Wir haben unseren ersten Trip durch Norwegen ruhig beginnen wollen - das war hier perfekt möglich. Vom tiptop ausgestatteten Apartment, den hilfreichen Tips über eine Kajaktour auf dem Fjord ist alles super gelaufen. Nach Oslo kann man mit Bus oder Bus+Zug in ca. 40 min. Anne-Merete ist sehr sympathisch und offen.

This is a great little flat in a beautiful water-side suburban enclave outside Oslo. If you like architecture or anything maritime I'd encourage you to stay just to check out all the amazing homes and yachts around the water, especially across the way on the island of Nesøya. I hired a kayak from Anne-Merete and paddled around, which was great. Good for walks around the waterfront and swimming in summer. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you don't have a car. We bit off a bit more than we could chew walking to and fro from the bus stop to get around - but it is doable, probably better if you don't have a two-year old and pram. Anne-Merete was a great host, very helpful and communicative.

Very nice experience. Nice location in a fjord. We can see the sea and boats from the living room. The flat was clean, comfortable and very quite. I could park my car easily.

My family (my wife and my little son) and I spent a few just wonderful days at Anne-Marete's apartment. We were welcomed very warmly and friendly. The apartment is beautifully renovated with a cosy sofa, a little kitchen and a brand new tv. One of the best things about the apartment, besides the fact that you can enjoy a beautiful view over the little bay and marina, is that just everything is there. Washing powder and mashine, salt, pepper, even muesli, coffe, tea...you name it! This makes life a lot easier when you are travelling. And exactly these things made us feel very comfortable and just like home away from home ;) Anne-Marete and her very helpful husband were also always reachable by phone or in person whenever we had questions. They even organized a sleeping cod (kids bed) for our son!!! We definitely would have stayed longer if that had been possible. Bus connection to Oslo is good, but a bit of a walk to the busstop. With good weather, no problem, though. Very, very recommendable place to stay.

We had a great stay at Evi's place. It's clean and nice and Evi and her boyfriend were very friendly and helpful.

I was lucky to get this flat which was boon in many ways. The flat is in a very quiet neighbourhood and was near to my course centre. The room was clean, spacious, and very well furnished. The flat itself shared the same attributes, with a lovely kitchen, inviting living room & balcony. In terms of location it couldn't be better. Only a short walk to the closest railway station so getting to sandvika centrum was only about a 15 min walk via park. Evi & Robert were incredibly helpful, flexible and accommodating, providing us tips on where to go and what to see and more importantly how to get there. Easily one of the best accommodation I've ever stayed in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Charming bedroom in a very nice house on the heights besides Sandvika. Quiet neighbourhood, stunning view, nice family! The house is big enough in order for it to not feel crowded. About 10 minutes walking from Sandvika station, where you can take the regional express to Oslo central station (4 stops, 20 minutes).

Jannicke summer house at little village Vollen marina was just what I always dreamt of. House is furnished very lovely in a vintage American style with white wooden fully equipt kitchen. For me this was a marvelous experience as I needed to stay for four days, that including a weekend. This place is so spacious and clean and besides feeling yourself in the middle of world's art, is located in a peaceful area and for, I think, the best price considering the cost of living in Norway. I fully recommend this place and the kindness of Ellen for everyone who is visiting Oslo or the surrounding area!!

Pippip is very polite, humble and nice host.She responded to all my questions quickly. I spent 4 very nice days in Pippip ' studio/apartment. It's not only a apartment but also its a beautiful studio/workshop with exclusive hand made art/picture gallery showing a life underwater world, diving faces and different sculptures. The apartment is situated in a quiet side street with garden, trees and green grass all over from bedroom view.The kitchen is well equipped. I enjoyed my stay and recommend it highly for single/couple' stay.

Edvin's communication was very good and he replied to any request very quickly. The apartment has been newly renovated and is actually better than described or in the photos. It has all mod cons and everything worked as it should. It is a very quiet location although close to the motorway. It has a very nice view over the marina. Edvin is very helpful and respectful and I would definitely stay again. I am very happy to recommend both Edvin and his apartment.

The BEST AirBnB experience! Margaret is a wonderful host and the flat is in a stunning location with amazing views. The flat is well equipped,cosy and very close to the local buses and a boat ( about 45min from Oslo). We would recommend staying at Margaret's when visiting Oslo, it is in a beautiful and quiet location, great after a long day of sightseeing. Bus stop and a supermarket only about 3 min away. The best way to pay for your transport there is to get an Oslo Pass, which covers public transport in Oslo and Asker area. Thank you again for hosting and making our visit so special!

Margrets Flat is a very beautiful and quite place to stay, if you visit Oslo. She has everything in best condition. The Flat is equiped with so much love and personal style, a great sense for the personal details and with every information you need. She herself lives in the same house, a very kind, warm and and helpfull person. We loved the few days at her place and were said to leave.

Margret's apartment is perfect! The place meet everything that you need. It is well-equiped, very closed to supermarket, bus stop and ferry, as well as amazing view of Oslofjord. Magret is the best host I've ever met too. She spent a lot of information in English, and available to help even to print my boarding pass! Thank you again for your hospitable help. This is THE place to stay! We stayed here only for one night, but we would definitely recommend Tiina's house! She gave us a very warm welcoming, with a tea and some nice chat together..this was the perfect way to finish our vacation in Norway! The house is very beautiful and cozy, with a nice balcony. The communication with Tiina has been great before and during our stay. The house has a calm neighborhood, and it is not in the centre, but in 15/20 minutes maximum you can reach it.

Tiina was the most welcoming host you could want, and we parted as friends. She shares her lovely home with a generous and worldly attitude - we really enjoyed our brief time there and we hope that she will visit us in Canada!

The place is great with a very playful cat and a friendly and kind host. Cat sometimes comes for a cuddle, therefore it's important for people planning to stay to like cats and be friendly. The host provides with all the essential amenities and ready to help if anything required. I appreciate a lot how the host responded to my inquiries and assisted in everything I needed during my stay. The location is great, especially if someone is looking for a quiet and green environment. It is only 15-20 minute walk from the forest and Oslofjord with many recreational activities like kayaking, canoeing and fishing. The city centre is easily accessible by bus which stops locally and comes regularly. It was a pleasure to stay and I highly recommend this place.

Awesome little room in a shared flat, access to all the amenities and everything was in good working order. Homemade Estonian sourdough bread was delicious and the cats were very friendly. About a minute away from the bus stop that takes you right in to the centre of Oslo, or to shops in Sandvika, so great location. Would definitely recommend staying.

Man ist schnell im Stadtzentrum, auf der Autobahn oder am ruhigen Oslofjord, wo man spazieren gehen kann. Dag hat uns freundlich empfangen. Für Fragen war er jederzeit ansprechbar. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Vielen Dank, Dag! We have been as a family with 3 young children for almost 2 weeks at Dag's home. We felt very comfortable there. The atmosphere is bright and friendly. The terrace and garden offer plenty of space to play, romp and relax. Its location was ideal for our purposes. One is fast in the city center, on the highway or on the peaceful Oslo Fjord, where you can walk. Dag has received us warmly. For questions he was always approachable. We are happy to come back. Meine kleine Familie und ich hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Dags Haus. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und bietet reichlich Platz, nicht zuletzt auch wegen der schönen Terrasse und dem Garten. Dag war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Haus ist perfekt für eine Familie. Gute und zentrale Lage am Stadtrand von Oslo. Gute Anbindung an Bus und Bahn. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Das Haus bildet Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, ein großes Wohnzimmer, großzügige Schlafräume und eine tolle Terrasse. So stellt man sich die Blockhütten in Norwegen vor.

Dags Unterkunft ist wunderbar hell und freundlich und verfügt über alles, was man so im täglichen Gebrauch benötigt. Dag selbst sah einmal kurz herein um Hallo zu sagen und sich nach unserem Befinden zu erkundigen. Sehr freundlich! Die Unterkunft liegt, wie beschrieben, etwas außerhalb mit schönem großen und gepflegten Garten. Wir sind, trotz der unmittelbar in der Nähe liegenden öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, täglich mit dem Auto nach Oslo gefahren. Das lief wunderbar. Dass die Parkhäuser teuer sind war uns bewusst und haben wir in kauf genommen.

Dags Haus liegt ruhig und im Grünen in einem Vorort von Oslo. Es ist stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Der Bus in den Innenstadt hält um die Ecke - perfekt. Dag ist ein hilfsbereiter, netter Typ. Wir waren mit unseren bewegungsfreudigen Jungen unterwegs, so dass es ideal war, den Garten nutzen zu können. Thank you Dag.

Wir waren drei Erwachsene und zwei heranwachsende Jugendliche. Dafür bot das haus genügend Platz. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist Ideal, für alle die nicht direkt in der City wohnen sondern auch Phasen der Ruhe genießen wollen.

Sehr gemütliches Haus, in dem man sich gleich wohl fühlt. Viel Platz im Haus und im Garten, schöne Terrasse. Es war alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. Die Bushaltestelle nach Oslo ist nur 3 Minuten entfernt und fährt alle 15 Minuten. So ist man in 20 Minuten mitten in Oslo. Dag ist sehr unkompliziert, hilfsbereit und nicht aus der Ruhe zu bringen. Vor der Türe stehen drei Räder, mit denen man die Umgebung erkunden kann. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

Ich habe bei Camilla am Abend vor unserer Ankunft angefragt, ob es möglich ist, dass wir ein paar Tage bei ihr bleiben können und sie hat mir sehr schnell geantwortet. Das Appartment ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Im Kühlschrank war sogar Butter und Marmelade und auch Knäckebrot war vorhanden. Alles sehr liebevoll! Camilla war bei unserer Ankunft nicht da (ihre Tochter hat uns das Appartment gezeigt), aber sie hat uns gleich nach unserer Ankunft per Mail kontaktiert und einige Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Auch durfte ich mit meinem Auto vor ihrer Garage parken. Camillas Haus liegt zwar etwas außerhalb von Oslo, aber ist mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut zu erreichen. Ein Oslo Pass (kann auch vor Ort online über die App gekauft werden) ist hier sinnvoll, da das Busticket somit abgedeckt ist. Die Bushaltestelle ist zwar ein paar Gehminuten entfernt, aber für diese Unterkunft kann man gerne ein paar Meter auf sich nehmen, zumal die Gegend in der Camilla wohnt sehr schön und typisch norwegisch ist. Ich würde Camillas Appartment jedem empfehlen, der für ein paar Tage Oslo besuchen möchte.

They offer to you a very clean appartment, and they presented everythings in the neighbourhood The appartement is at 30min to the center but at 300meters to the beach! So quiet and peacefull place. Camilla was very welcoming and helpful with local knowledge and advice for how to get around. Our son loved playing with her dogs and chickens and she took us to the train station when it was time to leave. We really enjoyed our time there. Close to the water and lovely walking tracks and beaches.

Staying at the Charming Basement apartment was wonderful. Camilla and her husband picked me up from the train station and drove me to their wonderful house in a delightful neighborhood. Everything was in tip top shape (like in the pictures), easy access to a secluded beach near by and 10 min walk to store and bus stop. Camilla is an easy going thoughtful and pleasant person and I will definitely ask to stay there again when I am in that area.

Superb! Camilla picked us up at the train station where she had to wait until 1am and then drove us to her place. As if that want enough, the basement is real nice, roomy and comfortable, and Camilla was available and helpful throughout our stay. The bus stop is very close by and so is a large shopping mall. Definitely the place to stay in Oslo. 5 stars!!!

Wij zijn net terug van een week in het zomerhuisje van Espen. Het was een geweldige vakantie, ontzettend fijne plek, leuk knus huisje met kachel en heerlijk ruime tuin en boomgaard, mooi uitzicht over het fjord. Wij hadden veel geluk met het weer, elke dag volop zon. Er is alleen een (warme) buitendouche wat een bijzondere ervaring is met zo'n prachtig uitzicht. Het eiland is autovrij, heel relaxed en mooie natuur.

Nok en deilig helg på dette fantastiske stedet. Det meste er sagt av andre besøkende (inkl meg selv), men det bør nevnes at Brønnøya er perfekt for løping, mange km med flotte grusveier. Så kan man hive seg i sjøen etterpå. Ypperlig sted for å kombinere familieliv og training camp. Fint å være her også på sensommern, massevis av digge epler!

Thank you Espen for a wonderful opportunity to explore Brønnøya island. I arrived there with 3 of my girls and we had long chats in the evenings by the fire place, looking at the sea, chatting and having nice meal. We did not meet Espen in person, but we had good communication on the phone. We were welcomed with a bowl of strawberries and flowers and the cabin looked like a little dream for the weekend. I will definitely consider to come back there and lay down on hammock with a book one day.

Great place for relaxing days!

A trip to Espen's cabin is to step off the treadmill of normal life and disappear to a lovely hideaway. With the fjord a few steps away, and no cars or wifi, there is every reason to explore and find whatever you love about the great outdoors. Stock the fridge, and settle in to enjoy the pretty views and the simple pleasures. Espen was ever helpful, and happy to let us use his boats, barbecues, etc. You get the feeling that his family and friends have had lots of good times in the cabin, and it rubs off! Overall our stay gave us the best of the airbnb experience - a home from home, and a glimpse into another way of life.

We had a great time here! Wonderful view. We stayed for 2 nights with our baby boy and 3 year old girl. Perfect place to see Oslo. Ingvild is a lovely woman, who helped us with everythjng we needed. We definitely recommend this place.

Great house and location for those who do not wish to be in the city centre. It is approx. 20 mins by train into the centre of Oslo and the train runs every 15 minutes. The views from the house are fantastic and there is a woodland directly at the back. Ingvild was a great host with prompt replies to any of our queries prior to our arrival,unfortunately we only met her briefly as she was heading away but left us with contact numbers etc in her absence. I would highly recommend this place.

Ingvild is such a sweet lady and before I even got there she gave me a lot of helpful information, for example which train to take and time schedule. She picked me up from the train station, since I arrived at 6 pm. The apartment in real is even so much nicer, amazing view that is hard to capture on a picture. The area is upscale with beautiful homes. Very safe. She also had coffee, tea, bread, crackers, nuts and juice/soda. Shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer, washing powder as well. The apartment is just very cute, cosy and clean. Really nice bed, matress and linnen, towels. Internet connection is great and lots of tv channels. It was -10 when I arrived, but the apartment temperature is so good, you wouldn't know. Even the floors not cold at all.

Super séjour chez Ingvild. Elle nous a donné des renseignements sur les transports vers Oslo et les choses à faire dans et autour d'Oslo. Appartement spacieux, clair et très agréable. Situé à 10 mn à pied de la gare; le train vaau centre d'Oslo en 15 / 20 mn. Location vivement recommandée!

I had a great stay at Trine and Håkons place. They have a very nice and clean apartment in quiet surroundings, very close to the mall and with easy access to Oslo with bus and train. The cats are adorable!

Tq Trine and Håkon for being such a great host. I did enjoy my stay there. Is easy to get what u need since there is a mall nearby and it only takes u 10 mins walk to get there. I highly recommend this place for travellers.

Trine and Hakon made every effort to make us welcome and relaxed. Their home is only small but we managed to share with them for an extended period. We are very happy to recommend this place to stay.

Our stay with Trine and Håkon was great! Their apartment ist really nice and the bed in the small guestroom super comfortable. We were allowed to use the kitchen and the living room (TV) as well, even though both were already gone to work. With Airbnb you expect a nice place to stay that's clean. Often the host is nice and the location really amazing. Kari's place is all of that and more. But best of all, she is an amazing host and an genuinely interesting and interested person, you will want to get to know. I strongly recommend Kari's place for somebody who is looking for a nice, quiet retreat, on an island without cars, but still close enough to Oslo to be able to visit it easily.

Me and my friend had a fantastic time at Kari's place! her house is on an small island close to oslo (<1.30h from airport with public transport) and has everything you need! we went swimming, walking and Kari let us use her Kayaks to explore the surroundings. it was peaceful and a fantastic getaway for a far too short weekend! Kari was extremely helpful and kind, and we enjoyed talking to her so much! we definitely gained a new friend on this trip and hopefully be able to come back again! thanks Kari!

I arrived Kari's home on the island after three days trekking so that I can stay in a quiet place and have a good rest and recovering soon. I got what I expected! Kari is very helpful and met me at the manual ferry(its a interesting thing for me) to help with my luggage and we talked happily about out traveling and she is a very respectful and lovely writer. I stayed here, with healthy foods which I bought from Kiwi, sleep good and also made some relaxing jogging around the island. Its so well protected and I saw a deer in the morning in the garden looking for food. In the afternoon I sit in the garden and do some reading and sun bathing.

So nice and quiet place. Good location for relaxing.
