Parks & Nature

This park is right in your backyard! Walk down the street and turn left up the concrete stairs. Follow the path for the most stunning view of the iconic Inner Harbor skyline. There is a large playground in the center with a pirate ship, slides and swings. Grab some drinks and snacks and set up a picnic at the top of the hill to watch the sunset.

Encatada is truly a hidden treasure. Because it's nestled in the American Visionary Art Museum, it's a pretty well kept secret. The outdoor seating is one of my favorite spots to enjoy the view and watch what's going on around the city.

Sightseeing

This is my favorite spot to run in the city. Minus a few tricky unmarked parts, it's an unobstructed 8 mile run along the Baltimore waterfront - no stopping for cars and traffic! Beautiful views of the city from all angles. If you're looking for a leisurely stroll, I suggest walking along the promenade through the Inner Harbor to Fells Point.

Drinks & Nightlife

This place captures the quirkiness and charm or Baltimore. Order the charcuterie and a sandwich to split - trust me! This place doesn't have a full kitchen, but what it lacks in an extensive menu it makes up for in delicious sandwiches and not so small plates. Jeff, the owner is a gem of a human, and often will give you free samples, especially his delicious bread pudding. Nosh on free popcorn and licquorice while you wait.
