Stan was very nice and communication was great!! However, there were tons of spider webs and bugs around the home which made us feel uncomfortable. The odor was also a bit interesting almost smelt like bug spray. But the location was great and very close to downtown Ellijay.

Stan's place is very eclectic and interesting. The woodwork and floor tiles create a very cozy atmosphere. The bed is comfortable, and the frame is gorgeous. Recommended.

The cottage was super clean and very cute and cozy. We loved our stay! The shower had amazing wall jets and the bed was extremely comfy.

The place was in a beautiful spot and offered a very inviting atmosphere. Cool wood interior with an awesome porch and spot by the river to relax. It truly felt like home and I would recommend it to any.

This was our second visit at King's Keep and we just love the way Rick and Stacey make you feel so welcome in the wonderful mountain home! We booked originally in April for my birthday and enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked again in June. We can't wait to come back in the Fall to see the colors and changing of the seasons. Their back porch with the fans and the shade was an ideal spot to read a book or sit and just stare and lose yourself in your thoughts. The Day's do everything possible to make your stay an enjoyable one. This truly is a great place to visit and Ellijay has some outstanding restaurants and shops. A perfect place to get away.

We booked King's Keep as a side trip from Florida for my 60th Birthday. Just seeing the photo's of this wonderful house; I knew we made the right choice. The Day's are a wonderful couple who along with their great dogs - Mimi, Butter Bean and Max welcome you into their home with open arms. They were the quintessential Southern couple full of hospitality and charm. The King bedroom was superb, a most comfortable bed and great bathroom. But the best was the incredible kitchen and back porch. The scenery was beyond words with Spring in full swing. Being away from the city made for a quiet and peaceful respite before we came back to the "real world". We had the front porch to ourselves and was rocked to sleep by a water fountain near our bed room window. My husband and I will definitely book with Rick and Stacey Day again and again. We have made friends for life and I urge anyone looking for a great small town feel with some great restaurants and shops, then Ellijay GA and King's Keep is for you.

Rick & Stacey provided a very pleasant experience on my first Airbnb trip. They were very prompt in responding to our reservation request which helped us better plan our somewhat last minute trip. The address was easy to find and their home was beautiful. Upon entering you have your own little living space with a fridge, big screen TV, books, and DVDs. The room we stayed in had its own bathroom which was also convenient. The room was fully stocked with extra blankets, an iron, ironing board, hangers, and toiletries. What was perfect about this place was its location. We traveled to Ellijay for mountain biking and hiking and their place is nestled perfectly in between Bear Creek Trail and Amicalola Falls (it's about a 30 minute drive in either direction). Overall I had a great experience and definitely plan on coming back in the future. P.S. Rick & Stacey will talk as little, or as much as you'd like. We took advantage of getting to know them and are really glad we did. They made for great conversation while sitting on the back porch and sipping on some wine. :)

Staying with Talitha was a lovely experience. She was attentive, and always on hand to respond any queries. The house was clean, tidy and well presented. The bed we slept in was extremely comfortable, and all the rooms are pleasant spacious. Situated in the beautiful Georgia forest, it was very quiet with some great wildlife to see and hear - we were delighted to see hummingbirds and fireflies whilst sitting on the front porch! Talitha's house is very calming space, particularly if you've spent the day sightseeing. Thanks Talitha, we had lovely time!

This was a great location and a wonderful host. We were so pleased with everything Talitha did for us to make our stay so wonderful. She took time to recommend many places to visit and eat. Her boys showed us around the resort and were very helpful. We had an exceptional time and would highly recommend this home. We will definitely be returning for many more stays.

Very cozy cabin in the woods. Clean and comfortable. We would recommend traveling in a vehicle with 4x4 option for to steep gravel roads.

Relaxing, remote, rustic, quaint, quiet cabin. Wonderful porch. Pretty creek on property with trails. Stairs to loft could be tricky for some, but there is a futon downstairs. Pictures are accurate. Last section of road is gravel. No cell phone service so make sure you have directions and key code saved.

It was a cool rustic cabin with interesting antique decor. It had a great porch and beautiful mountain views. If you are looking for seclusion though it might not be the best choice. There is another cabin just up the driveway.

We had a great time at Jolie' s house. It was very clean, pretty and plenty of activities to do around. We brought our bike what was a great idea. We did the Bear Loop Trail that was very beautiful. We caught lot of trouts on the creeks. I cannot wait to get back there. Thank you Jolie!!

Our hosts, Jolie and Steve had us immediately when they welcomed us with a bowl of berries they had just picked at a farm. That the house on the river was clean comfortable and surrounded by beauty made our stay perfect.

Wir haben nach genau einem solchen Haus gesucht - und haben es gefunden! Wie haben knappe 4 Tage dort verbracht, gefischt, relaxt,grilliert und einfach die Ruhe und die idyllische Umgebung genossen. Einzige Minuspunkte: - Die Anfahrt innerhalb des Resorts! Bis wir das Haus gefunden haben war die reiste Odysse (Eine Wegbeschreibung erhielten wir zwar vom Besitzer, jedoch nur wenn man von Atlanta her anreist). - Der Locker-Code für den Eintritt ins Haus wurde uns leider falsch angegeben. Das heisst, wir standen vor dem Haus und konnten nicht rein! Und es war bereits am eindunkeln... Wir mussten den ganzen Weg zurück zum Resort-Eingang, wo uns die Dame an der Rezeption netterweise weiterhelfen konnte (nach etlichen Telefonaten..).

We stayed at Seth's place for a couple of nights over a weekend, and found it had plenty of room for 7 of us to sleep comfortably and spread out a little. We were only there for 1 full day that we spent on hanging out on the river, and had a great time. The double layer porch was great, and you can hear the river flowing from it which was awesome. I would go back. A couple things to keep in mind: The fire pit area sits by the river on a gravel slope and there are no chairs out there. Also, there is a downed tree that extends about 20 feet into the river. Neither of these things got in our way have having a good time, but we wished we would have known.

This is a perfect cabin with that great river view. Bring some tubes and just relax in the water. Wake up to that perfect river view and sounds. Will come back again. Seth is a great host. Constantly was in touch and answering all questions.

Such an amazing home! Extremely remote and secluded but felt very safe the whole time. The home and location was even more beautiful than described. It is deep inside a gated community so the drive to get in/out of the gates is about 20 minutes each way. (Part of which made it feel so secluded.) Thank you for a beautiful trip to remember!!

Seth was kind enough to confirm our last minute reservation the night before we checked in. His riverfront cabin is an incredible adult retreat location. Clean, beautiful view, everything needed for a great stay is supplied. Things to be aware of: - this home is part of a river resort community that is very large. It literally takes 20 minutes navigating through steep and twisting gravel roads to reach the main road (gates to the community). - this home is on a very steep drive and you are not allowed to pull all the way to the top. If you have a lot to carry in, you will have to walk up and down the stairs several times. - a house phone is provided for safety, but I did not have cell service inside the cabin. Wi-fi was a little spotty but we had severe weather. Maybe that was the culprit? In conclusion, if you're looking for a place to hide away for a few days, get your provisions in advance and check out Seth's place! If you have young children or plan to come and go frequently, this may not be the place for you.

Location is secluded. Cabin has everything you need. As many others described getting in and out of the community takes a good 15-20 minutes but it is a pleasant drive with deer and other wildlife. Lots of stairs to get up to the cabin and then up to the main floor since you enter through the basement. This was mentioned several times in the description and reviews so we knew what to expect. Thanks for a great stay!

The tiny house was perfect! Just what we needed for a quick weekend getaway. The community had plenty of amenities if you wanted to use them & the house was well equipped. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was just as described but much cuter in person and did not feel tiny at all. We stayed here for a short weekend with our pup and very much enjoyed ourselves. Bob was responsive and directions were easy to follow. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.

Absolutely perfect for what I intended-a hiatus with just my dog. The cabin is comfortably minimalist-cozy and simple but not lacking of anything. Bob was very easy to reserve with and accessible throughout my stay. This is on my go to list for future stays without a doubt.

The cabin worked out perfect for our stay. We were 3 couples and everyone had plenty of space. Each couple had their own room with a queen bed and own bathroom. Access to the river is steep but was worth the adventure to take the kayaks. The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway.

Our family group of twelve - from the ages of 9 to 83 - had an amazing, memorable time at this beautiful, secluded place. The home is wonderful and fully equipped from top to bottom, and the setting is beautiful. We enjoyed tubing down the creek and just relaxing beside the water (though we underestimated how steep the walk down really is!); stargazing, and grilling/making s'mores at the stunning outdoor fireplace; and taking in the incredible mountain views from the house itself. All in all, a perfect vacation for our family, and we hope to return!

Everything was better than expected. Parke was accessible, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. It felt like I was staying at a friend's place for the weekend. The pictures don't do it justice because you can't quite capture how amazing the home is without seeing it for yourself. I can't say enough good things about the experience and Parke. I'd love to have another family get together and stay in the exact same place.

This is my first experience using Airbnb. I have used (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) many times and have been very lucky with my rentals but I must say that Fish Tale Cove was the best home I've ever rented. Parke and his wife were very friendly and had anticipated our every need. They provided a s'mores package which was so thoughtful and checked on us during the weekend to be sure we ok. Their home is beautiful and very well maintained and had everything we needed. The property was beautiful and we were able to enjoy the outdoor fireplace and the creek. It is a perfect setting with lots of privacy that you don't normally have in other rentals. I highly recommend this home.

The owners of this property go so far above and beyond to make you feel welcome and to make sure you have a absolutely everything you could possibly need and then some!! The home is very spacious, with beautiful finishes and decor and stocked with absolutely everything for having a great family vacation. They even had a smores gift basket with marshmellow sticks waiting for us upon arrival and fire places already set up with wood & kindling ready to light (and even extra wood)

This property is FANTASTIC. Parke was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I can't say enough, the property is heaven. We played all day on the hills and the creek with our children. The house was perfect for watching Wimbledon, kids playing and long dinners with old friends. We stayed here en route from Michigan to Florida, wanting a "vacation from the vacation" before going home. This was exactly what we were looking for. Nothing too fancy, but with plenty of room for my wife and three children (two teens and one pre-teen). Tim's home is tucked into a peaceful spot with a nice view of mountain ranges and with cows grazing in the distance out back. We loved eating breakfast and dinner on the back porch, even when it rained. The location is very rural, but convenient to Elijay, Blue Ridge, Amicalola Falls, river tubing, orchards, gem mining, etc. And the price was very reasonable. A great overall experience.

This house was so cozy, and it was the perfect retreat for our family vacation! Tim was a fantastic host, and everything was perfect for us. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! This wasn't just a house, it was a HOME.

Our stay at the Harrison Haven was great. Wanted a quiet getaway from Atlanta with a few friends... Ellijay was the perfect distance and the Harrison's home was warm and comfortable and the landscape surrounding the house was beautiful and serene. Just what we needed!

We had a great stay!

Luana's place was a great place to stay and was secluded and quiet. It allows you to get away from the distractions of life and enjoy nature. It does take a little time to drive to things outside of the resort community. We had a great time overall.

This was the perfect place to relax before taking our daughters to college, one for her first year and the other for her final year. It rained most of our visit, but we were still able to enjoy the luxurious hot tub, and our girls spent hours putting a puzzle together in front of the fireplace. Luana always responded immediately to any questions or concerns. The home is in a gated community, and the roads leading to the house are narrow and winding, so we avoided driving after dark.

The house was great and really clean, I love the quietness and just listening to the creek. I would love to stay there again.

The house is charming and seems to be recently updated. Everything is as pictured/described, so there were no surprises there. The kitchen was stocked with all of the basics, so we were able to eat many of our meals at the house. The beds were comfortable, and the bath towels were so soft! Luana responded quickly to all of our questions. Overall, we had a great stay and hope to return soon. We'll be recommending this place to family and friends!

This is such a lovely space tucked away in the mountains! There is lots to do outdoors and nearby! It was also a great space to stay in to rest and relax! The hot tub was wonderful, nice sized kitchen, really everything we could have asked for! Very clean and cozy! Would definitely recommend this space!

For those looking for peace and quiet, very nice location in an extensive private resort. We enjoyed the comfort and cozy character of the dwelling. The creek is a small pee flowing to the main river. The roads inside the field (guarded) like a rollercoaster and you can come across many animals (deer, squirrels, turtles, nuts ?, ...). We did not take advantage of the recreational areas of the field because our goal was not one!

Heaven's Gate is the perfect home for multi-generation family vacations, like mine was. The home and arrival instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. The home itself is absolutely beautiful. The views off the deck are incredible, the floor plan is very open allowing in tons of natural light, and the furniture is all comfortable. Also all the road are paved, which is not always the case in the mountains, and easy to get there. The only thing I would warn against is that there is no phone signal outside of the town of Ellijay, so if you have someone that gets lost or can't enter the gate code, have a back up plan because they won't be able to call you. My children absolutely loved all the toys, the fort, and the teepee. My entire family loved the house and we will be staying there again in the future as long as it's available. The only flaw, if I really had to dig and find one, is that the back yard was a bit overgrown. So even though my children could enjoy the fort, they couldn't run around in the yard. We had a great time and are so thankful we found this place! Highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Ellijay!

Our large family had a wonderful stay at the cabin. There was plenty of space for all of us and we loved having our dogs with us as well. Lee was great at communicating with us throughout the entire process, especially when we ran into some problems with the AC and hot tub. He was kind enough to give us a small refund for the problems we experienced and we were very grateful for that. I would caution to be on the lookout for scorpions though...we found many inside the cabin and had to tell the young children not to pick them up!

What a great place. The cabin could not have been more picturesque and perfect. The location was very private and the cabin is warm and inviting. I could sit on the deck for the rest of my life and be happy! Cannot say enough good things and will recommend to others.

This mountain cabin was as beautiful as described. It was the perfect place for my family and me to get together for a fun weekend. We ventured into Ellijay and to Blue Ridge but would have been perfectly content to stay at the cabin. The children loved all the games - air hockey, foosball, pool and board games. We hope to rent this cabin again next fall.

What a wonderful surprise to find exactly what the pictures show. My friend was able to have a great birthday and we had a great friend weekend. Everything was clean and nice. And everything that you would need as far as bare essentials was there. I definitely plan to return one day. Mr. Lee was available whenever we needed him and made it known from the beginning that if we needed him, not to hesitate to call. My friends and I were able to sit back and relax.
