Had a great time at Heather's fabulous property. Sitting creekside at her fire pit is heaven on earth. Her caretaker, Howie, helps out with anything you could possible need. The apartment is cozy, tidy and clean. Would definitely stay again!

The place was clean and well equipped and looks like it does in the photos. The host was well organized and helpful and left some coffee and milk for us in the fridge which was nice. The place is a little chilly so just remember to turn up the thermostat to heat it up.

Went for a holiday weekend getaway, we couldn't have found a better house or town to do it in! It was very clean and charming, was completely equipped with plenty of fresh towels and kitchen supplies. (We cooked most of the weekend) The house is in the most charming location complete with a creek just behind. Would definitely stay again!

Heather was very responsive and accommodating to our travel schedules. The location was beyond beautiful where she lives, the prettiest magical country side near local trails to discover and stunning roads to bike on. Her caretaker Howie was really great and helpful. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay in Jewett! The hosts are super friendly, gave us a quick tour of the apartment and had great recommendations for dinner. Their suggestion of Hammo's to watch a game and drink local beer was spot on. As described, it was a quick 10 minute drive to Windham resort. We'd definitely stay again for a ski weekend at Hunter and/or Windham.

This place was great! I recently stayed here for the night after snowboarding. It was very easy to find and only 10 minutes from hunter and windham. It was clean and comfortable, Joe made us feel like we were home. I would definitely stay here again.

2 friends of mine and I stayed in Joe's and Anna's apartment overnight before heading to the blackhead mountain range for some extensive hiking. The apartment was perfect, and exactly as described. Joe was a very friendly and accommodating host! After getting stuck in traffic on our way out of the city, Joe was very understanding, stayed up to welcome us and give us a tour of the apartment. The apartment was immaculately clean, and well take care of. My friends and I would highly recommend Joe and Anna as hosts and their apartment as a place to spend a few nights when visiting the Catskills.

Fantastic apartment with lovely hosts. Anna and Joe were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. They have three very friendly dogs who snore and scratch a bit at night - if you're a light sleeper you might want to consider ear plugs! - but otherwise everything was excellent. The apt has a private entrance and all the typical commodities. It's in a great location if you're looking for somewhere quiet and out of the way. We visited Colgate Lake which is amazing to swim in, and the area is fantastic for hiking. Woodstock is also under an hour away, and it has some great shops and restaurants. If you're a veggie, you won't have to worry. I recommend this place if you're looking for an outdoorsy vacation. There's hiking, biking, ziplining, kayaking spots and much more. As previously said, Anna and Joe are lovely people and do their absolute best to make you feel welcome. Joe have plenty of recommendations for local places to go eat and we would be happy to go back.

We recently stayed for a Saturday night after taking a day hike in the area. Our hike took a little longer than expected, but Joe and Anna were very accommodating with our slightly later arrival. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet Anna, but Joe is a very friendly guy and made us feel instantly welcome. The apartment is exactly as pictured and the area is absolutely beautiful (and colorful in September). I wish we had planned to stay longer! We had dinner in Windham at Cave Mountain Brewery and breakfast at Nana Gail's Cafe (Joe's recommendation). Both were great! We will definitely consider staying here in the future. The location is prime and we saved lot of money by not staying in a regular bed and breakfast (most were booked anyway).

Stayed the weekend for ski trip at Hunter mt. Very close (10 min drive) and very cozy home. Anna and Joe were both very warm in welcoming. They also made sure that we were comfortable as if we were in our own homes. Place was very clean and I would highly recommend staying here. The main street full of restaurants and pubs are less than 5 mi away so there is plenty of things to do if you are looking for an adventure.

This was the cleanest Airbnb I've ever stayed in! It was the perfect location if you want to go skiing at Windham or Hunter Mountains. Joe was very nice and showed us around the apartment at almost midnight when we got in from the city. Joe and Anna live right up stairs. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

My family and I stayed at Joe's place for the weekend. We had a great time! The place is spacious and functional, and Joe made us feel very welcome. It's just 10min away from Windham. We would come again.

We really felt welcome there, the hosts were incredibly friendly. The place was very very clean, cozy and well furnished with everything needed (it really exceeded our expectations). The area is quiet, pretty and relaxing. If going to ski in the area, I'd talk to Jacki, she might be able to help.

Bob and Jacki were great hosts, we wanted a quiet retreat and they very much let us have it. The place was super clean, so the $100 dollar cleaning bill was worth it if clean is what your after. Its only a hundred a night, so if you stay more than 2 days it's a better deal than most other places. The back deck is private and the view was great.

Wally is hospitable. He is very accommodating. The place was a safe haven. I went to a music festival by myself and i had no worries. The creek was beautiful and loved having my balcony door open at night.

Jim's place was great - I thought the coffee and tea was a nice touch - less than a half hour walk to hunter mountain for our concert festival!

My six year old and I loved our stay here for our mom-daughter "ski-cation." From the Tweetie-Bird bedding Jim specially appointed for my kid to the stove we cozied up in front of for hours of reading aloud, we got some serious R&R in between some serious fun skiing at Hunter Mountain just five minutes away.

It was such a blessing to arrive at Jim's place, and be greeted so warmly and kindly. He immediately smudged me down using a Lakota method of energetic cleansing, which was such a gift since that is my spiritual path as well. Truly a honor to sit with Jim and talk about the practices and people that we share in common, and such a surprise. Even if that isn't your own particular way, Jim is an incredibly generous and caring host and will do everything he can to help make your stay a beautiful one. The space is just as described, very spacious and inviting. The gas fireplace is a nice addition and adds a wonderful ambience to the space. There is a lot to do in the area, and Jim has lived there since the early 90s so is knowledgeable and willing to share info about all of it. I can't recommend staying with him enough. Aho anpetu tanka, toksa ake!

The apartment is very clean, comfortable, and convenient. It's right in the middle of Windham, which is a beautiful little town. And Mary's restaurant downstairs has great food and a very friendly staff.

I stayed at Mary's place June into July 2017 with my teenage son. The two bedroom apartment is located above her restaurant, Neapolis. This happens to be above our favorite restaurant in the Windham / Hunter. Everything was provided that we could ask for, clean towels, bedding, even some toiletries. There were two bottles of water, apple juice, and a couple of Italian deserts in the fridge upon our arrival. We met Mary and she is so nice and gracious. (So is her staff). A few words about location: The apartment is right on Main Street in Windham in the business district. It is on second floor and only accessible via stairs. It within walking distance to small shops, a diner, movie theater and other restaurants. Even though it is on Main Street, you don't here traffic, although you do smell delicious foods at times!! Windham Mountain is less than five minutes away by either car or bike. Hunter Mountain and other great places are about 15 minutes away. There are a multitude of hiking trails nearby. Although the Creekside Deli closed, there is a Valero gas station a short walk away which has a deli in it and is comparable to a Wawa (from our area). Parking is on street or in the municipal lot next door. (We never had to park in that lot, even on the 4th of July). Check in and check out was simple. We will be back!!

Mary and her husband were great hosts and ensured that we had everything we needed to make our stay great. They also have a great restaurant below the apartment for lunch or dinner.

Gorgeous view. Top of the mountain. Plenty of space. Dana is a great host. Be aware that this is one of two apartments that is attached to a house. All three are usually occupied and you will be interacting with people and hear/see related car/foot traffic. If you are looking for solitude, and getting away from it all, Dana's place may not be for you.

My wife and I loved the panoramic views offered from Dana’s apartment. The unit had both a front and back outside deck/patio for enjoying the clean mountain air. We enjoyed a BBQ on the grill our first night and had our breakfast and tea each morning on the deck overlooking the colorful fall foliage of the Catskill mountains. The grounds offered some light walking/hiking trails if one wanted to immerse themselves deeper into nature. Would definitely return again.

Dana's place is super comfortable. It has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. The views are amazing...and the grounds are fun to explore. Dana was also very responsive to the many questions I had about the area and its resources.

Spectacular views is right! My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights in Dana's loft in December. The loft is perfect for a couple's getaway. It is spacious with high ceilings and large windows with an abundance of natural sunlight and excellent views of the Catskills. The loft also has a nice cabin/mountains feel with a real fireplace. The area is pretty isolated (for those who live near a city), which is just what we were looking for. Just remember to go grocery shopping somewhere more populated if you plan to stay here for a while. This is perfect for a couple that needs a reprise from the chaos of city life. Dana was a lovely host! Very proactive in communication and always responsive. John, the property manager, was also very welcoming and helpful. It was a pleasure getting to meet them both and I hope to make it back for a long weekend soon.

The views were some of the best I've ever seen- Truly magical! I'm not sure the pictures do it justice. Definitely off the beaten path, but so worth it if you're looking for a relaxing getaway! The condo perfectly suited our needs and was clean and comfortable. The back deck is definitely the highlight! Though there was a large group staying in the main house, you could barely hear them (even when they were grilling outside). Overall a great experience and worth it for almost the views alone! Also, Dana was a great host- very accommodating and responsive! Lots of great suggestions of what to do and where to go in the area. So close to Belleayre, too, for those looking for a skiing getaway. Hope to come back soon!

We spent two days at Dana's Spectacular Mountain Views apartment. Dana was very responsive and helpful before our arrival. She was also very understanding and patient with us when we called to get directions. The apartment was very accommodating and provided the spectacular views described in the ad. This place was wonderful! Incredible mountain views and a beautiful porch looking over them. Dana was extremely helpful with directions and answering questions before the stay. John, the property manager, was very helpful for anything we needed while we were there! He even brought us coffee. He did forget to turn on the hot water, but fixed it as soon as he could! This area is beautiful and so serene. At night, the starry sky will take your breath away! A wonderful experience all around--I'd recommend to anyone!

Great accommodation option for our group when visiting Windham. The Hosts helped make us feel welcome. Giving handy information about the area, good chats and even left marshmallows for the campfire. The apartment is full equipped and really feels like a home. My bed was super comfortable and I slept like a baby. The layout was two double beds and we organised an extra bed in the living area. Fantastic hosts and accommodation. Really went above and beyond to make our stay as homely as possible.

My family booked at the last minute for a ski getaway and it was great to be able to confirm everything within minutes. The apartment was tidy and comfortable and Daniele was available to answer any questions we had. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept very well. I'd definitely recommend it as an option of you're heading to Windham for some winter fun.

We stayed at Stargazers Paradise as two couples, and it was the perfect size for us for a Labor Day weekend getaway. Daniele & Karl played amiable hosts and were easily accessible via phone or text before and throughout our stay. Karl even led us on a great hike our first afternoon. They both gave great advice on where to eat and things to do. We went ziplining on their suggestion, and loved it!! The property itself is part of a duplex; we stayed in the downstairs apartment and the owners upstairs. Each bedroom is a decent size with a dresser, closet and nice linens. The one bathroom was clean and provided soap/shampoo/hairdryer as well as plenty of towels. The large kitchen is equipped with all appliances and cooking tools, and they even let us use their Weber grill on their upstairs deck. The entire place is decorated in a tasteful "country chic" and nothing felt cheap or second rate. Also provides Wi-Fi and cable TV (although we never turned the TV on once). The property is set in a quiet, wooded area, yet is no more than a 15-20 minute drive to so many activities, including horseback riding, swimming, hiking, ziplining, antiquing, and skiing in winter. We had a 20 lbs dog with us that we pre-approved with Daniele, and she was kind enough to walk him when we had to leave him home during our ziplining adventures. Overall, both house and hosts are well recommended by this first time Airbnb user.

Great stay close to town and close to the mountain. Perfect for a family of 4 plus my four-legged friend. I would come back and stay there again. Couldn't ask for better weather the week we stayed!!

This is a wonderful apartment with three bedrooms and huge living room. It has a very well equipped kitchen. There are two full baths with one having a jacuzzi tub. We spent three nights here while attending a large family reunion nearby. It was far better than staying in the area hotels. Claudia is friendly and very helpful.

This place is in a great location a few minutes from skiing. There is a view out onto the ski runs and the apartment was larger than what it looked in the photos. Claudia was a great host and I would recommend this residence to anybody. Also the restaurant is fantastic!

Claudia's apartment is lovely -- it's above a nice restaurant (the noise level was very low and unobtrusive, even on the Friday before NYE) and extremely close to Windham Mountain (5 min drive). I traveled there with my family for three nights at the end of December and had a very nice stay. The apartment looks out over the slopes, so you get to watch the early-bird skiers as well as the nighttime sling -- it's very scenic. Also, there's an adorable movie theater across the street, with sofas and tables -- so much fun for the kids! Claudia was very responsive to any issues we had and we would be happy to have the opportunity to stay at her place the next time we visit Windham.

We had a glorious Labor Day weekend in Wyndham. Claudia was there to greet us, show us around and answer any of our questions throughout our stay. At one point, the WIFI went down and I sent her a text. Within 5 minutes, it was taken care of. The apartment is in the middle of this adorable town with nice shops and restaurants. The best restaurant in town is owned by Claudia ad her husband and you can order dinner and have it delivered to the apartment. The apartment looks just like photos. Very easy to call home. Great comfortable sofas to relax. Numerous country roads to explore and enjoy the clean country NY air. We would definitely return.

We loved staying in this house. It was less than a minute walk to bars and restaurants. We skied Windham and it was a few minute drive there as well. The apartment was clean and equip with everything we needed. It was a perfect weekend getaway.

This home was the perfect choice for a ski trip to Windham Mountain. Joe and his family were all very friendly and thoughtful. They even baked some cookies for us when we arrived! The home itself is cozy, spacious, clean, and very close to the bus stop and the resort/mountain. Candles in the kitchen, living room, and bedroom were a lovely touch. The wifi and TV were a pleasant surprise. Of note: the address Airbnb provided to us is not the address of where we actually stayed. The location of the apartment is much closer to the resort than the address we were provided.

My friends and I had an amazing 4th of July weekend here. Kristina's place is definitely one of the best Airbnb places I've ever stayed. Everything was as described, fully equipped, and super clean. The rooms had beautiful wooden walls with soft scents. The path to the house a couple of minutes up from the town was beautiful with curving roads and trees and daisies on both sides. I would stay again at Kristina's place and definitely recommend to my friends.

our stay in hunter was awesome! The porch has a beautiful view and wonderful hottub, and the apartment is a great place to relax after a fun day in the mountains! Alexis and Devin were incredibly accommodating and great communicators!

All good. Its a wonderful neighborhood at the foot of hunter. Its about 12 min walk to the loge. Roads leed to hunter mountains driveway. House and property is cute.

Alexis was great at communicating and sharing lots of information about the town, groceries, activities nearby, and the property. The apartment had everything we needed for a weekend getaway and plenty of cooking tools etc. We enjoyed staying at the property, and the big charcoal grill and hot tub made our stay extra fun! Even though there is no AC in the apartment, it stayed very cool despite hot weather outside. The scenery was very pretty and we enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was perfect! Everything was very clean and in great condition, including the hot tub and grill that were pretty much used all weekend:) Alexis was super helpful by sending us a list of things to do in the area and it made for a really relaxing weekend. She was super pleasant to email back and forth with & very thorough. I'll definitely keep this cabin in mind whenever I make it up to the Catskills again!

My friends and I stayed in this beautiful, clean 2 bedroom apt. owned by Karolina and was more than pleased with the accommodations. Karolina is the perfect host. Friendly, inviting, informative and gracious. The place was clean and well stocked with supplies. I would highly recommend renting from Karolina.

Karolina's apartment was lovely -- spacious, modern, and clean. The views from the deck were stunning, and amenities like the grill and DVDs made our stay really memorable. The cabin apt was great. Very close to the mountain and great little kitchen. As per the other reviews the mattresses aren't great and it can be cold in the bedrooms if the doors are closed. But very clean.

This was the prefect place to stay at for the Taste of Country festival. Karolina was the perfect time host. She even had a bottle of wine waiting for us! The house was immaculate and well stocked and it was the perfect time size for four people. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone going to TOC in the future.

This apartment is cozy, comfortable, and ideal for guests looking to take advantage of all Hunter Mountain has to offer. It has all the basic amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Additionally, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better host than John. He was consistently communicative (both proactively and responsively) before and during our stay. He even had some of our favorite drinks waiting for us in the fridge upon arrival! It's little details like that that made for an outstanding stay (even though we didn't spend all that much time in the apartment). I highly recommend this space and John as a host to anyone!

Cozy, comfortable, and clean. John is an amazing host! Before he accepted, he made sure that I understood the fact that it was only for the lower level portion of the house and not the top level. He even bought beers he thought I would like for me to try. I can't praise him enough. He was very attentive and answered questions within minutes. The space itself is great. There's even a dehumidifier that keeps the air nice and filtered. The area it's in was extremely private which I loved. Everything was super clean and he provided all the basic necessities. Again I cannot stress this enough, the place was beautifully clean. He has HBO Go, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime video. The futon turns into a spacious bed and the driveway is extremely spacious as well. What else do you really need? The only complaint I have is that the bed and pillows were too soft but that's a personal preference. There's even five pillows for just the bed! I would 100% recommend John and his home to any travelers wanting to visit the area.

Summary: the location of John's A-frame is perfect for Hunter Mountain goers. The furnishings and general construction of this unit are very pristine and appear to be recent/new. John is also very responsive and eager to help, while still being hands-off. He was also kind enough to let us remain parked in his driveway after checking out, while Mountain Jam was underway! Cleanliness/Allergies: the blankets, bedding, and furniture are very well kept and clean (and comfortable). The apartment boasted little or no dust whatsoever, and the premises were well kept. Bedroom dresser drawers were empty, clean, and available. No bugs/mold/smell/hygiene issues. No sign of pets in the unit whatsoever, though the stairs leading to the upstairs unit (off-limits afaik) do show signs of a previous pet. My wife has critical, intense allergies to pets (the worst I've ever seen), and she did well here, minus occasional wheezing. Appliances/Amenities: provided are an electric griddle with pans, microwave, refrigerator, large flat-screen TV, Bose speakers, washer/dryer, grill, front and back deck with chairs and sun/rain umbrella, and a fire-pit with wood and kindling stocked (and lighter fluid). Water/Shower: excellent water pressure, shower drainage (stand-up shower only), and water quality. The water is also hot, and has a fast response time. Shampoo and conditioner were provided. Property: sits on a dead-end road (nice, no traffic), about 40-50 feet from the road, wooded area behind and adjacent to the house. Street-parking prohibited on all nearby streets, but enough room for 3-4 cars in the driveway. Communication: pretty instant, and John also provides his cell for immediate needs. Access: super easy, no-key combination entry, which also simplifies late arrival.
