You can see James Bond Island (Man with the Golden Gun was filmed here) and Koh Panyee which is a floating village both of which you can see via a boat trip.

The Sino-Portuguese architecture is quite distinctive in Old Phuket Town. Old Phuket town was built during the boom time of the tin mining industry. It is small enough to walk around in one morning so try and get there before it gets too hot. There are lots of places to snack and shops where you can get beautiful souvenirs or presents to take back home.
