Anne was very quick to respond and welcomed us with very short notice which was highly appreciated. She was a very generous, helpful host, and provided a delicious homemade breakfast. I had a great week staying with Anne and her gorgeous cats. The house is lovely and comfortable, and I really enjoyed the spa and sauna! Anne is extremely friendly and provides a very cosy feeling to your holiday.

Anne made me feel very welcome. We stayed up late talking over a cuppa, I found Anne easy to talk to. The bedroom is upstairs and has a lovely outlook. I slept with the curtains open so I could see the stars at night. I found the bed very comfortable and had a great sleep. The area Anne has created outside is amazing. I will have try the outdoor shower next time. I could easily stay their again.

Very nice, clean and tidy little house, close to the centre of Bellingen. Excellent communication with Christine who was very helpful. A lovely back veranda on which to watch the birdlife and the light and shadows crossing the mountains. Happy to recommend this fairly basic but comfortable little house.

Thank you, Christine for allowing us to stay in your delightful cottage over the weekend. There were four of us keen to spend time in Bellingen checking out the markets, shops, restaurants and the beautiful local surrounds. The cottage was as described, however, we were very impressed with the provisions that Christine had left for us. The cottage is cute, clean and has everything you need. We cooked one night and for two breakfasts with us spending most of our time there on the sizeable balcony overlooking the garden. Bellingen was just over a kilometre away and a pleasant walk if you're up for that. Excellent place and thorough recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in beautiful Belo. Christine was a very attentive host. The accommodation was in a beautiful location about a 20 minute walk into town. We would definitely recommend it.

This gorgeous property is surrounded by lush, green rainforest and gives the feeling of being far away from everything. With the soothing sound of the river nearby you could be forgiven for thinking you had been transported to some kind of paradise from The Land Before Time. John's care and connection to the land and our Indigenous first Australians is inspiring and he is full of interesting knowledge. Situated next door to the main property, John is close by if you want a chat or any local tips, yet you can easily forget anybody is nearby given the seclusion of the property. The garden has several lovely little places to sit and take in the beauty, or for quiet reflection. Or you could wander to the river and sit aside a rock and pretend you're the only one in the universe.

John is a stand up guy who ticks all the boxes as an AirBnB host. The location is close enough to check out the goings on in Bellingen, whilst also being removed enough to allow you to privately engage with the landscape. No need to mention what a wonderful companion Snooki is! Thanks for the wonderful weekend

A great location,quiet yet central.

Such a gorgeous cottage in a great location! Easy walk to shops and cafes. I stayed with my husband and two daughters. Great place for a family. Has everything you need. It was very hot the first day we arrived but house was made comfortable with aircon and fans in each room. I highly recommend this place to stay.

We made a last minute booking and it was quickly and easily confirmed. We just loved our stay and will be back again!! The cottage is beautiful with so many restored original features and furnishings. It was quite magical. The rooms were clean and light and the kitchen was well equipped. Gene was a wonderful and welcoming host who has lived in Bellingen for many years and was happy to share her knowlege of the area. Walking distance to Cafes and the river which made the location perfect. The Wifi was a bonus too. We cant recommend this place enough! Its even better than it looks in the pictures!

Stunning view in a peaceful location close to Bellingen. Great record collection to bring back old memories. Good selection of board games as well. Tank water restrictions may have lead to the bed linen not being replaced between guests. Everything else acceptable with a comfortable, homely feel.

Four friends stayed at Ursula's rustic country house with our dog and we had a great time. We loved the record collection and reminisced as we listened to the hits of the eighties. The view is beautiful from the deck and we had a lovely brunch, cooked up on the weber and in the easy to use kitchen. Ursula was very kind in her communication and generous with a late check out.

Such a restful, relaxing place with spectacular views of mountains. Very comfortable. Close to shops of Bellingen. Country feel but also close enough to the coast for swims if you want something different to the local river and waterholes.

The stay we had was amazing in such a peaceful location. The timber chalet had everything required for the three of us which even included air conditioning. The town was also beautiful and only took ten to walk into some amazing places to eat. Thanks for making our stay amazing!

This was a wonderfully relaxing stay in Bellingen. Erika and Lionel were extremely welcoming, something we needed after a long drive. The chalets are very close to the centre of Bellingen and yet feel like they are in the middle of nowhere. It was great to walk to the local cafes and boutiques, and then feel we were escaping them. Clean, stylish and comfortable.

Erika greeted us warmly & made us feel most welcome & at home. The accommodation is really comfy, with everything that you need, plus an amazing view over the garden with so many wonderful birds coming to visit on the deck. This place is a real treat.

We spent 3 lovely nights at Koompartoo - in the treetops. Beautifully clean and tidy and Erika was so lovely and very accommodating. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Absolutely gorgeous, utterly relaxing and lovely in every way. Beautiful accommodation - such attention to detail in the cosy timber cabin... and so many gorgeous birds and trees to wake up to made it so relaxing. We really enjoyed our lazy evenings on the verandah, cooking a BBQ and watching the evening draw in. So convenient for town too, and lots of great wandering. We had such a lovely time, and look forward to coming back again. Highly recommended!

Potters warehouse is a fabulous, stylish and very comfortable place. John and his wife were very accommodating and friendly and easily contactable. The place is very well designed! The king size beds were very comfortable, and also the futon. The bedrooms are spacious. The two balconies are perfect for a morning coffee or afternoon drinks! The location is perfect! Cafe right below the apartment, and walking distance from other cafes, IGA, bottle shops, and the river to swim in! Bellingen is a gorgeous little town. Highly recommend staying here!! Will definitely come back

We had high expectations based on other reviews and the other reviews are spot on. John and Phuc are gracious and friendly hosts. The warehouse apartment is very spacious, comfortable and impeccably prepared. The apartment is centrally located and yet due to the large size with generous balconies and trees the apartment feels very private. We loved our stay and plan to return. Highly recommended.

We stayed at John's Potters Warehouse during the Bello Winter Music Festival. John was a very welcoming host who was on hand if we needed him during our stay. Situated in an excellent position to walk to the many cafes, restaurants and shops within Bellingen. Very spacious, comfortable and a relaxing stay was had in this unique Air BnB beautifully renovated by John. Stunning views over to the hills added to our weekend away.

We stayed at Maureen's home for one night on our way up the coast. It was a perfect little sanctuary walking distance away from the Bellingen shops. Maureen was very lovely and helpful telling us about the best brekky in town and providing a portable cot for our little baby boy. Great deck looking out over her big garden to enjoy a cup of tea and sit back and relax.

Beautiful property on the Bellingen river. Great experience with comfortable accommodation. Jody and Daniel were lovely hosts and the breakfast on the deck each morning was wonderful.

The Hostess was not at the property when we arrived. We were directed over the phone along a winding path to a small building like a toilet block and said to open the blue door with no lock or handle on and a picture of a man and woman and toilet written on the door. Not a good look for accommodation to have to go through a public toilet door to get to it. On the left was an open door, there was a well appointed bathroom. We entered and saw the floor was covered in dirty footprints. The shower glass was not cleaned, the toilet seat was up and the pan was filthy and the sink was dirty and the plug hole had mouldy gunk around it. The bedroom shag pile rug was not vacuumed. The kettle had slimy water in it. A glass was half filled with water as if someone had drank from it. There was a vase of half dead flowers in slimy water. The bed was made up. There was no TV. The heater had an 18 minute timer on it so it went off constantly and as it was 6 degrees it was a really cold evening spent there. We called the Hostess asking for some cleaning products - and to her credit her response was rapid and she arrived with her arms full of cleaning products. We left and arrived back a couple of hours later. The place had been cleaned and smelt of bleach. A second blow heater had been put into the bathroom, and a TV put into the bedroom. The location, gardens and scenery are all very green and lovely. Seriously though this place is only suitable for backpackers or for a schoolies weekend. In our opinion it is way overpriced.

We LOVED our time at the Bellingen Vintage Farmstay. We arrived late in the night after travelling with a 2 year old, and arrived feeling welcomed by Susan. The place heated up quickly thanks to the fire and A/C, clean linen and towels were provided and the general vibe of the house was just what we needed. Susan had left plenty of explanations for the area, the property, and even offered an early morning chicken and egg run for our daughter. We roamed the property freely saying hello to the friendly horses, cows and chickens and loved being so close to the gorgeous town that is Bellingen, but far enough away to feel at one with nature. Great coffee, groceries and country style shops in town, with one or two Sydney style boutiques stocking labels I recognised from the big smoke. We would happily return here in a heart beat xxx

My husband, two daughters (9 &11) had a beautiful time in bellingen at the funny farm! I highly recommend this lovely little house! It is a wonderful launching pad for enjoying the wonderful town (make reservations!!), beaches (valla was amazing) or just relaxing and playing games at the house. The hosts were beyond lovely inviting us for a trampoline jump and gifting us fresh farm eggs. We highly recommend the vintage farm and enjoyed all of it!!

Alice's place is set at the end of a short street in a quiet area of Bellingen only one minute from the high school and a couple of minutes from town. It sits in a well-maintained yard and is surrounded on two sides by cow paddocks and the cows may be heard lowing during the night. The character-filled house has a variety of sleeping areas, several in the form of 'sleep-outs' which were created when verandah's were built in. The beds were comfortable and there were enough to sleep a large family or extended family. The kitchen has air conditioning and there are ceiling fans in the two main bedrooms (a must in Bellingen in summer!). There are many books (some in French) and quite a range of DVDs to choose from. The open area downstairs is good if the weather is too wet to get out. Having wifi was great. If you are a keen chef, you may want to bring along your own mixer, but other than that the kitchen had all we needed in it, as did the rest of the house (dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, car port, DVD player etc.). There is a single full bathroom upstairs and another downstairs. The highlight of our stay were the nightly visits of two large green tree frogs on the verandah. We also enjoyed watching the flying foxes set out at dusk.

We spent a wonderful few days in Le Cayron. The house has real charm and loads of character with book lined walls, art work, music and some very interesting architectural features throughout. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out, and the house was well equipped. We enjoyed the views across the cow paddocks to the mist enshrouded escarpment. There was an almighty thunder storm one night, but we were safe and snug in our beds. The Butter Factory is a short stroll away where you can shop and grab a bite to eat, and the town of Bellingen is within easy walking distance. Next time we are in town, we will be sure to come back to stay. Thank you Alice for opening your home to us :)

The house was really cute. In a great location and plenty of room to fit us all. The beds where super comfy, plenty of wood for the fire. Would go back and stay again. Would have loved internet access.

The house was very welcoming and homely which a great aspect and perfect distance from town but only one minute to get a great meal and coffee. I would definitely stay there again. Great family home with lots of space for kids to play and right on the river to throw a line in for fishing. Loved it!!

Enjoyed our long weekend in this comfortable and eclectic home. If you enjoy the character of older homes as we do, it is worth your consideration. Just 100m to breakfast and a 1km to town, and what a great town - Bellingen.

House has lots of space and nice views of the water meadows. Alice seems a lovely person however there are quite a few improvements needed for this money. The mattresses are decrepit and the bedding should have been replaced long ago. We went in winter and the house was freezing. The fire was ineffective and only one of the electric heaters semi worked. The dust made breathing difficult for my wife and son whose asthma was triggered. Location good for the Bellingen valley and good DVD collection but not enough to make up for other issues.

This is a beautiful old home with lots of character. We did find it expensive at the weekend rate but it was worth it anyway. Love the close proximity to the butter factory and country outlook. Bikes had flat tires though and were not able to be pumped up.

Alice's home is spacious and had all the facilities we needed. The outdoor area is beautiful and green, and the cows entertained the toddler.

Staying at Jaynes house in Bellingen was like being in a private Bali spa retreat. It was absolute luxury surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden. It's very private and Jayne has thought of everything. We spent many hours on the deck with a BBQ enjoying a fabulous Christmas holiday with our family.

We stayed for three nights in the beautifully appointed house. Everything was perfect - extremely comfortable living area and bedrooms. Kitchen and bathroom facilities just lovely.

Had a lovely week at Ayarpata - beautiful house, thoughtfully decorated and appointed. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The tropical garden is stunning, and one can appreciate the care that must have gone into it - very inspirational. It's a great location - private, quiet, and a lovely walk into town. Will be back.

What a beautiful house, even nicer than the pictures! We spent lazy days on the balcony and swimming in the river (lovely spot only 5 minutes walk away, and a short drive to the Promised Land for pristine water holes). I'm sure you could get directions from any of the friendly local cafes or shops. We enjoyed great food and live music, and it was a great base to explore the stunning countryside from.

We spent a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing 3 days in Ayaparta, exploring Bellingen & Dorrigo. The house is amazing- just the right amount of everything - privacy, location to town and surrounds. A great place to unwind. Jayne was easy to communicate with and ensured that we had everything.

A beautiful house, with tropical gardens. We appreciated the quality appliances and enjoyed cooking at the house and eating on the lovely deck. A perfect getaway with another couple. Bellingen is stunning and there is plenty to do so we will be back.

Bellingen is charming and so is Charlotte's cottage. It has everything needed. Being surrounded by nature it's also very peaceful. We spent evening's around a fire, star gazing the clear night skies and slept deeply due to the secluded silence. Charlotte is an endearing lady who makes you feel so welcome.

The Honeymoon Cottage was the perfect retreat to relax, unwind and be surrounded by nature. The Cottage was newly renovated so we experienced all the luxury comforts but in a rustic setting. Fully equipped including breakfast! Had it been winter we would have definitely lit up he fireplace. Plus Charlotte was a fantastic host and ensured we had everything we needed. Lots of benefits including a fresh water pool and the beautiful town center of Bellingen a short drive or pleasant walk.

I nostri due ragazzi (6 e 2) apprezzato il loro soggiorno troppo. Bellingen è un bel posto e abbiamo caduto in amore con il ritmo rilassato e la gente cordiale. La casa era perfetta per tornare a casa dopo una lunga giornata al mercato fantastico e il bagno nel fiume. Grazie ancora. Ci sarebbe sicuramente.
