Unterkünfte in Estes Park
THE TOWN HAS SHUT DOWN SHORT TERM LODGING UNTIL 4/17! You can only rent now for 30+ days (so we have 1, 2 and 3BR units available for monthly stays at reduced rates), and now to those exempted: you work here (ie, travel nurses/healthcare); you are under quarantine with a note from county public health; you have symptoms; or you can demonstrate good cause to stay. Please inquire if you meet the requirements.
Few rentals are closer to downtown than this beautiful, centrally located 3-bedroom unit (Permit #3076). This modern studio offers a private deck & great views in a quiet mountain neighborhood near Rocky Mountain National Park. You will likely encounter herds of elk & deer, and are welcome to enjoy the starry night in the hot tub. A cozy, private space with its own entrance, a luxurious queen bed, sofa bed, & kitchenette. Conveniently located 1/4 mile from Marys Lake, and 4 miles from downtown & the national park. NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. This is a gorgeous, modern studio apartment in my home's walkout basement, with amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. As you can see in the photos, there is a front living area and a rear bedroom area, but no door separating them. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! Past reviews have raved about this property: "... the best I've stayed at." "... a surreal environment with beautiful artwork and clean cut simplicity in design" "... a must stay if you are in the area." "... tons of wildlife right out the back door." "... pictures can’t truly describe the view from the deck." "... an incredible value for all it gives. Amazing location and view!" Note that some months of the year I live upstairs, and other months I am gone. When booking, assume I'll be here -- but also understand you'll have your own private studio, kitchenette, bathroom, deck and entrance as shown in the photos. You probably won't see me unless you need me, and I give guests privacy. I figure that's why you're here in the mountains in the first place! Rest is so important after a day hiking around Rocky Mountain National Park! Sleep soundly on a Serta queen mattress and a super comfortable 3-inch memory foam topper. The bed is the third most loved aspect of my unit, aside from the view and hot tub. The front living area has a futon sofa that can be converted to a full size bed, so the unit can accommodate 3 or 4 people. There is an extra per person fee for more than 2 people. There is little better in life than sitting in this cozy space (or on the deck!) after a great day in Rocky Mountain National Park, and watching deer and elk graze nearby. If you're lucky you'll spot the neighborhood bobcat, badger, or raccoon family. This rental is situated a fantastic rural neighborhood on the slopes of Prospect Mountain. The house has unobstructed views because of its elevation. Due to the topography, the house is very isolated and private -- you can't see neighbors and they can't see you. Recurring comments from guests include the great views, the privacy, the deck, the hot tub, the uncluttered and open space, and the fact that you can watch the sun rise over the mountains from bed if you're so inclined. You'll be well equipped to do your own cooking while you visit: the kitchenette features a fridge and freezer, a two burner cooktop, toaster, stainless steel pots/pans, dishes and cutlery, water boiler, and more. Please see the photos for more details. There is no oven. The deck is perfect for lounging and enjoying the view and relaxing. It features two big chaise lounges. The deck's railing has a thick piece of wood on top, and guests often use that as a table top and sit on bar stools and watch the sunset and eat dinner. This unit does not feature a television, but there is speedy WiFi if you want to stream Netflix to your computer or tablet. If you want to fish, Marys Lake is 1/4 mile away. There's even a beach for sunbathing. If you like rock climbing, there are boulders from V0 to V10, trad routes from 5.5 to 5.12, and sport routes from 5.7 to 5.13 on Prospect Mountain, all of which are 15-20 minutes by foot from the front door. There's also a great hiking trail that goes to the top of Prospect Mountain (the trailhead is 5 minutes by foot from the house), and once there you'll have one of the best views of Estes Park around, with a full panorama of the Continental Divide and Estes Valley. The entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is about 7 minutes via car. As you can see in the photos, you do need to walk down several flights of steps to get to the unit. Be prepared for this! Overall, this studio is a great base for outdoor lovers who want peace and quiet and want to experience all the wonders of Estes Park and the Rocky Mountains.
This is a wonderful neighborhood in one of the more rural parts of Estes Park. We are only a few miles from downtown, but things are quiet here! The home is nestled in a huge ravine on the slope of Prospect Mountain, so you can't see the neighbors homes. It feels pretty secluded. You can actually hike out the front door and in about 45 minutes be at the top of Prospect Mountain, which has one of the most incredible views in all of Estes Park! You can see the entire national park and the continental divide in a giant panorama. The home is also about a quarter of a mile from Marys Lake, where you can fish. I love this area and am grateful to live here. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD IN YOUR CAR. Local bears have been known to get a little curious.

Soothe your soul in a hot tub above downtown while staring into Rocky Mountain National Park after a long day of hiking (STR#3126)! You'll love my historic cabin, built in the late 1800s but modernized for your comfort. Its cozy 540 square feet provide great views, a full kitchen & bathroom, fireplace, inviting and warm bedroom, and a deck overlooking Lumpy Ridge. + Walk to downtown and the Stanley Hotel + 8 minute drive to the park A perfect base for up to 4 people for a mountain getaway!
NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. My cabin rests on a hillside above downtown in a small neighborhood of other historic cabins. This was one of the original neighborhoods when people first settled in the Estes Valley. The place predates most other buildings in the area, but it's been lovingly cared for and is in great shape. I love being able to walk to town from here, but still come home afterward and sit in the hot tub. Afterwards, I enjoy lounging on the sofa and just relaxing in front of the fireplace. There are other cabins close by, so if you are looking for total seclusion this isn't your best bet -- but there aren't many vacation rentals out there offering the great combination of views, a hot tub, fireplace, deck, full kitchen, and the ability to walk to town. ⛰️ BEDROOMS ⛰️ My home offers 1 bedroom, plus sleeping for two more on two Ikea ottomans that convert to single beds. Bedroom 1 - A comfortable mattress will ensure a good night sleep after a long day of hiking. It's a cozy space with wood paneled walls throughout, and north facing windows so you can watch the sun light up Lumpy Ridge as you wake up. ⛰️ LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT ⛰️ Living Room - There's a spacious dining room table and a comfy couch to lounge in while you stream your favorite Netflix series on the speedy WiFi. Feel free to fire up the fireplace -- it's electric but offers a great ambiance as the flames flicker on the cozy wood walls. Deck & Hot Tub - We have a small deck with a grill off the front door overlooking Lumpy Ridge, a perfect spot for BBQ.. Our hot tub fits two comfortably but you could squeeze more in if necessary. It has a small fence around it for privacy from our neighors' cabins, but the northern side is open so you can watch the mountains. ⛰️ LAUNDRY & COOKING ⛰️ Kitchen - The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, small appliances, fridge, freezer, full size oven and stove, microwave, drop coffee maker, toaster, and more. You may not actually use it that much because you can walk to all the great restaurants in downtown! Laundry - We do offer a full size washer and dryer for you to use!
My cabin is located in a neighborhood of other historic cabins on a hillside just above downtown Estes Park. You can literally walk everywhere in town -- to the Stanley Hotel, Ed's Cantina, local coffee shops and restaurants, etc. Because it's on a hill, you have a great view of Lumpy Ridge to the north from the deck and hot tub.

Absolut keine Beschwerden! Würde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

Walk a few hundred yards into the Nat'l Park from my cozy, contemporary space influenced by my Norwegian roots (STR #6184). A 44" 4K TV, full kitchen, queen bed, private bath, and big deck will ensure a great getaway. My house basically abuts the park, so you'll see lots of wildlife as you sip your coffee! + Walk into RMNP & The Rock Inn Tavern + 2 min drive to the Park visitor center + 5 min drive to town Enjoy a tiny home with great amenities for your next vacation! NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. Thanks for checking out the north apartment in my duplex, perfectly situated just footsteps away from the boundary of Rocky Mountain National Park. You will love its cleanliness and modern, cozy feel inspired by my Norwegian roots. It's well appointed with a new kitchen, living room, TV, sofa, bed, carpet and more, and the fully equipped kitchen will allow you to feel at home during your Estes Park vacation. Note that winter tires, chains or 4WD/AWD are highly recommended in Estes Park from October to May. If you arrive in an inadequate vehicle during a winter storm and can't make it the last few hundred feet to the home, you'll need to ferry your stuff by hand and then park in our other home two blocks away and walk back. This sort of weather happens a few times a year. People who have stayed at my 425 square-foot rental have raved: "...Great place to rest your head after a long hike." "... Cute, modern cabin that is perfect distance from the National Park and town." "... Nice deck and at the top of the hill, so it felt like a true retreat." "... Rannveig was very accommodating and quickly responded!" I spent nearly three months during the winter of 2019 working to create a quiet and relaxing sanctuary for your mountain retreat. Improvements include: + Fresh paint throughout + Comfy modern couch + New carpeting in the bedroom + Twinkly, cozy lights + A brand new queen mattress for a great rest. + A 44” smart TV with lots of streaming options, + Super fast WiFi with no dead zones My favorite feature is the vaulted living room ceiling, making the tiny space feel quite big. I also love the large deck, which is surrounded by mountains. ***** FOUR IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES ***** This is a duplex, and both sides are short term rentals. The only shared space, however, is the driveway. The wall separating the units is sound insulated, but please be respectful and don't make a ton of noise. This 1940s cabin has been itching for a facelift for many years. While the inside is completely brand new (with the exception of the tub and stove), I plan to totally repaint the exterior soon, when weather allows. There are other rental units nearby in my historic cabin neighborhood. If you are looking for complete seclusion and and isolation in the woods, this isn't your best bet. Last, check in is 4PM and check out is 10AM. I cannot accommodate early check ins and late check outs due to my cleaners' schedule. It's a super tiny mountain town and the cleaners are slammed and there just aren't other people to clean. I'm sorry about that! BEDROOMS My home offers 1 bedrooms with its own private bathroom, plus sleeping for two more on a living room sofa bed. Bedroom 1 - A comfortable memory-foam mattress will ensure a good night sleep after a long day of hiking. Attached is a large closet for your gear, plus a full bathroom complete with shower/tub, original wood siding from the 1940s, and a brand new toilet, vanity and medicine chest. Blackout shades ensure privacy and a sound night's rest, but if you like to wake up with the sunrise, you can leave them up and close the sheer curtains and watch the room light up in the mornings. Bedroom 1 - Not really a bedroom, but the living couch turns into a full size bed that can comfortable accomodate two. A spare set of sheets and blankets is in the chaise part of the couch, which flips up. LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Living Room -There's a brand new 44" 4K smart television with Roku. Come on in and log into your favorite streaming service. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sling, Hulu, etc. WiFi - My home employs a mesh WiFi network with no dead zones. A strong 100Mbps connection will allow you to stream and work without any issues. LAUNDRY & COOKING Kitchen - The galley kitchen has everything you need to cook, despite it being so small. There's a full stove and oven, fridge and freezer, and assortment of pots and pans. My brand new knives are sharp (dull knives are a pet peeve!). There are cutting boards, wine glasses, coffee mugs, and a french press so you can get your caffeine fix before you enjoy the park. Laundry - My tiny space features a full size washer and dryer that you are free to use.
My neighborhood has about 30 historic vacation cabins. There are other buildings nearby so if you are looking for total isolation and wilderness seclusion, another home may be better for you. That said, the location can't be beat. You can hike out your door and straight into the National Park. The top of Eagle Cliff Mountain, which my home sites on the side of, has one of the best views in all of Estes Park. Standing atop it afford an unobstructed view of Beaver Meadows and all the high peaks along the Continental Divide. An unofficial trailhead is about 3 minutes from the door. You'll be on the west side of Estes Park, so you don't have to brave downtown traffic to get into the National Park. Driving into the center of town is a short 7 minute journey, and the closest grocery store is 5 minutes away.

Ideal setting for two adults, there is a bike path and trails just out the door or a 10 minute drive to the national park. Wildlife are abundant in the neighborhood and the area is serene. Registration #3345.
700 square foot lower level studio. The space is bright and clean with an updated kitchenette, lighting, and flooring. The furnishings are modern yet cozy.
The house faces National Forest with spectacular views of the Centennial Hills There are numerous dirt roads for running or walking just out the door.
Sehr empfehlenswert!

So come stay in this newly remodeled 3-bedroom riverside cabin 2 blocks from the edge of downtown (STR #6089). Features a hot tub, gazebo and picnic area, and you can literally walk 40 feet from your bedroom to fish. Relax in the hot tub after a long day in the mountains & then enjoy the fireplace in the kitchen/dining area. Relax in a comfy reading chair chair, leather sofa, or giant bean bag. Perfect for couples or groups up to 6. New paint, carpet & 55" TV! NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. This beautiful, cozy cabin is located in the most perfect spot in Estes Park, literally on the edge of the Big Thompson River about a block and a half from the edge of downtown. The cabin features a huge, open living/dining area with lots of sunlight, a private hot tub, a gazebo with a BBQ for outdoor living, and a river with some fishing. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! Past guests have raved about this property: "We loved the hot tub, the stars, and sitting by the river after dark." "Nathan's beautiful cabin along the river was just amazing and we seemed so 'at home' there." "More spacious than it looks in pictures!" "It truly was a home away from home." "The hot tub is world class." "We loved sitting down by the river and grilling dinner each night!" When you're here, you can leave the car behind, avoid the traffic of downtown, and just walk a block and a half to the edge of downtown, where you'll find restaurants, bars and shops. At the same time, it's on a private side road with no traffic, allowing you to have all the benefit of being centrally located without having to deal with the congestion. Additionally, the National Park entrance is a quick 5 minute drive from the front door. This unit is meant for people seeking peace and tranquility; it is absolutely not a party house at all. Water Dance (the cabin’s name) is tastefully decorated with mountain and cabin-themed decor, complete with beautiful handmade Amish furniture. BEDROOMS This home has 3 separate bedrooms with 4 beds in total. Bedroom 1 - The master suite features a gorgeous, hand-made log bed with an Olympic queen mattress and private bathroom. Bedroom 2 - A queen bedroom with a slider door opening out toward the river. I love sleeping here on warm summer nights to hear the sounds of the river through the screen door. Bedroom 3 - Perfect for kids, featuring two twin beds. ★★★★★ PLEASE NOTE: The master bath has a tub but no shower ★★★★★ The kitchen is fully equipped with a blender, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, pots and pans, cutlery, silverware, baking supplies, and all the gadgets and utensils you can imagine. There's a great breakfast bar and a kitchen table. The open living space also features a huge couch you can sink into, as well as additional seating, all centered around a cozy gas fireplace. There's fast WiFi as well as a 55-inch 4K flat panel television in the living room with Sling, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and a host of other streaming television services. You can watch sports, news and movies to your heart's content. The outside area is shaded thanks to tons of mature trees. You will likely see deer or elk grazing on the grass. When summer arrives, all the plant foliage will grow thick, and you'll hear the leaves rustling all day in harmony with the breeze. Many of the town's top restaurants and attractions are all within a short walk: the Estes Park Brewery and Rock Cut Brewery, the China Garden restaurant, The Barrel bar, Sweet Basilico Restaurant (tasty Italian food with great pizza), and much more. In the same 2 block radius is a liquor store, a winery, a couple of food trucks (parked at Rock Cut -- sometimes you'll find fried chicken and other times you'll find a crepe truck). Be sure to walk to the gondola during the summers; it goes up Prospect Mountain and offers breathtaking views of the continental divide, the national park, and the entire Estes Park valley. The kids can walk a block to Fun City and enjoy the bumper boats and bumper cars, mini golf, a giant slide, a bungee trampoline, and go-cart racing. A half block away is the super fun aerial obstacle course of the Open Air Adventure Park. Some of these attractions are closed seasonally, so please check them out on the Internet. The free summer shuttle bus that goes all over town has a stop a half a block away, so you can board it and get around for free. The place is extremely family friendly, though it is on the edge of a river so be sure to supervise your kids, particular during the early summer when the snow starts to melt and the water level rises.
If you don't want to bother cooking, simply walk a half block to the best pizza/Italian (Sweet Basilico), brewery (Rock Cut), and chinese food (The China Garden) in the city. In the summers, the Two Chicks chicken food truck is often parked outside Rock Cut on the edge of the creek.

Walk into the Nat'l Park from this 1750 sq-ft cabin with wraparound deck and mountain views of Longs Peak (STR# 6028). Enjoy an enormous yard and rec pavillion, play games & watch movies, chill in front of a fire, or relax on new furnishings. Elk, deer, bears and wildlife abound here as we are 1/4 mile from the Park boundary. Walk into National Park & The Rock Inn Tavern 2 min drive to the Park visitor center 2 min drive to town Enjoy a private panoramic view for your next vacation! NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. My home is perfectly situated only a few hundred yards from the boundary of Rocky Mountain National Park. You can watch the sun rise over the mountains from bed, eat breakfast while elk and deer mill about, hike into RMNP from the front door, and come home and watch the stars over the high peaks from the deck. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! I invite you to stay in my gorgeous cozy cabin! You will love its warmth, cleanliness and authentic mountain feel. It's perfectly appointed with new, comfy furnishings as well as countless amenities so you can feel at home during your mountain getaway in Estes Park. My guests here have raved: "... This is an exceptional home with all the amenities you will need." "... Quiet location and we had deer to view on a regular basis." "... It was immaculate and clean, nicely decorated, and so comfortable during our stay!" "... The view are just awesome!" "... Remote enough that it is dark at night and can see so many stars!" I spent two months giving it a complete facelift to create a quiet, relaxing sanctuary for your mountain retreat. Improvements include: + Fresh paint throughout + Comfy modern couch, tables and chairs + New carpeting in the bedrooms + Incredible reading chairs and lamps + Twinkly, cozy lights + A variety of beds (soft, medium and firm) for a great rest. + A 55” smart TV with lots of streaming options, + Super fast WiFi with no dead zones You will enjoy 3 bedrooms each with its own private bath, a living room with games, puzzles and a smart 55" TV, a dining room with seating for 8, an antique wood burning stove that will take you back in time, and an outdoor rec pavillion with a ping pong table. My favorite feature is the huge wraparound deck, offering a straight view of Longs Peak glistening in the morning sunrise and glowing beneath the Milky Way at night. BEDROOMS My home offers 3 bedrooms, each with an attached private bathroom, plus sleeping for two more on sofa beds in the living room. Bedroom 1 - The smaller main floor bedroom has the softer mattress of all three beds in the house, plus an attached 3/4 bathroom with toilet, sink and shower (no tub). I hand made a headboard out of reclaimed pine and added a floor to ceiling armoir for storage that has a cool cork door. My favorite part of this bedroom is that it opens directly onto the gorgeous porch. Bedroom 2 - This is one of the two master bedrooms. It’s the eastern one at the top of the stairs and is the largest. It offers a chest of drawers, a medium firm bed, full blackout shades for a great night sleep, twinkly lights above the bed for ambiance, and a reading nook with a super comfy chair that gets all day sun. If you like to get in touch with nature’s daily rhythms, sleep here with the shades open and watch the sun rise as it lights up the nearby mountains. You can see the whole show from the warmth of your bed. Bedroom 3 - The second master bedroom at the top of the stairs on the west side of the home. It has the firmest bed (my favorite), but is otherwise a near mirror image of the other master bedroom. It’s got full blackout shades, unique pendant lighting, and a full bathroom. If you’re into sleeping in, this may be your favorite. Pull down the blinds and you’ll be in a cocoon until noon. Bedroom 4 - Not really a bedroom, but the living room has two ottomans with pull out beds. If you push them together, you get a queen for the largest groups. Spare linens for it are in the dining room hutch. LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Deck - This is the hallmark of my home, and it's my favorite place to spend time. There’s a ton of seating out there, so you can relax, read, watch wildlife roaming around, stare at the mountains and stars, and just chill out and enjoy the peace and quiet. I moved all the home’s old sofas onto the deck so you can laze about. I promise that when the Milky Way rises, you’ll see more stars than most people ever have in their lives. The deck has two outdoor dining tables for breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and they are great card, game and puzzle tables. You'll often feel like you're in a zoo; because the national park boundary is literally two properties away, herds of deer and elk are constantly roaming around. Living Room - If it’s cold or windy, come on into the spacious and cozy living room, which has a huge window offering the same views as you’d get from the deck. I installed a 55” smart television on a floating stand I made of reclaimed wood, so you can stream pretty much anything you’d like with your friends and family. There’s a small library with books you can read or take with you (if you take one, please leave one behind), as well as dozens of puzzles and games for when you want to detach from technology. Two doors open from the living room onto the massive deck. Dining Room - The dining room will become one of the central gathering points for your friends and family. It features a brand new birch table, seating for 8 on benches and stools, log cabin wood trim on the walls, and an antique wood burning fireplace for chilly winter nights. All combined, the mix of pine, acacia and birch wood gives you a very natural feel, and the cozy wood fireplace completes the scene. A massive door swings open onto the deck from here too. WiFi - I moved the home’s WiFi location to provide a centralized access point with no dead zones on the property. You’ll enjoy a strong 100Mbs connection for streaming, entertainment and work. REC PAVILLION - One of the most fun parts of the house is a giant recreation pavillion with a great view, open walls, Christmas lights dangling from the ceiling, and a ping pong table! This is the greatest post hike activity, aside from simply relaxing on the porch. LAUNDRY & COOKING Kitchen - The kitchen is a chef's dream! It features two ovens, a full sized fridge/freezer, a microwave, dishwasher, a large island, lots of small appliances, cutlery, dishes, utensils, bowls/pots/pans and virtually anything else you may need or want. The island also features three bar stools so people can hang out and socialize. Laundry - There's a laundry room with a washer and a dryer that you are free to use. Please do! I try to keep the detergent stocked but don't guarantee it, so it may be wise to bring a little of your own. ESTES PARK'S MANY AWARDS Estes has become sought after year-round destination over the last five years. In fact, a few years ago the town was named to more than 50 lists of Best, Favorite and Top Destinations. Here are a select few: - Best Mountain Town - Sunset Magazine - Top-Rated Vacation Destinations in North America - Expedia - America's Most Scenic Roads - Travel + Leisure Magazine - Top 20 Mountain Trips - Sunset Magazine - America's 15 Most Romantic Cities for Winter Travel - Trip Advisor - 10 U.S. Places To Travel Before They Get Famous - Huffington Post - The Ten Most Beautiful Towns in CO - TheCultureTrip.com - The Most Romantic Weekend Getaway in Every State - Thrillist.com - 50 Small Towns Across America with the Most Beautiful Fall Foliage - Country Living - The 15 Most Beautiful Spots in CO - TheCrazyTourist.com - Best Towns in Colorado - Niche - Top 10 Adult Spring Break Destinations in America Revealed - World Property Journal Here's what National Geographic Magazine wrote out our little slice of paradise: "Rising up along the Continental Divide, Rocky Mountain National Park is a natural overachiever, with 77 mountains above 12,000 feet—including 14,259-foot Longs Peak—and a span of alpine tundra. Snow-packed granite peaks tower over a calm of ponderosa pines, which ease toward meadow and meandering stream—four ecosystems within one park. It’d be simple to cover them all on a drive along scenic Trail Ridge Road, but why not channel Enos Mills and hike some of the 355 miles of trails instead? You might hear elk bugling or spy otters swimming among lily pads."
The Hill House is along Highway 66 only a few short minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It's a quiet area that sees little traffic, and the park boundary is within a quarter of a mile. This means elk, coyotes, foxes, bears, raccoons, hummingbirds, and mule deer frequently pass by.

Travel back to 1914 in a vintage 2BR hillside cabin blocks from the Nat'l Park (STR #6190). Enjoy the sounds of the Big Thompson across the street or stare at the high peaks while BBQing on the wraparound deck. A king master bedroom & private fireplace ensures a restful sleep, along with the upstairs queen bedroom and lofted sleeping area. Elk, bear and wildlife abound. - Walk to fishing, Nat'l Park & Dunraven Inn - 7 min drive to the Park visitor center - 8 min drive to downtown NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. My home is perfectly situated blocks from the boundary of Rocky Mountain National Park and across the street from the bank of the Big Thompson River. It's is more than 100 years old, lovingly cared for and meticulously restored. Though it predates most buildings in the Estes Valley (and even the Town itself) it's in great shape and has been been fully modernized for your comfort. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! You can watch the sun rise over the mountains from bed, eat breakfast while elk and deer mill about, hike into the National Park (either Beaver Meadows or to the top of Eagle Cliff Mountain) from the front door, and come home and watch the stars over the high peaks as you BBQ on the deck and listen to the sound of the river. *** BEFORE CONTINUING, NOTE THE FOLLOWING *** 1) The master bedroom is on the first floor but you must climb the ladder to get to the lofted sleeping area and queen bedroom, where headroom is limited. 2) By booking, you are agreeing to the house and neighborhood rules at the bottom of the listing. You MUST read them, as this property is located in an HOA neighborhood containing other vacation homes nearby. 3) The home is a very useable 1,334 square feet but it may seem smaller due to the funky a-frame construction in the loft. 4) This is an old, old home!! The living room fireplace is original and does not burn efficiently. Wood logs, especially when wet, will smoke out the house. You may only burn Duraflame or equivalent woodchip/sawdust logs in the living room fireplace. You can burn regular logs in the bedroom fireplace. ****** Now, onward! I invite you to stay in my cozy cabin! You will love its warmth, cleanliness, retro feel and authentic mountain vibe. It's perfectly appointed with comfy furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen, a washer/dryer, and countless amenities so you can feel at home during your mountain getaway in Estes Park. Guests here have raved: "... The cabin is an absolute delight! The location couldn’t be any better." "... I travel the country frequently and have added this to my list of return trips." "... Absolutely beautiful place, in an amazing location. Can't wait to stay again!" "... In a nice location by the river and with great mountain views... looks exactly like the pictures posted!" "... Beautiful setting and amazing host." I spent a month giving my new cabin a facelift to create a quiet, relaxing sanctuary for your mountain retreat. Improvements include: + Updated lighting + Brand new smart TV + New, luxurious queen bed in the upstairs lofted bedroom + Twinkly, cozy lights throughout + A new smart TV with lots of streaming options, + Super fast WiFi with no dead zones You will enjoy two bedrooms, a full bathroom with toilet/shower/tub, a utility room with a washer/dryer and a shower, a living room with games, puzzles and a smart TV, a dining area with seating for 6, a vintage rock fireplace that will take you back in time, two screened in porches, and a big wrap-around deck with a picnic table and BBQ. My favorite feature is the wraparound deck, which offers a straight view of Hallet Peak glistening in the morning sunrise and glowing beneath the Milky Way at night. BEDROOMS My home offers 2 bedrooms plus sleeping for two more in the loft above the living room. Bedroom 1 - A massive master bedroom with a sofa, huge king bed, reading chair, interesting bookshelf, and mid-century modern fireplace. My favorite part of this bedroom is that it opens directly onto the huge wrap-around deck. Bedroom 2 - A funky and cozy loft with an incredibly comfortable queen mattress, a small dormer to sit in and drink tea and read. If you like to get in touch with nature’s daily rhythms, sleep here and stare out the skylight above the bedroom. You can see the Milky Way from the warmth of your bed! Sleeping Area - The lofted sleeping area above the living room has two twin beds, both situated directly below skylights so you can stare up at the stars as you fall asleep. LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Deck - This is the hallmark of my home, and it's my favorite place to spend time. There’s a picnic table and BBQB there so you can relax, read, watch wildlife roaming around, stare at the mountains and stars, and just chill out and enjoy the peace and quiet. I promise that when the Milky Way rises, you’ll see more stars than most people ever have in their lives. You'll often feel like you're in a zoo; because the national park boundary is literally a few blocks away, herds of deer and elk are constantly roaming around. Living Room - You'll pass much of your time here, either on two super comfy recliners or on a luxuriously soft leather sofa in front of the fireplace. Twinkly lights overhead light up the space, and a cool vintage Edison-bulb chandelier puts off a cool old-school vibe. There is no drywall -- it's all warm, cozy and inviting wood. My own art adorns the walls and a smart television hangs above the fireplace, so you can stream pretty much anything you’d like with your friends and family. There’s a small library of puzzles and games for when you want to detach from technology. WiFi - I moved the home’s WiFi location to provide a centralized access point with no dead zones on the property. You’ll enjoy a strong 100Mbs connection for streaming, entertainment and work. LAUNDRY & COOKING Kitchen - The kitchen is fully stocked It features a big oven, a full sized fridge/freezer, a microwave, dishwasher, various small appliances, cutlery, dishes, utensils, bowls/pots/pans and virtually anything else you may need or want. It opens directly to the dining area so you can socialize as someone's cooking. Laundry - There's a small utility room with a washer and a dryer that you are free to use. Please do! I try to keep the detergent stocked but don't guarantee it, so it may be wise to bring a little of your own. It is a VERY cramped space, so be warned. You can also use a small second shower in there. ESTES PARK'S MANY AWARDS Estes has become sought after year-round destination over the last five years. My historic cabin is along Highway 66 only a few short minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It's a quiet area that sees little traffic, and the park boundary is a few blocks away. Additionally the property backs up to a nature easement. This means that elk, coyotes, bobcats, foxes, bears, raccoons, hummingbirds, and mule deer frequently pass by. The Big Thompson River across the street can be fished once you get a permit from the state (available at local outfitters, etc). The Dunraven Inn, one of the town's best restaurants, is 2 blocks away at the entry to my neighborhood. VERY IMPORTANT: My place is in a small development for vacation homes, so there are a few rules that you are agreeing to when you book my place -- and they apply to my entire neighborhood, not just my house: - No smoking ANYWHERE AT ALL in the neighborhood or inside or around my house. - 15mph on all roads once you enter the neighborhood. - Quiet hours from 9pm to 9am. That means no parties or noisy socializing on the deck. - No RVs, ATVs, motorhomes, campers or motorcycles - No open fires - No pets - There is a wonderful playground for families about a block away in the neighborhood.

This charming and cozy river-adjacent condo set against a breathtaking rock-face backdrop in the heart of downtown offers easy walking access to shopping, restaurants, gorgeous views, and only a short drive to the park. It is not uncommon for our guests to awake to herds of elk mere feet from the front door! Check out our other similar listing right next-door, Unit #10! You may find other available dates or maybe even a more competitive price! View it at https://airbnb.com/h/estespark-unit-10
The space features a private bedroom with queen bed, a full kitchen, full bath, living room with a comfy queen foam mattress sleeper sofa, and toasty electric fireplace. Amenities include cable TV, WiFi (mountain internet can sometimes be patchy), and communal exterior gas fire pit. This building has shared patio spaces which include chairs, picnic tables and a gas grill. Take your early morning coffee to the upper deck and soak in the Colorado sunshine and beautiful view. This cozy space is ideal for a couple, a family with smaller children, and is suitable for four adults who don't getting snug. We also have a pack and play available for our younger guests. Check-in is 4pm and Check-out is 10am. Unfortunately we are not able to provide early/late arrival/departure due to the schedule of our other guests and cleaners. A roll of toilet paper and paper towels are provided at the start of your stay but additional consumables are the responsibility of our guests. This unit is on the garden level so be aware that some noise could be heard from the condos above. Due to the central location of this condo, there can be some traffic noise. Most guests do not notice or mind but we like to be up front about it. The appeal of this location is its proximity to shopping and restaurants. Estes Park is a beautiful and popular destination, so at certain times of the year (especially summer), parking can be difficult. Parking in front of the complex can be limited during this time but there are a few options: parking passes are provided to you free of charge to the lot across the street for overnight parking. There is also a free city shuttle system allowing guests to park in the much larger parking structure down the road at the beginning of your stay and shuttle to the unit. There are very rare instances when when we may need to enter the condo for a repair, to restock something for our cleaners, etc. We always do it during the day and always make an attempt to contact our guests beforehand but if we don’t get a reply, we may knock and if no one is there, let ourselves in to do the brief maintenance. If we get reports/complaints of rowdiness, smoking or pets, we reserve the right to check on the property without notice. We strive to give you a 5 star experience, so if there are any issues during your stay, please reach out to us so we can make it right! Town of Estes Registration #6177

Spacious studio guest suite with private entrance, newer queen mattress, living area, large windows, kitchenette, bathroom. Private entrance with deck covered by large awning (in summer months) and picnic table. Convenient, mountain living - two blocks to Event Center and Lake Estes walking path. Follow lake path for short walk to downtown Estes Park river walk and Visitor Center shuttle. (Registration#3265)
Peaceful, quiet space for your "home base" while exploring RMNP and Estes Park. Many of our guests comment on the number of conveniences we've thought of to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. Large coffee table to spread your maps on as you confirm your adventures or settle in for the night with some reading or games. No TV, but there is good wifi if you want to bring your tablet or computer.
The backyard space is quiet, private and secluded from the rest of the neighborhood. The neighborhood is very convenient to downtown Estes Park, the Fairgrounds, Lake Estes, and RMNP. A surprising variety of wildlife frequents our neighborhood and passes through our yard.

Estes Valley vacation home license #3003. Gorgeous mountain views from every room and from the two porches. Cabin is nestled on 14 acres bordering Rocky Mountain National Park. It is only six miles to the main entrance of the park and two miles from the town of Estes Park and numerous restaurants. Convenient access for hiking, climbing, biking, or enjoying downtown. Our house is located 100m behind the cabin. The buildings are located on 14 acres full of ponderosa pine, aspen, cedar, douglas fir, and blue spruce. A seasonal pond (October - May) in the front yard is a frequent stop for deer and elk. A vacation home is within site to the east, but is rarely used.

Perfectly located between Lyons and Estes Park, we offer a very comfortable queen bedroom, a private bath, sunrise views, a living room including a separate entrance in the lower level of our home as well as a TV with Chromecast, small refrigerator, coffee maker, electric kettle and accoutrement. There is also access to a shared deck with a wide open overlook on 8.5 secluded acres and a shared kitchen you may use.
NOTICE: The highway to Estes Park and RMNP from our home is CLOSED between Mar 9 and April 7. In order to get to Estes from our house during that time requires driving back to Lyons (8 miles) and taking Highway 7 around. Also, we require AWD or 4x4 vehicle during heavy snowfall thru April. Our home is a warm and friendly place off the beaten path - down a bumpy driveway and less than a mile of gravel road - but not far from the highway. There is more room than we need and we are happy to be able to share it with you. AWD or 4x4 is needed during snowstorms thru April. The view from our house is far and wide with not a single house in sight and includes plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the woods. We offer a comfortable queen bedroom with a private bathroom, living room and entrance in the lower level of our home. We live and hang in the upper levels (with the exception of the laundry room). For extra guests we can offer a mattress topper on the floor or there’s a small couch in the guest living room. Each morning we take in the sunrise from our east windows and deck. You don’t even have to leave the guest bedroom to see it! One child 10 years old and under is free as an extra guest. If you are booked on Sunday (in winter), you may ask to book Monday as well. Dogs are $25 a piece extra for the whole stay.
". . . .a quiet and peaceful mountain hamlet. Pinewood Springs, an unincorporated mountain community in the Rocky Mountains. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of Roosevelt National Forest. The National Forest offers many hiking trails, biking trails and hunting opportunities. Mountain biking is quite popular. Pinewood Springs is located along Colorado State Highway 36 between Lyons Colorado and Estes Park Colorado. It is 12 miles from Estes Park and 8 miles from Lyons. The entire area is a wildlife corridor for elk, deer, coyote, smaller animals and the occasional bear. Just 20 to 30 minutes away is all the big traditional shopping and malls in the neighboring towns of Longmont and Boulder. One hour away is Denver and Denver International Airport. Going 15 minutes west along Highway 36, you will find Estes Park, Colorado, Rocky Mountain National Park and the continental divide. Estes Park has 8000 permanent residents and offers several good restaurants, a super market, movie theaters, a robust art community, 2 golf courses, cross country skiing and of course more hiking and wild life. Be careful of the elk jams that materialize on the local roads. Just 8 miles down the road to Lyons, a wonderful community packed with great restaurants. The Little Thompson River runs through, Pinewood Springs, formerly known as Little Elk Meadows, and provides us with water almost year around." Tom Adams, local real estate agent.

Was brauchst du mehr?

Steps away from the heart of Estes Park and a 5 minute drive to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park; the little hideaway is a cozy landing for mountain adventures. Enjoy mountain views just out the front door and then recede from the bustle outside to a quiet retreat. A gas fireplace turns on with a switch to enjoy year-round. Best of all, the location allows you to enjoy local breweries, restaurants, the riverwalk, and entertainment all accessible by foot in 5 minutes or less.
The condo has space for four guests: one bedroom with a queen bed and in the living room is a sleeper that folds out to a second queen-sized bed with a comfy memory foam mattress. The condo includes cable TV, a full kitchen including an electric range stove and oven, a gas fireplace, and a washer and dryer. Guests have access to an outdoor firepit and grill in the commons area directly out the door.
The location is amazing! Right out the door there is a park, the confluence of two rivers, the downtown riverwalk, restaurants, a historical movie theater, brewery, and shops. In the summer there are free, outdoor concerts closeby. In the winter, the trees in the park are illuminated with spectacular lights for the holidays.

    Christine2019-09-26T00:00:00Z

The perfect Colorado mountain getaway. 4 Seasons Inn on Fall River is located 1 mile west of Downtown Estes Park.   Downtown Estes Park along Elkhorn Avenue at first glance is full of tourist shops, galleries and restaurants.  Yet right out the backdoor of the shops is a surprise!  Estes Park's Riverwalk -  a wonderful park that meanders along the riverbanks all the way through town. Filled with intimate spots, shade, sculpture - it's an inviting place to explore.  Enjoy outdoor dining & coffee on the patio, places to dip a finger in the cold mountain water, benches to sit and people watch, and easy strolling through the Village. Two mountain rivers, Fall River and Big Thompson, join in the middle of the Riverwalk, which stretches from the golf course & Lake Estes in the East to Performance Park in the West. It is also located 3 miles away from Rocky Mountain National Park. Rocky Mountain National Park has grand mountains, tundra wildflowers, abundant wildlife, Trail Ridge Road  (the highest paved road in the US), and over 350 miles of trails, Rocky Mountain National Park is truly spectacular!  From flat easy hikes around a mountain lake to challenging multi-day backpack trips and climbs, Rocky Mountain National Park offers trails for hikers of every level.

My place is high up Rams Horn mountain. Surrounded by open space, it is quiet, peaceful, with abundant wildlife & incredible views of Rocky Mountain National Park. Nearby trails access the extensive park trail system. Below, across Aspenbrook, is the YMCA of the Rockies with gym, pool, coffee shop and store. Down route 66 are restaurants, entrance to the park. During summer, a shuttle bus connects YMCA to the park hikers shuttle and downtown EP. A car is required to accept your reservation.
This property provides one of the best views in Estes Park of the high mountains of the continental divide in Rocky Mountain National Park. The drive to the home is steep but wide and very well maintained, with several switchbacks. Do not rent if you have a fear of heights. I offer a master bedroom suite with King bed, private streaming TV, wifi internet, private bath. (A queen bedroom with shared bath is available under the "Everview Queen BNB secluded mountain home" listing.) This bedroom is available on a short term basis with 3 night minimum stay with discounts for longer stays ( 20% 7+ days, 25% 30+ days). Renters and owner share a common space with fireplace, internetTV, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, outdoor terrace/patio, grill. The room is accessed from the common area or directly from outside patio. Under the Estes Valley BNB license owner/manager is in home at all times when guests are present and sleeps in secluded area of common space.
The Windcliff neighborhood is a community of homes spread out with abundant open space on the steep south-western slope of Rams Horn mountain. It is peaceful and quiet. A perfect place to relax and view the high peaks from your bedroom or watch the abundant wildlife from the patio. The roads are well maintained and frequently plowed during winter. Roads are safe and smooth for walking within the Windcliff community. Trails into Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) start from the community in addition to highway entrance stations. Trail heads to Rams Horn and Lily peaks (1/2 mile), Aspenbrook trail (1 mile) to Lily Lake, Storm Pass and Estes Cone. The Wind River and Sprague Lake trails start from the east portal lake at the end of Tunnel Road (2.5 miles). The YMCA of the Rockies (2 miles) has swimming pool and gym. The excellent Dunraven, Bird and Jim restaurants are a bit further. The town of Estes Park (6 miles) has touristy shops, restaurants, outdoor and indoor concerts and hosts other cultural events at the fairgrounds and Stanley Hotel. The Beaver Meadows entrance on US 36 to RMNP is about twelve miles. From there you may take a road trip over the continental divide on Trail Ridge Road and further to the larger lakes (Grand, Shadow, and Granby) at the source of the Colorado River. Enjoy the vistas from your car or hike the extensive RMNP trail system. Trail Ridge Rd is closed during winter & spring Nov 1 - Memorial Day weekend.

Come stay in my arty bungalow on a quiet hillside steps from the heart of downtown Estes Park (STR #3516). You can't find a better location! Let your creativity flow through my piano, guitar and other instruments. My place features a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and great views of the Rocky Mountains. + Walk to restaurants, shows, breweries and shopping + 5 min drive to Rocky Mountain National Park At 425 s/f, it's a small space but big on amenities, perfect for your trip! NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. My newly remodeled artsy bohemian bungalow is perfectly situated on a quiet hillside overlooking downtown Estes Park. There are great views of old Man Mountain and Prospect Mountain right off the deck. It’s rare to find a hilltop cabin with these views that are this close to town, and I can't recall ever seeing a vacation home filled with as many instruments as this one! There's a piano, ukulele, guitar, mandolin, set of bongos, and a djembe drum. Use the mountain vibe to create music after an inspiring day in the Rockies. You can drive into the park in 5 minutes, walk half a block to restaurants, meander to Bond Park for live music, or just chill out on the deck and watch the hummingbirds fly by after a long day in the National Park. *** BEFORE CONTINUING, NOTE THE FOLLOWING *** 1) Two can sleep in the queen bed, and there’s a sofa bed that is slightly smaller than a full size bed. That means the place sleeps four people comfortably if two are children. If they are adults, it’ll be a squeeze for the fourth on the sofa bed. 2) By booking, you are agreeing to the house rules at the bottom of the listing. You MUST read them. ****** Now, onward! I invite you to stay in my boho-chic cabin. It’s bright yellow and I like to call it Mellow Yellow. You will love its warmth, cleanliness, artsy feel, views, location and awesome lighting! It's perfectly appointed with comfy furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen, and countless amenities so you can feel at home during your mountain getaway in Estes Park. I am a long-time superhost and have hosted thousands of people at my other properties. Recent guests have raved: "... The pictures were amazing but upon stepping in it was like I was in my own world" "... This place is in the best location and only a short walk to downtown." "... I was stunned by the interior design and the special touches strewn throughout the space!" "... The views from the porch are surreal." "... Communication was easy and the piano was my favorite." I spent several weeks giving my new cabin a facelift to create a quiet, relaxing sanctuary for your mountain retreat. Improvements include: + Updated decor + Musician's dream house, with piano, guitar, ukulele, mandolin, bongos and djembe + Blackout shades in the bedroom + Luxurious queen bed in a romantic nook with cozy lighting + New furniture + Fun bohemian vibe + Super fast WiFi You will enjoy 1 bedroom, a full bathroom with toilet/shower, a living room with games, puzzles and a smart TV, a dining area with seating for 4, great deck with huge mountain views, and a really inviting living room. My favorite feature is either the views off the deck, or the incredible lighting that adds a ton of ambiance for a romantic getaway or for those who just need to relax after a long day in the mountains. It’s a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of life. BEDROOMS My home offers 1 bedroom plus sleeping for one or two more in the living room. Bedroom 1 - A great little master bedroom with attached bathroom. The comfortable queen bed is in a little nook surrounded by pendant lights and sheer curtains. It’s relaxing and extremely romantic! Sleeping Area - The sofa converts to a bed that’s slightly smaller than a full size bed. It’s fine for two kids, 1 adult, or two very very cozy sleepers. Linens are underneath the sofa (it pops up). LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Deck - This is the hallmark of my home, and it's a favorite place to spend time. Because my home is up on a hillside, you will feel like you’re in a treehouse. You can look down over the town, and out across the Estes Valley to Prospect Mountain and Old Man Mountain. You can walk about 4-5 blocks to the base of the aerial tramway that can zip you up to the top of Prospect Mountain (season dependent) and get a great view of the entire National Park.. Living Room - You'll pass much of your time here on the incredibly cozy and comfortable sofa. Twinkly lights and bamboo pendants light up the space, and a beautiful accent wall of plants will keep things alive and natural feeling. There are a few puzzles/games in the hutch if you want to detach from technology. WiFi - The bungalow has a great WiFi router so you’ll enjoy a strong 100Mbs connection for streaming, entertainment and work, with no dead zones. COOKING Kitchen - The kitchen is fully stocked It features an oven, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, various small appliances, cutlery, dishes, utensils, bowls/pots/pans and virtually anything else you may need or want. It opens directly to the dining area so you can socialize as someone's cooking. ESTES PARK'S MANY AWARDS Estes has become an awesome year-round destination over the last five years.
My cabin sits on a quiet hillside that's literally steps from downtown Estes Park. There is no better location in the entire zip code! You can walk to all the best coffee shops, breweries, restaurants and shops in town -- you can even listen to live music at Bond Park -- and still come home to a private, quiet retreat. The cabin's extremely unique location allows you to skip all the traffic in Estes Park and zip straight into Rocky Mountain National Park along Highway 34. What's more, you'll likely see hummingbirds, deer, and even elk off the deck! It doesn't get any better!

Love Nest cabin is especially designed for couples. Fronting the Big Thompson River it is a spacious cabin with a king bed, gas fireplace, indoor 5x5 jetted bath tub w/fountain along with a full kitchen. Conveniently situation between downtown Estes Park (1.1 mile east) and Rocky Mountain National Park (1.1 mile west) it provides the feeling and sense of getting away from it all while being close enough to walk into down town Estes, to Coffee on the Rocks for a leisurely breakfast or a quick escape into the RMNP for a day of hiking and exploring. This cabin is part of Brynwood on the River lodging resort.

A private room and full bath in our home, which meets all your needs...clean, comfortable, affordable. Continental breakfast offered and full use of our kitchen for dinner or snacks. Laundry available for an additional $4.00/load fee. Quiet, safe and relaxing. BUT... we don't live in a neighborhood with restaurants or stores...you'll have to eat in Estes or bring your own evening meal/drinks. AND....this is our home; we live here too!
Quiet, hiking trails outside our door, occasional wildlife on our back hill.
We live between Glen Haven and Drake, CO. Only 12 miles from Estes Park, CO

Planen Sie also keine aufwändigen Mahlzeiten.

Reg #3394. This recently renovated 90 year old cottage was one of the original family homes in Estes Park. Reflective of the era in which it was built, it is a "tiny house" with low ceilings (7 foot!), cozy spaces, and a private courtyard patio. The cottage is located on a quiet, residential cul-de-sac just 3 blocks UP the hill from the center of downtown. It is 5 miles to the north entrance of RMNP and a 5 minute drive to the Stanley Hotel or Black Canyon Inn. WiFi & ROKU included. No A/C.
As an old cottage it has it's quirks, like a sloping kitchen floor and low ceilings -- not everyone appreciates the charm of an old home, but if you are open to it, this little house may just capture your heart like it has ours. If you prefer more sleek and modern accommodations, this may not be the right AirBnB for your stay in Estes Park. The bathroom door is right inside the bedroom — you must enter the bedroom to get to the bathroom. The private courtyard is perfect for relaxing outdoors, grilling, or enjoying breakfast coffee. The sunroom is perfect for evening naps before heading out to stargaze in the National Park. The neighbors are close, so please be respectful of the full time residents, after all, they may be the folks helping you at the grocery store or serving you drinks at the bar. We have a strict no pets policy.
Although this dense residential area is very close to downtown, it is also quiet and peaceful. The little 1920s guesthouse is at the back end of a cul-de-sac, so it doesn't have much traffic. Please make sure to confirm directions to the cottage with us. Downtown is walking distance from the cottage, 3 blocks down the hill brings you right to the center of Estes Park. Of course, that does mean you'll have to walk 3 blocks up hill to get back to the cottage. Best of all, you can get to the Horseshoe Park (north) entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park in less than 15 minutes without going through town! Popular wedding venues, like the Stanley Hotel and Black Canyon Inn are only 5 minutes away by car.

Vielen Dank Cathy!

Walk a few hundred yards into the Nat'l Park from my cozy, contemporary space influenced by my Norwegian roots (STR #6185). A full kitchen, queen bed, private bath, and big deck will ensure a great getaway. My house basically abuts the park, so you'll see lots of wildlife as you sip your coffee! + Walk into RMNP & The Rock Inn Tavern + 2 min drive to the Park visitor center + 5 min drive to town At 425 s/f it's a small space but big on amenities, perfect for your trip! NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. Thanks for checking out the south apartment in my newly remodeled duplex, perfectly situated just footsteps from Rocky Mountain National Park's boundary. You will love its cleanliness and modern, cozy vibe inspired by my Norwegian roots. It's well appointed with new flooring, new paint, new living room sofa, new bed, and more, and the brand new fully equipped kitchen will allow you to feel at home during your Estes Park vacation. People who have stayed here before have raved: "We loved the privacy and beautiful night skies. Saw tons of elk at the house." "Very close to downtown and restaurants but also secluded." "Absolutely lovely and clean residence!" "Perfect spot for exploring the park. The home was lovely and made great use of space!" I spent nearly three months during the winter of 2019 working to create a quiet and relaxing sanctuary for your mountain retreat. Improvements include: + Fresh paint throughout + Comfy modern couch + New flooring throughout + A brand new queen mattress for a great rest. + Super fast WiFi with no dead zones My favorite feature is the great views off the front porch. It's surrounded by mountains and you can walk into the National Park right from the front door. It's only a few hundred yards away! BEDROOMS My home offers 1 bedroom, plus sleeping for two more on a living room sofa bed. Bedroom 1 - A comfortable memory-foam mattress will ensure a good night sleep after a long day of hiking. Attached is a closet for your gear. There are cool bohemian curtains on bedroom door and on one window, while the eastern windows feature blackout shades to ensure a sound night's rest. If you like to wake up with the sunrise, you can leave them up and watch the room light up in the mornings. Bedroom 2 - Not really a bedroom, but the living couch turns into a full size bed that can comfortable accommodate two. A spare set of sheets and blankets is in the chaise part of the couch, which flips up. LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Living Room - There's a spacious dining room table and a comfy couch to lounge in while you stream your favorite Netflix series on the speedy WiFi. WiFi - My home employs a mesh WiFi network with no dead zones. A strong 100Mbps connection will allow you to stream and work without any issues. LAUNDRY & COOKING Kitchen - The kitchen has everything you need to cook: a full stove and oven, fridge and freezer, and assortment of pots and pans. There are knives, cutting boards, wine glasses, coffee mugs, and a french press so you can get your caffeine fix before you enjoy the park. Laundry - My tiny space features a full size washer and dryer that you are free to use.
The Valhalla neighborhood is a small collection of about 30 small historic homes and vacation cabins. There are other buildings nearby so if you are looking for total isolation, another home may be better for you. That said, the location is awesome. You can hike out your door and straight into the National Park. The top of Eagle Cliff Mountain, which my home sites on the side of, has one of the best views in all of Estes Park. Standing atop it afford an unobstructed view of Beaver Meadows and all the high peaks along the Continental Divide. There's an unofficial trailhead about 3 minutes from the door. My home is on the west side of Estes Park, so you don't have to brave downtown traffic to get into the National Park. Driving into the center of town is a short 7 minute journey, and the closest grocery store is 5 minutes away.
