauce, or typically Dutch, try a raw herring with pickle and onions!

Wanna see Rembrandt, Picasso, Van Gogh, Modigliani? Well, The Rijksmuseum is like the Luvre of Holland. Its the premier art museum of the Netherlands, and no visitor to Amsterdam can afford to miss it. There is an excellent collection of around 200 masterpieces – a sort of 'best of’ group – exhibited in a side section called the Philips wing and it was recently completely renovated!
