Excellent petit appartement attaché à une ancienne maison magnifique. Distance idéale à pied du centre-ville de Keene (environ un demi-mille). Le petit-déjeuner et d'autres friandises ont été fournis et très bien sélectionnés. Notre seule plainte était que le lit était un peu difficile pour quelqu'un de plus grand que 5'11 ", car vos pieds vont coller les échelons dans la planche de pied du lit. Sinon, c'était un espace charmant.

I decided last-minute to stay overnight in Keene for a meeting further upstate; booking, communication, directions, check-in, and the place itself were all perfect and the little touches around the apartment were delightful. Who puts out comfort food like old-school snak-pak peanut-butter crackers AND a sophisticated palate-cleanser like dark chocolate with hot (!) peppers AND a fine bowl of perfectly-ripened nectarines? Klauzine and Vincenzo, apparently. Who makes up a bed that, somehow, was comfortable through a warm night and a cool, damp morning (I like to sleep with the window just cracked, something my partner can't get with but a quirk I indulge when I'm traveling)? Klauzine and Vincenzo. Who...okay, enough with the rhetorical conceit: I booked this place without looking at the reviews -- the pictures sold me (and they do accurately reflect the look and size of the apartment) -- but I did glance back at guest comments when I woke up this morning and have to say I'm not sure what the problem is or was with the guest who complained about the sofa/sleeper. I'll admit that I had driven for a good few hours to get to Keene but shortly after I arrived yesterday afternoon I laid down on that couch and promptly fell fast asleep. I woke up with none of my body parts any more sore than they usually are these days, and I hadn't even folded it out to twin-bed size. Anyway, this is a sweet, private, comfortable spot that looks like a great base for exploring Keene (on foot) and environs -- or a perfect on-the-way-to-the-great-north stopover place for folks on the move. Plus, and this is a bit of a thing for me, every room was immaculate. The floors were so clean I actually tried to find some lint or whatever and realized -- yes, I looked -- that someone had vacuumed under the bed -- like, really vacuumed with a sense of purpose -- very recently. It's spring; there's pollen everywhere; I'm allergic; I can see it and sense it on any surface: nothing. The entire place had been vacuumed before I arrived. I sound like an obsessive but I want to express how relaxing and just plain pleasant my brief stay was.

Excellent communication with Klauzine and Vincenzo and a simply fantastic stay!! If you come in the evening, the house will be on the LEFT after you pass through the center of Keene. Comfortable space with many kind, thoughtful touches. Excellent wi-fi and super easy check-in/check-out. I would happily stay here again!

We were looking for a quiet stay in the woods in Vermont and that is exactly what we got. We had such a peaceful time in beautiful surroundings. The garden is lovely, and the close hiking trails are easy to maneuver. The hosts were very helpful with directions and suggestions. If you are looking for a quiet area then look no farther.

Bill and Cheryl have a great cottage, and are great hosts! The cottage itself was tidy, cozy, and warm, and the two of them were extremely friendly and attentive to anything we needed. But the real highlight is the surrounding wilderness, and the miles of secluded and scenic trails that cut through it. Overall, a wonderful getaway to the countryside that I would highly recommend!

Cheryl and Bill's apartment is about three times as beautiful as the photographs show. Our friends stayed there, and they loved it. We felt proud to be able to offer it. In addition, while we were unable to meet Cheryl, Bill took care of us, and all communications were warm and easy. Cheryl and Bill even left a bowl of organic fruits for our friends, as well as granola and coffee for breakfast.

Great hosts and a wonderful idyllic guest house on beautiful acreage. A perfect springtime retreat in proximity to everything southern Vermont has to offer. Cheryl's homemade granola left for guests was yummy, and the space was very private. We hope to be back!

We had a very nice, relaxing time at the End of the Road! Cheryl was very communicative prior to our visit and welcomed us when we arrived. The apartment was very well kept and was even better than expected. Bill had an opportunity to say hi as we were getting ready to leave, so it was nice to meet both of them. Only wish we would have had more that one night there!

I counted the days until I could return to this beautiful piece of heaven on earth. When I got there Cheryl greeted me with a hug, and I settled in to the cosy little house. Easy and kind hosts and the attention to detail, not to mention the beautiful fall foliage made it such a joy to be there. I miss it already!

Cheryl and Bill's cottage was a delight to stay in. Very private, clean and quiet, it proved a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area which offers so much. The very serviceable kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with more than just basics including granola, coffee, milk, fruit and yoghurt. Inside was spotless while outside were beautifully tended gardens. I was working on this trip and my comings and goings did not provide an opportunity to meet the hosts but I felt pampered non the less. Two desks and good wifi allowed me to get work done and in comfort on the computer while warmed by a gas fireplace. Located at the end of a dirt road, the cottage is very quiet but within easy reach of both Brattleboro and Putney. I will happily revisit Cheryl and Bill's in the future and highly recommend it.

Zum Beispiel, Verlängerungskabel und zusätzliche Steckdosen hatte aufnehmen moderne Elektronik eingebaut werden. Die Warmwasser-Heizung war schön und heiß, heiß, heiß! Die drei von uns Mädchen lief nie aus heißem Wasser. Das will etwas heißen! Alles in allem war der Raum charmant, bequem, super bequem und mit dem alle Vermont Charme. Ich werde hier auf jeden Fall bei jedem Besuch.

Mein Mann und ich hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Jaki Platz. Wir konnten überall zu Fuß unser Auto für das Wochenende geparkt zu verlassen. Es hat Spaß gemacht Schneeschuhwandern im Wald nur wenige Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt.

Ruhig, sauber, geräumig und einladend Ort für ein paar Minuten von der Innenstadt zu Fuß zu bleiben. Ausgezeichnet!

Jaki Wohnung ist sehr komfortabel und sehr nah an alles in der Innenstadt Brattleboro. Es liegt auf einem schönen, ruhigen Seitenstraße. Ich werde hier wieder übernachten, das nächste Mal, wenn ich in der Stadt bin. A +++

Jaki Platz war perfekt. Es war sauber, komfortabel, gemütlich. Ich mochte, dass es sich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es ist in einer großartigen Lage - sehr einfach zu vom Bahnhof zu bekommen. Jaki ist ein fantastischer Gastgeber: freundlich, hilfsbereit, aufmerksam. Ich würde auf jeden Fall empfehlen bei Jaki des Aufenthaltes - ich werde wieder, wenn ich jemals wieder in Brattleboro.

Das Bett ist bequem und angenehm, und die Wohnung ist gut beleuchtet. Die Küche ist sauber und die vorgesehenen Geschirr und Kochgeschirr sind von höherer Qualität (nicht abgelegten alten abgebrochenen und Kunststoffgeschirr). Für den Preis und die Lage ist unschlagbar und ich kann es sehr empfehlen.

Andrea und ihre Familie fühlten wir uns sehr willkommen! Ihre Wohnung ist gemütlich, ruhig und komfortabel. Ihren Hund, Milo, machte unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer! Es war der perfekte entspannende und low-key weg.

Andrea Hotel ist sehr sauber, und meine Frau liebte das Dekor. Ich empfehle dies für alle, wir liebten mit einer Spur und einem kleinen Bach ein sehr kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. Jeder, der hier bleibt werden es lieben!

Es war köstlich lokal gerösteten Kaffee auf uns wartete auf die Theke und Bio-Milch im Kühlschrank! Große Weise, den Tag zu beginnen. Die Betten waren zum Schlafen bereit - das ist schön, weil wir spät angekommen war,

Die kleine Wohnung war genau, wie dargestellt. Ich glaube, ich würde es als zu charakterisieren "rustikal" Nicht poliert, aber recht komfortabel, sauber, still - genau das, was ich suchte und erwartete suchen. Ich bedaure nur, dass ich nicht früh genug buchen, um zwei aufeinanderfolgende Nächte zu bekommen - nicht genug Zeit, um die Gegend gründlich zu erkunden. Vielleicht beim nächsten Mal.

Was für ein schöner Ort für ein Wochenende! Unsere Gastgeber sorgte dafür, dass wir wussten, wo alles war und dann verließ uns, um sich auszuruhen und zu entspannen, zu wissen, wir sie nennen könnte, wenn wir brauchten. Die Lage war ruhig und schön - der Weg durch den Bach ist wunderbar. Wir haben sogar einen Platz zu schleudern unseren Hängematten mit Ringschrauben bereits in den Bäumen installiert! Die Wohnung selbst war bezaubernd, mit allem, was wir uns nur wünschen - jede Menge Bettwäsche und Kissen, schönes Licht. Es war sauber und hell und Öko-Bewusstsein, das ist ein großes Plus für uns. Auch schien es, gab es keine künstliche Duftstoffe in einer der Reinigungsmittel, das ein großer Bonus für meinen Partner, der sehr empfindlich auf Chemikalien verwendet wird. Auch unser Hund haben uns mit der Gastgeber Hund, so dass wir zu beobachten, sie zu spielen, während wir in den Wald spazierte. Vielen Dank für einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt!

We loved our last visit to Greenough's Sunny Sustainable Apartment that we had to do it again. Our second visit was just as wonderful as the last. The apartment is spacious, clean and relaxing. Her chickens bring lots of laughs and smiles and Greenough's hospitality and adventure tips are always great! We could not recommend this apartment more. We always wish we would stay for a whole month!

We had the best time at Greenough ' s place! It was even more charming in person. Putney is magical. We had plenty of room for five with two on the floor. Greenough was super accommodating, and helped us get situated and coordinate parking. I would give my highest recommendation.

We had an amazing time at Greenough's in Putney. The apartment is a converted barn with a shower, very effective little kitchen, and loft area. It's everything you could want in a rustic getaway, even the outhouse was TOTALLY fine, you don't need to be afraid. Putney itself is a really cute town with a nice co-op and general store. What really made our trip though, was the hospitality of Greenough. She brought us some extra breakfast, cheese, crab apple jam, and even sent us off with cookies, though we really weren't ready to leave!

We had such a great time! Greenough is an amazing host. Fresh eggs, raspberries and goat milk in the morning! We enjoyed an apartment, books, magazines, green flowers and all atmosphere. It was relaxing to hear chickens and other birds outside, smell flowers after rain, walk around in the tall grass. Than you so much!

Greenough and her apartment are equally amazing. Greenough is an incredibly gracious host that was very accessible to us when needed. I used the place to serve as a writer's retreat as well as a getaway from the city and it certainly exceeded our expectations. The apartment has plenty of nooks and crannies for you to utilize and the windows brought in enough natural light that we didn't need any lights. Also, for someone who lives in NYC it was great to truly enjoy the stars at night. Greenough has literally thought of everything one may possibly need so it's not really necessary to bring anything except your suitcase. The neighborhood is full of friendly neighbors and lovely farms. Truly a great getaway!

Greenough is a very unique host. She lives by high ecological standards and if you're willing to make efforts in that way, you'll truly enjoy her house and environment. She has very helpful tips to share about the area, which is always great. And the space you will be sleeping in is rustic but very charming! I strongly recommend it.

Christina is an amazing host! This is a perfect place to stay if visiting Keane.

Christina's place is charming. While it's on a farm, it's really close to downtown Keene. (We didn't walk it, but it didn't seem far at all.) Our dog, Rudy, felt very much at home in the apartment and it was a great value for the space and location.

This is a beautiful weekend escape! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and the apartment was clean and perfect in every way!! I will definitely be back!

Perfect, beautiful location. It was great to wake up and see the farm and all the horses. Close to Keene shopping. Apartment was big and had all the amenities you would need for a short or long vacation. Big plus was the on site farm stand.

The Fort Hill apartment is nice. It is simple and comfortable in a quiet location very close to Putney village. Our hosts were friendly yet let us have our privacy.

It's also right in the center of town, within easy walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. And Roger is a wonderful host who thought of everything we might need. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in town, trust me, this is it!

Roger was superb as a host, meeting us as appointed to give us the keys, being very responsive by mobile phone, and telling us all the necessary facts about the apartment. It was very contemporary with all modern fittings. The gourmet, granite and stainless kitchen was well appointed, the linens were of the highest quality, and the towels were plush and very absorbent. It was extremely clean and neat, and the furnishings were very comfortable. He even left the pantry and refrigerator well stocked with cold drinks and some dry goods. We look forward to another visit to Keene, and we have already booked again with him in August for an even longer stay. The apartment is extremely convenient to the downtown, the Monadnock Coop for food shopping, and the local stores and cafes. We would highly recommend Roger's apartment if you are visiting Keene.

This condo is great! Lots of space, very clean, high-end features, right downtown in adorable Keene...not sure what else you could want! There's even 2 full bathrooms, which was great for us in that we could put our toddler down for a nap in the bedroom and still get ready for the wedding we were in town for. Roger was very easy to work with and quick to respond through AirBnB as well as by phone. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting this cute NH town.

Once again, Roger was superb as a host, making sure we got the keys on time and being very responsive by email. The modern apartment is still in excellent condition, and very clean. The gourmet, granite and stainless kitchen was even better equipped than during our first stay, the linens were of the highest quality, and the towels were plush and very absorbent. It was very comfortable. We would highly recommend Roger's apartment if you are visiting Keene. We hope to stay again next year.

Myself, my husband, and our toddler stayed in Roger's apartment for a weekend in September. The apartment is ideally located in the center of Keene and has two parking spaces nearby. It is spacious, well laid out, in a quiet building, and comfortable with nice amenities like laundry, wifi, and large TV. Roger was a great host and ensured that our stay was trouble free. I highly recommend Roger's place if you are travelling to Keene.

Calvin war ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Er war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns Tipps für Restaurants in der Nähe und auch für die Weiterreise gegeben. Downtown Brattleboro ist fußläufig zu erreichen und bietet zahlreiche Restaurants, Café und kleine Läden. Das Zimmer war wie beschrieben und das Bett sehr bequem.

Calvin war sehr freundlich und unkomploziert. Das Zimmer sehr zentral aber sehr ruhig. Ich kamn diese Unterlunft empfehlen.

We enjoyed our stay with Calvin. Brattleboro has a very nice downtown that is within easy walking distance from his home. The Brattleboro Retreat is nearby and this would be an ideal place to stay if that is your destination. It would even be possible to walk from the Amtrak station to this listing. For travelers on I91, this listing is very close to exit 2 but away from highway noise. There are also walking trails located up the hill in this neighborhood. Brattleboro is a town that has made huge strides in recent years, opening a new, larger food coop, and now nearing completion of renovations in a large downtown building. It has retained an air of 60's idealism and is one of the less widely known great small cities. Stay with Calvin and you can check it out.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Calvin's house. The room is spacious and comfortable -- great bed -- and the apartment, like the host himself, feels laid-back and welcoming. The location, just few blocks from downtown Brattleboro, couldn't have felt more central but there was very little street noise.

I couldnt ask for a better setting when visiting my childhood hometown of Brattleboro. The location was perfect: close enough to mainstreet for walking but removed enough to be quiet and relaxing. The room is spacious and cozy and the nice bathroom was immediately next to it. Calvin and MD where great hosts and gave me all the privacy I needed. Will be my first choice when I am back in town!

Calvin and M.D.'s home was as described; very warm and friendly. Although I was there less than ten hours (flights rerouted), I fell asleep immediately after a very late night arrival. Calvin greeted me with morning coffee and great conversation! M.D. provided a T-shirt for me to sleep in since I arrived without my bag which was delayed. I enjoyed my very brief overnight visit to Brattleboro for an event. Calvin's home is very close to quirky downtown Brattleboro and is located in a quiet neighborhood with lovely views. A wonderful room, we were greeted and helped to settle in. Lots of light in the room, well designed. And a few minute walk into downtown and the Stone Church where our event was.

Staying at Calvin's apartment was certainly more comfortable and lovely than a motel. The room was private, the bed comfortable and the bathroom close by. Calvin is a super great guy and fun to talk to on top of that. I would definitely recommend staying at his place if you're visiting Brattleboro and want to be near town.

If you're staying in Brattleboro Emily's place is great! It was adorable and cozy, and we felt very at home. It's also a lovely secluded area but completely walkable to the downtown area. We had a great time!

The apartment was really cute. Space wise, was great for us as a couple. Kitchen was a bit sketchy if you want to cook. Cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee and toast was all we could manage. There is a single burner induction cook top but we couldn't figure out how to use it. Having said that, we found lots of good places to eat in and around Brattleboro.

Everything was wonderful! Emily is a spectacular host. All instructions for entry and use of the apartment were crystal clear. And she and her husband were available to answer questions at a moment's notice. Would recommend to anyone and would stay there again!

Emily's place was exactly as described, cute and comfortable. Place was clean and comfortable. Bed were comfortable, and while the rooms were small there were two windows in each room that allowed for the cool Vermont air to circulate giving you the feeling of a much larger space. Did not use the kitchen other than to store beverages in the fridge, which were kept icy cold. Emily and Ben were very helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to do. Had a second couple stay with us for one of the nights and they found the place equally as charming. Would be glad to stay there again when visiting Brattleboro and southern Vermont.

This home gets high marks on many factors - proximity to downtown, peacefulness, security, cleanliness and a friendly host. We rented the entire apartment and for a little while it felt like our home. Robert was lovely and generous, very eager to make sure that we were comfortable. The apartment is tastefully renovated and has an eclectic mix of antique furniture. We had a very comfortable stay, a library of books to read, good wifi, full use of the kitchen - he pretty much thought of every detail! He provided us travel tips along the way and also respected our privacy. This place works for couples, singles or a group. Best to contact him before you book to confirm what is available. Brendan was a very nice host who was transparent, welcoming and mellow. It is a nice apartment that is thoughtfully decorated and close to Main St. in Brattleboro.

I traveled to Brattleboro for a class in the Japanese healing art, Jin Shin Jyutsu. Brendan's apartment was walking distance to everything and very pretty. He left everything laid out for me clearly and made me feel welcome. I appreciated having a comfortable place to rest after my long day.

Brendan's place was beautiful, warm, and spacious. My husband and I felt right at home. Brendan was away during our stay, but he left clear instructions for us about his space and was very responsive to our questions from afar. I loved that the home was nestled in a quiet part of town, and it was a quick walk to downtown Brattleboro. We really enjoyed our stay at Brendan's apartment.
