It was very nice stay, everything perfectly organized, clean, worm atmosphere. House is located in incredible natural scenery with Connemara view on one side and bay view on the second. Young and very friendly family prepared to help with anything you need. We can highly recommend it. It was really pleasure to stay.

Celine was really friendly and welcoming when we arrived. She really made us feel at home at once. The Lodge is located in the middle of rural Galway and the scenery around it is absolutely wonderful and breathtaking. The room we had was very spacious, clean and tidy. She also made a wonderful and delicious breakfast in the morning. I would absolutely recommend staying at her place!

Richie and Joanna are lovely hosts and answered all the questions we had regarding our travel arrangements. We just spent a wonderful week at the cottage and the views are amazing, the location is quiet and so relaxing. The cottage is very comfortable and really spacious! Less than 30mins drive are Connemara places of interest (Kylemore Abbey, Ashford Castle. Connemara National Park, Roundstone, Aran Islands port) and the vibrant town of Westport is just up the road. We visited all of them and we also did a day trip to Galway city (less than 1 hour by car) and the Cliffs of Moher on our way futher south of the country on the “wild atlantic way”. The bottle of wine was a lovely touch and much appreciated. 100% recommended.

We had a wonderful time in Glenvalley House. It's the perfect, quiet location to enjoy the Connemara region and relax after a day out in nature. Josephine was really welcoming and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and great choice of breakfast. I definitely recommend staying at Glenvalley House !

Josephine is a wonderful host who created a lovely, cozy base in the middle of Connemara national park. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated and the breakfast was divine. You can take beautiful walks right from the doorstep and with the Fjord, Kylemore Abbey and the little town Leenane all close by there is plenty to do and to see.

Le sejour était confortable malgré un petit défaut des toilettes. Cela n'empêche pas d'apprécier la beauté du paysage car le cadre est juste incroyable ! J'ai adoré vivre quelques jours chez Conor et Chloé. L'appartement privé était très confortable grâce à sa cuisine équipée, sa salle de bain et sa literie de très bonne qualité. Conor m'a donné pleins de bons conseils pour visiter la région et j'en ai pris pleins les yeux! Sa femme Chloe et lui sont de très bons hôtes que je recommande, et si je reviens un jour au Connemara c'est chez eux que je souhaiterai encore sejourner. Encore merci !!

This flat is one of the best place to sleep while travelling in Connemara. We were very well welcomed by Conor. In the little flat, you have all the stuff you need to stay for few days.

Sehr netter Vermieter. Unkomplizierter Empfang. Herrliche Lage am Fjord. Apartment ist eine Hälfte eines Wohnhauses, in der anderen Hälfte wohnen die Besitzer. Das Appartement war sauber mit einem gemütlichen Küchen- und Wohnbereich. Highlight nach einem regnerischen Ausflugstag ist sicherlich die Fußboden-Heizung. Ca 500 Meter entfernt gibt es zwei Pubs und ein sehr nettes kleines Lokal mit lecker Fisch und irischen Spezialitäten.

We had a great stay at Peter's place. The location (and view!) is fantastic. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and had lovely heated floors. Highly recommend!

the appartment is as described on airbnb. well situated to visit the surrounding (Connemara national park, kylemore abbey, renvyle peninsula, clifden...), gorgeous seaview... we took the key at hamilton's pub as required (the lady was very kind) but the pub was in work done, so we went to drink beer and irish coffee at the other pub, the gaynor's, very nice too. we do not put a 5 stars appreciation and regret it : it is just because of the bed in parental bedroom : too soft. it is of course subjective but it was quite difficult for us to sleep well because of that. we are sure that peter will do all the possible to clear up this point. this appartment still a good deal for anyone who wants to visit Connemara and south mayo.

The apartment is in a great location with a spectacular view. It was a basic apartment but very comfortable for the 4 of us. The owner arranged for bottled water to be dropped of to us due to a boil water alert currently affecting Leenane, if you plan to stay here you may want to check into whether this is still in effect so that you can plan accordingly. It should be noted that there is no cell phone coverage here for any area code other than (087).

The apartment was clean and neat, with comfortable beds. Our host met us when we arrived to let us in. The apartment is in a very scenic area, with a view of the water and surrounding mountains.

Emplacement idéal, au calme, avec beaucoup d'espace, dans un village charmant et paisible. Quant à la vue, les photos parlent d'elles mêmes. Peter est très aimable, il s'est organisé pour que nous puissions récupérer nos clés et les rendre au pub du village, ainsi c'était très simple. L'appartement était situé au coté gauche d'une grande maison, avec tout le nécessaire de cuisine, lave linge et lave vaisselle qui étaient très pratiques. Le salon est très agréable à vivre, les lits confortables, la salle de bains fournie en produits de toilettes était également très bienvenue pour nous qui ne voyageons qu'avec le strict minimum. Chauffage au sol, place de parking, tranquillité et vue imprenable sur le fjord. Ces trois jours furent bien sympathiques, nous nous sommes sentis chez nous!

Eine schöne Unterkunft, sehr abgelegen mit schönem Ausblick. Die Zimmer sind schön, geräumig und zweckmäßig. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt. Die Unterkunft war recht groß - es war wohl noch ein Feriencamp mit Kindern untergebracht. Man hatte allerdings auch als müder Reisender seine Ruhe. Am Frühstückstisch war man sehr zuvorkommend und bot uns einen separaten ruhigeren Raum abseits des morgendlichen Programms für die Kinder an. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden wieder kommen.

La structure est bien pensée et bien implantée dans le cadre naturel. La structure propose des activités de tous types mais il faut penser à réserver sur le site (URL HIDDEN) C'est quand même impressionnant le parcours du combattant. Le petit-déjeuner se prend à l'étage mais avec les différents groupes présents ou les familles c'est un peu compliquer de trouver sa place ( du personnel du centre parle français donc quand on est un peu déstabiliser par le monde et la cohut c'est agréable ). On peut réserver aussi des irish breakfast. On avait une chambre dortoir de 6 personnes pour nous 4 ce qui a été agréable au point de vue place. La salle de bain est correcte ( manque juste une raclette pour l'eau après la douche ). L'eau est puissante et bien chaude. Comme la structure accueille des groupes de jeunes le calme est tout-à-fait relatif donc si vous avez le sommeil léger attention. Le centre est parfaite pour visiter le connemara dans tous les modes de transport et la nature est omniprésente. The structure is well planned and implanted in the natural setting. The property offers all kinds of activities but we must think of the book (URL HIDDEN) site. It's still impressive the obstacle course. Breakfast is taken upstairs but with the different groups present or families it's a bit complicated to find its place (French center staff speaks so when one is a little destabilize the world and peoples it's enjoyable ). One can also book irish breakfast. We had a dorm room for 6 people for 4 of us which was nice the view instead. The bathroom is correct (just missing a squeegee to water after a shower). Water is powerful and hot. As the structure welcomes youth groups calmness is entirely made on if you're a light sleeper attention. The center is perfect for visiting the Connemara in all modes and the nature is omnipresent.

The space (hostel) is very nice and clean. We had 2 lovely double bedrooms with bathrooms and the breakfast was nice too. The best part was the scenery and surroundings. Beautiful views of the ocean and the cliffs. It was a lovely experience.

Location meravigliosa affacciata sul fiordo, spettacolo della natura. La struttura e' di quelle che organizzano i campi estivi multisport per i ragazzi quindi può capitare, come e' successo a noi, di imbattersi in gruppi di ragazzini provenienti un po da tutte le parti. Le camere sono belle e spaziose ed il personale gentile e disponibile: noi abbiamo avuto necessità di fare un paio di richieste e loro ci hanno sempre appoggiato e risolto. Colazione piuttosto standard in comunione con i ragazzi che si preparavano per la camminata. Divertente. Unico neo la mancanza di connessione wifi nelle camere, c'era solo negli spazi comuni. Per il resto ci è piaciuto e la consiglieremmo di sicuro

I was just passing through. I wanted a clean overnight room with no frills. It was operated more as a hostel. Staff was super friendly (did not meet Shane or Mary). Slept well on the bed. Could not have asked for more. Location was spectacular. I would absolutely stay again, maybe as more of destination for my 2 adventure loving sons. Thank you.

This place is set in a surreal area of the world - one of the most beautiful places around. It is clear that the building was designed to maximize the view from every window. The view from the room was picturesque! Topped off with lovely, kind staff. I will be back, over and over again!

Man hat das Gefühl wirklich willkommen geheißen zu sein. Deidre ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin, die uns eine sehr große Hilfe war bei allen Fragen, die sich aus dem Aufenthalt in der Einsamkeit da draußen ergeben haben. Unsere Empfehlung: fahrt nicht allzu weit raus. Um das Haus herum gibt es fantastische Möglichkeiten, diese herrliche Landschaft zu erkunden. Man muss weit fahren, um in einen nächsten Ort zu kommen, aber wir sind ja gekommen, um eben genau diese Ruhe und Schönheit zu finden! Auf deutsches Fernsehen muss man leider verzichten (war bei der EM richtig schade). Ansonsten ist es toll, auch bei Regen hier in dieser Panorama-Ecke zu sitzen, gemütlich miteinander zu essen, zu trinken, zu spielen. Für ein paar urige Tage in Irland war es für uns genau das Richtige!

Visited the cottage with a group of friends to do some cycling, swimming and other activities. The area is perfect for this! Deirdre's Cottage is idyllically located next to Killary Fjord. The cottage is beaut and we'll furnished. Located down a quiet country lane which leaves you away from everything in a magical recess of Connemara. Deirdre herself is very attentive and communicates very clearly which is important as the cottage is quite a bit away from a town. Upon arrival she greeted us and had home made cake and her own chicken's eggs on the table for us. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Bundorragha Cottage. Deirdre provided clear directions to the property and even greeted us with a freshly baked cake and eggs from her chickens! The location is perfect and the property is clean and spacious. We hope to return again soon!

We have just had the most wonderful week staying at Bundorragha Cottage. On arrival we were greeted by Deirdre, fresh eggs from her chickens and a homemade cake. The cottage is delightful, plenty of space, a cosy lounge with a wood burning stove and supply of peat (love the smell). The setting is spectacular. The cottage looks out over a river which runs into a tidal pool, you stroll round the corner to the pier and look out over Killary fjord, there are mountains all around and you could spend a week just watching the sun, clouds and weather shift over the landscape. You will need a car. This setting is about the opportunity to be in the awesome landscape. There are pubs and shops but you have to drive. There are spectacular beaches and numerous little islands. There is seafood and soda bread. We can't wait to go back.

Our stay at Bundorragha was great and completely lived up to our expectations. This part of Ireland is unspoilt and very diverse. The house is perfect for families to share and Deirdre made us feel very welcome by leaving a freshly made cake and some eggs from her chickens.

I highly recommend to spend a week at least in Deirdre cottage. The view is amazing and it changes every morning. The cottage is located on killary fjord, it's the unique fjord in Irland. We did not realised that before booking, we have been lucky. Every night when we were back to the cottage we were always amazed by our view, it's definitely the best spot we have seen during the week. The cottage is absolutely stunning ! Well equiped with a very big kitchen, a nice and cosy living Room. There are 3 bathrooms which is very comfortable when the house is full. Deirdre is such a nice person, she offered eggs from the chickens and fresh homemade bread every morning, awesome ! Don't hesitate, go for it !!!!

We stayed 3 nights at Deirdre's cottage with a group of 7 and absolutely loved it. From the moment we enquired about the cottage, Deirdre has been extremely helpful and available to answer any of our questions / help us with our journey (we visited some amazing places on her advices). The cottage itself is spacious, extremely comfy and well decorated, surrounded by the stunning Connemara hills and lakes. We clearly could'nt have made a better choice!

This house was a perfect place for a mountain getaway. It is tucked away in the most beautiful hidden valley. You can enjoy the best of Connemara right outside the cottage, and it is a prime location to get out for easy day trips all around the region. Joe was extremely helpful providing us information and recommendations of the area. The house itself was sweet, comfortable, and clean with a amazing views. Can't wait to return!

A delightful cottage in a delightful location! My partner and I spent a wonderful 3-night break here over New Year, the cottage was a perfect base for our exploring in Galway & Mayo. Communication with Joe was great - as we were so busy out & about we didn't get a chance to meet him but he emailed us everything we needed to know, including detailed directions to the cottage. The heating was on in readiness for our arrival and local maps, recommendations for walks and details of local places to eat & drink were also provided. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything we could need and the availability of wifi was greatly appreciated as mobile signal was zero! Plenty of fuel was provided for the open fire which was very cosy at nighttime. There was lots of room and the double bed was comfortable. The views from the front windows were beautiful, right down to the lake and on the clear nights, the view of the stars was beyond amazing. Had we stayed longer, we'd have loved to take the boat out & do some fishing but 3 days sadly just weren't enough! The landscape & scenery all around are spectacular and within just an hour or so's drive we went to stunningly beautiful beaches, waterfalls, lakes & mountains. This property is in a wonderful part of the world, I have no hesitation in highly recommending the accommodation or the location.

Joe's cottage is simply amazing, the views and sceneries just breathtaking.... If you like secluded you are going to love Joe's cottage. We had the best family reunion there. The cottage was so well equipped for cooking, all bed linen and towels were provided in numbers. So was the turf, wood and kindling for the open fire. So the cottage really offered all the warmth and comfort of a real family home in an amazing natural setting. One of the best cottage we ever rented without a doubt. Joe even had a welcome basket for us on the table when we arrive with local food and products, and even a Christmas Tree in the hall. Thanks for everything!

Die Lage des Hauses ist schön: Der Berghang inmitten der Schafe und gut aufgestellt, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Einrichtung ist ordentlich. Zünden Sie den Kamin nach einem Tag zu Fuß ist Spaß! Empfohlene Ort!

The Artist Cottage befindet sich in The Fabulous Maam valley.The Wochenende gelegen wir besuchten, war nass, und die Hütte zur Verfügung gestellt eine warme, gemütliche willkommen von der Außenwelt. Die "Welcome Folder" auf dem Küchentisch ist gut erforscht, und gab uns eine Anleitung, was im Angebot zu tun, und was in der Gegend war. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder, wie wir Wanderer sind, und es ist perfekt für diese vergangene Zeit gelegen

Wir waren hier für 4 Nächte. 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Der Ort ist schön und ich kann ehrlich sagen, dass die Fotos tun es nicht Gerechtigkeit. Fabelhafte Lage. Warm gemütliches Haus. Sehr gut ausgestattet und makellos sauber. Wir haben treffen Helen nicht, aber wir haben nicht das Gefühl, wir mussten. Das Informationspaket, das übrig blieb war viel besser als hilfreich mit allem, was man in sie wissen musste, und sie ist nur einen Anruf entfernt. Wir hatten ein 1 Jahr alt und 3 Jahre alt. Wer liebte sowohl den Ort. Das einzige, was ich sagen würde, ist es nicht besonders für Kleinkinder ausgerichtet. Keine Reisebett oder Hochstuhl zur Verfügung gestellt, nur keine Badewanne Dusche und viele schöne Verzierungen, die ein Baby dort die Hände würde gerne auf zu bekommen, aber wir wussten, dass dies vor der Buchung so war kein Problem nur könnte es auch für andere Gäste. Auch Treppen sind sehr rutschig mit Socken auf. Alles in allem fanden wir dieses kleine Häuschen. Ein echtes Juwel von einem Hotel und würde auf jeden Fall zu 100% zurückgehen.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in mam. Das Haus war schön und gemütlich, in einem ruhigen Tal, die perfekte Entspannung. Die Lage ist ideal für Connemara mit dem Auto zu erkunden. Wunderschöne Strände in der Nähe. Wenn Sie von ihm erhalten möchten weg alle seine der perfekte Ort.

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren 4-tägigen Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Ferienhaus. Es ist gut ausgestattet und fantastisch gelegen, um die besten zu erkunden, dass der Westen zu bieten hat. Alles, was Sie brauchen, ist im Haus und es gibt reichlich Anleitung, wie die Dinge im Haus zu arbeiten. Maam ist ein schönes Dorf in der Nähe. Helen war mehr als eine Freude, mit den Aufenthalt arraigning. Ehrlich gesagt, es gibt nichts Negatives zu sagen über diesen Ort.

Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet mit alles, was Sie brauchen für das Kochen ausgestattet, Wäsche, usw. Warm und sehr komfortabel. Es liegt in einer ländlichen Straße umgeben von Bauernhöfen gelegen, so dass am Morgen das einzige, was Sie hören, die Schafe und die Vögel sind. Sie werden eine tolle Aussicht auf die Berge von der Hütte und der Umgebung bekommen. Es ist sehr praktisch Ort, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten besuchen, die Connemara Angebote

Helen ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin und alle unsere Fragen beantwortet gerne. Das Haus ist perfekt, die Lage ist perfekt. Sie müssen, dass auch auf dem lokalen Geschäft oder Pub vorbereitet werden Sie fahren müssen, was nicht zu mir faze haben aber können einige Leute. Die ganze Gegend ist wirklich wunderschön.

Obwohl wir haben Helen nicht treffen, sie begrüßte uns in ihren Schriften und mit dem sehr gut gereinigt Häuschen. Ein schöner Ort für Weihnachten in einer fantastischen Umgebung zu bleiben.
