John and his wife are great. Once you arrive, they call to make sure you are satisfied with the rental and are very accessible if you have any questions or issues. To boot, the house feels like a home away from home, the set up is amazing, the furniture is comfortable and the house is stocked with every amenity you could think of. Would definitely return!

absolut sauber, bezaubernde Einrichtung, liebevol ausgesuchte Dekoration ohne überladen zu sei, ein sehr gutes Bett, Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer, Kühlschrank, Mikro und Toaster in der Poolarea, grosse Dusche. Ich kann diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen, wer einen ruhigeren Urlaub machen möchte. Ausserdem perfekt ist die Lage zu den Stränden in Manasota, Englewood und Boca Raton/Gasparilla Island. I Like!

Die Unterkunft liegt in Cape Haze in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet und war bestens ausgestattet. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet und wir haben sogar Schokolade zum Valentinstag bekommen. :) Das Bett ist sehr bequem und auch das Bad ist groß mit allem super ausgestattet. Im Außenbereich gibt es einen sehr schönen Pool und der Garten ist hübsch angelegt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen um Ausflüge auf die vorgelagerten Inseln zu unternehmen. Den Strand am Leuchtturm auf Gasparilla Island können wir sehr empfehlen, um Meeresschildkröten zu beobachten.

We really appreciated our night at Shartrina’s cottage. She has made this place very welcoming and cosy for her guests. The house, the garden, the room and the private bathroom are stunning. Shartrina was the most gracious host we could have hoped for! This was our first time using Airbnb and thanks to her incredible care, it won't be our last. Her home is gorgeous and our accommodations were incredible. If you are looking to stay in the area DO NOT HESITATE to book with Shartrina!!

All I can say is, "WOW!" Shartrina's home is like living in a beautiful English cottage! When I pulled up to the outside of her home, I was immediately taken with sheer amazement at the landscaping and gardening that she does! Her home is meticulously clean with everything that you could possibly need. The decor is so charming, it just speaks, "vacation." I literally can't wait to return!

Shartrina s guesthouse is perfect. You have your own entrance, own bathroom and a king size bed. Everything is new, clean, comfortable and cozy. You can feel at home there. You have a Publix store in your neighborhood and the beach is not far away (20 min car). We can recommend it.

The location is perfect to visit Boca Grande. The room is comfortable and clean. Shartrina was very nice, helpful and easy to communicate with, a great time.

House is great - we did not want for a thing! Just a simple walk across the street to enjoy the beach and an easy walk, bike ride or golf cart ride to town or South Beach. Can't wait to return! Remember to hit the grocery store before you get on the island -

This beach front cottage is truly one of a kind. Open the French doors and you're on the beach! Our family of four enjoyed an amazing week. No hotels, no tourist traps, no crowded beaches. They have everything you need at the beach: umbrellas, kids toys, chairs, and blender for your drinks! It's an amazing place on a perfect beach. I recommend it to anyone wanting a family friendly, quiet beach getaway.

We loved staying on the Island and enjoyed most of our stay in this little home. We had issues with the toilet but Karl and Kim took care of us. We will definitely be back in the future. It's a great place to spend quality time with your family.

Arriving on the island was like stepping into paradise. The house sits halfway between the Gulf and the Bay, so you are always only steps from breathtaking views and activities. You walk out onto your spacious second floor covered porch and the only sounds are the birds and the coconut palms swaying in the island breezes. From the heated pool to the paid extras of a golf cart or even a boat, this property provides you and yours with enough amenities to make your time on LGI amazing. John strives to make sure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. The home comes with everything you need, and as John continues to update the property, it will only improve.

Our host John was absolutely wonderful. He made us feel like family on the island. He was so absolutely wonderful. He went above and beyond for my family, and for that I am forever grateful. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. My first airbnb experience, and I would certainly be back to Johns house again.

John is a very good host and person. He picked us up from the mainland as planned, even though we were a little late. He even got me some stuff that I forgot to buy. The house was very clean and better than the pictures. We loved the beach which was only a 2 minutes walk. This was the best way for us to end our Florida trip. Would love to go again and spend a week. Way to go John!!

This island is incredibly beautiful and secluded from the city life and noise we are all a custom to. It was the perfect getaway for my friends and I to relax and have some fun! The house was comfortable, grill was a must, pool was fun, and the golf cart very convenient! I can't put into words how perfect our weekend was.

Great house, great island, great host!

John is am amazing host. I was coming by boat, and I was unclear how to get to his place. He came out and met me in the channel and escorted me !!!! He showed me a lot if places to get by boat . He took us out to see turtles coming ashore to lay eggs. He is just awesome. I will go back and back and back!!!!

Fabulous Tropical Get Away! Coconut Paradise was perfect for our family ranging from 10 months to 74 years old. John was more than accommodating in making sure our time there was perfect. We would stay here again.

John was amazing! Home was so spacious, clean, needs some very minor repairs (one shower head had no mount but was still loving that it was a dual shower!), center of the island made beach and pier access convenient. If possible arrange with John for pickup and dropoff, water taxi guy is rude and charged more than he quoted on the phone. Oh and we loved the pool!

The house is located on the canal in a great location close to town. Convenient to everything we needed. Check in is easy. Scott was great at responding quickly when we had a question. We didn't realize the third bedroom didn't have a closet but the master closet is huge so it wasn't a problem for us.

Beautiful canal home close to everything. Scott went above and beyond to help us upon check out. He sent his neighbor over with jumper cables to help us with our dead battery immediately after I texted him to see if he had jumper cables. We hope to stay again soon!

It was perfect keeping our boat tied up to the dock-we were only a 10 minute boat ride to the Gulf of Mexico and our son loved fishing off the dock! Attending a wedding, I had wanted to stay at a hotel on Boca Grande but my husband really wanted to stay at a house. I am so glad he prevailed! Scott's home was perfect for our needs. The home was so comfortable and inviting for our guests. We loved relaxing outside by the canal and watching boats sail by. I cannot think of one thing we needed that we did not have. But most of all, Scott was wonderful. Before and during our stay if I had any questions or concerns, he addressed them immediately. He could not have been more attentive and responsive. This was only our second Airbnb but it will not be our last. Thank you, Scott!

This canal front beach house was perfect for our family vacation. The amenities were top notch, great appliances, very comfy linens and lots of room to lounge around. We've rented our fair share of beach houses and this one is at the top of our list. Most houses have uncomfortable wicker or rattan furniture but this house has large and comfortable couches and chairs. There was a small issue at the beginning of our stay and Scott went above and beyond to resolve this issue. Beautiful home and Boca Grande is the best spot in FL

Great home and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Perfect spot for fishermen too. Boat dock and quick access to The Pass. Definitely will try and stay here again. Scott was very pro-active too.

My family and I truly enjoyed staying at Ken's house in Placida. It is a lovely home located in a quiet neighborhood yet close to many amazing beaches and attractions - most less than 30 minutes away. Our favorite excursion was the Kayak Boca Grande on Fishery Road in Placida. It is located just a few minutes from the house. We enjoyed the most amazing eco kayak tour that took us through beautiful mangroves and saw much wildlife. Fishery Road also has a great artist market on Saturdays. Ken's house is beautiful - it is very spacious and clean. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes etc. and modern appliances. It was wonderful having a washer and dryer available as well. We felt very comfortable and safe and I highly recommend this home. We had a great time!

Close to beaches...beautiful home! Best vacation ever!

Ken provided a quick response welcoming us and all the information we needed as far as amenities in the home and some directions. It is in a beautiful area close to 2 beaches, grocery store and places to eat. The house was immaculate, very roomy and we loved eating on the lanai. Everything was as promised and more. Highly recommend this property.

The pictures really doesn't do this house justice, it's way nicer than it looks! The house had everything that we needed and more. The location is secluded and private, no neighbors that bother you. We had one minor issue with the kitchen sink which was attended to within minutes. Kenneth is really great host!

Our stay at the Hawthorns was fantastic. The home is situated in a quiet setting with very nice privacy. There is woods to the back and no neighbors too close! The pool was perfect, only being bested by the adjoining hot tub, which was such a pleasure! We stayed here a week, but I wish it had been a month. I enjoyed it so much, I actually considered buying a nearby home! We were able to take day trips to the Everglades (where we took a fan boat ride) and Myakka State Park (the bigger one by Sarasota), since the location is central to both places. The listing understates the value of this place! The whole place was spacious and very nice. I felt like we had plenty of room for all eight of us that made it! I will definitely come back again. Thank you, Lisa, for allowing us to stay here.

We were never able to talk to anyone while we were there, but this wasn't a problem in that we didn't have a need.

We had a lovely week at the Hawthorns. The villa was clean and well equipped. The pool was lovely and warm and the jacuzzi was enjoyed. The area was very quiet and peaceful. We were a bit surprised at how far we needed to travel to get to the shops and restaurants but there were plenty within a twenty to thirty minute drive. I would recommend this villa to anyone who is in need of a restful and peaceful holiday.

Absolutely love this house! It was better than expected and even more. Alot of space, clean and comfortable. They provided beach chairs, coolers, and even bikes! The community has a biking trail I recommend you do. The only small downside is that anything close is a 15+ drive, but the house makes it worth it. Any question I had Lisa answered it promptly and it was a really pleasant experience.

Lisa was wonderful to work with! She promptly responded to our questions and was very professional. We only had 1 minor issue which was resolved quickly. The home is beautiful and has everything you need. We stayed with 3 other couples for a reunion retreat and had plenty of room for everyone. The location was wonderful...very quiet and serene. We would definitely stay at this home again.

This was actually our first experience using Airbnb. We were a bit nervous not knowing how things would go. We couldn't have been more pleased. The home was gorgeous and Lisa was a wonderful host! She was warm and kind from the beginning of our booking and the house had EVERYTHING we needed. We would highly recommend to anyone. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. We would go back in a heartbeat!

A great house that's fully stocked with everything you'd need for a relaxing vacation. Quiet street, and pretty view.

Barry had great communication, quick replies and was very accommodating. The house was even bigger than it looked in the photos and had everything we needed, including some toys for the pool. The house has two living areas, the king suite is on one side of the house and the queen suite and two twin rooms are on the other side and even has a door to close off the hallway to them to keep the noise out when the kids are asleep. The water behind the house is about 20 feet away and on the last day we actually saw an alligator, not to worry because the house is raised up about 3 feet off the ground and the pool is screened in and it was pretty exciting. He even had the kiddie pool fence set up around the pool itself for when we got there!

Nice clean well equipped home in a great neighborhood. The owner communicated a lot with us and everything was as we expected. Great access to the Beach just across the road.

Sue described everything in wonderful detail and she was an amazing hostess. She had left everything wonderfully arranged and marked and even some refreshments as well as some breakfast amenities. The house was immaculate and it was a pleasure to stay at just across the road from public beach access and 10 minutes walking to Boca Grande downtown.
