Wonderful Japanese restaurant that has been in the neighborhood for many years. Nice big place with lots of choices for lunch or dinner. We love their rolls and "Ariyoshi salad".

A city park that was essentially reclaimed from a scrap heap and built by local sculptors -- right on the river. A great place to walk and check out local life and interesting sculpture. They have free yoga on Sat and Sun mornings from May thru Sept.

Huge park -- on Sundays you can see 15 different soccer games, cricket, baseball, etc. The remnants of the 1964 World's Fair are still there: the iconic Unisphere and those towers from Men in Black. Ice skating rink (olympic size) the Queens Zoo, Queens Museum. And the US Open is there, too.
