Large lake, fishing, beach, walking trails. One of the larger lakes in the Ohio Park System, Caesar Creek offers hiking trails, horse riding, pontoon boat rentals, cabins, RV and primitive camping sites and a beach. There is also a pioneer village featuring original log cabins from a bygone era. This park is about 23 minutes from my home.

This ancient Indian mound dates back a thousand years. You can walk through the park-line setting, stop in at the museum or climb the platform and view the mound in its entirety. This site is about 40 minutes from my home.

This is a strip mall pizza joint with an open buffet that serves some of the best pizza I've ever had - so many varieties and at a very reasonable price. It is about 20 minutes from my home.

This original stage and screen theatre was the center of activity in WIlmington a hundred years ago but fell into disrepair and decimation with time. Now, it is nearly fully refurbished and is a fine representation of small town America a century ago.
