We felt very welcome at Eureka Retreat. The surroundings were wonderful. The sitting room outside of the bedroom was great. The gluten free breakfast waffles were much appreciated. We had great conversations with Michael and his guest. We had picked up a rocking chair prior to our visit that he let us store out of the rain. It is in a lovely, rustic rural setting. I wish we would have had time to explore the surrounding area more. I would love to go back and stay longer at Eureka some time in the future. If I were a performer, I would love to use the beautiful studio Michael has created.

Amazing spot! The house is so peaceful, everything so clean and handy. You can feel the inspiration of an artists home. We enjoyed the outdoor shower so much and the patio where we ate dinner. Andrea and Michael are beautiful people. We enjoyed chatting with them about art, positifs, travel, and more! I totally recommend staying there.

Michael and Andrea were perfect hosts! They were so accommodating and made us feel at home the moment we arrived. They steered us to some wonderful places to visit, including Nezinscot Farm and The Celebration Barn Theater. The outdoor shower was exquisite! We highly recommend this place!

The room is roomy and uncluttered. The studio below is huge, airy and inspiring. You may never find an airbnb with that amentity. I can easily see why this place is popular in summer, but let me tell you a secret-- I think most folks don't realize what a get-away this place is in the winter. there's forest views on all sides. the place is sundrenched, and with snow, its all the more bright. and that wood burning stove that heats the place toasly, smells so good, and gave this place that cozy feel.

Our experience at the cottage was amazing. We only stayed for one night and we wish we could've stayed longer. It was exactly as advertised and our hosts were so welcoming but also gave us our privacy. We would definitely book with them again!

Rocky and Katie are amazing! I am forever in debt to them for helping me with the proposal to my fiancé. They actually took delivery of my ring and helped get it to me without her knowing. I proposed at their cabin and everything went great. The cabin is absolutely wonderful. We visited in July and the weather was beautiful. The proximity to Hall's Pond is very convenient, we spent many hours hiking the trails and fishing. We certainly plan on returning sometime in the future. Thanks so much Rocky and Katie.

We really enjoyed our stay at this rustic cabin! It was only 40 minutes away from Sunday River and a perfect place to crash after snowboarding all day. Stayed here with two other friends and had plenty of space to setup a blow up mattress so we all had a bed. There was wifi available and really enjoyed the wood stove. The place was clean and well cared for! Can't wait to return for another ski weekend!

It was a great time staying in a cozy, secluded area. Very nice living space and I loved the fire burning stove.

I had a great time at Rocky's! I only wish I got to spend more time on the property. I was using it as a home base from which to visit my mother in a nearby town. I recommend the cabin for anyone looking for peace and quiet.

Such a wonderful weekend. I came to have a couple of quiet days away from the city, and that is exactly what I found. The hosts were wonderful - greeting me with eggs and fresh veggies from their garden - and the accommodations were very well kept and cozy as could be.

Wow, what a place! The yurt is as cozy as can be, and has so much room for activities. Mary is really accommodating and flexible, and made sure we had everything we needed. The area is absolutely beautiful in winter, and it felt like we had a whole world just to ourselves.

It was the perfect combo of cozy winter hide-out and camping! Mary was a great communicator and such a welcoming host. If you want to be half roughing it and half in the lap of luxury, this is the place.

The yurt was everything we wanted it to be- Mary is prompt and so warm and friendly. Really great place to stay and in the winter we had a lot of privacy.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette yourte confortable sur Pleasant Pond. Il est certainement une expérience agréable de se réveiller et entendre les sons de la nature tout autour de vous. Certains attendent marche de la dépendance dans le milieu de la nuit gênant, mais pour nous, ce fut une excellente occasion de regarder les étoiles magnifiques et vraiment les voir. Il est donc difficile de les voir quand vous y êtes lumières de la rue partout qui noient la beauté des étoiles. Nous nous sommes assis sur la plage le matin et juste regardé l'eau calme et détendu et bavardé. Encore un de ces luxes que nous prenez donc rarement le temps de faire quand la vie est occupé. Elle se passionne pour offrir la meilleure expérience possible. Elle fera tout ce qu'elle peut pour rendre votre séjour heureuse et épanouissante dans tous les sens. Elle est là quand vous avez besoin d'elle pour rien, mais jamais vous interrompt ou dérange pendant que vous allez sur votre entreprise. On ne pouvait pas demander un meilleur hôte. Il y a un grand droit de parcours de golf dans la rue, une magnifique ferme restaurant du marché à quelques miles. We loved staying in the yurt, very cool experience! We had a fire and went for a paddle in the pond the next morning. Very relaxing.

My sisters and I enjoyed our 3-night winter stay in this cozy little yurt. The furnishings are attractive as well as practical, and the beautiful gas fireplace provided plenty of warmth. The propane camp stove is certainly adequate for cooking and there are pots, pans, a griddle and dishes provided. Plan to carry in your water for drinking and cooking, but we found it convenient to melt snow for doing dishes and washing up. A very clean and attractively decorated privy is nearby for taking care of your business. And oh, I almost forgot... the large skylight in the middle of the yurt provides more than enough light during the day and a great view of the stars at night! If you are looking for a unique and relaxing winter getaway I highly recommend this yurt!

Mary went above and beyond, quite literally, in making our stay absolutely lovely. When our little city car got snowed in, Mary immediately plowed out the driveway and then helped push our car out (not an intense driveway or snowfall, just a wimpy car). She could not have been nicer about it. The yurt is set in a postcard scenic patch of woods and lake, which was beautiful covered in snow. The yurt itself is very warm and cozy with a gas fireplace, whisperlite stove, and lots of nice cookware. Quiet, peaceful, cozy. We can't wait to come back!

Super endroit à visiter pour les enfants - a eu beaucoup de plaisir. Ellen et Steven sont des gens merveilleux. La ferme locale de nourriture fraîche était si bon!

My stay was wonderful and my host, Ellen, was great. She was extremely helpful and knows the area well. The historic farmhouse is amazing and the barn is a "must see" along with the goats. My room was extremely comfortable and the atmosphere was very relaxing. What a fantastic place for a fun getaway! I am looking forward to a return trip next year!

Ellen was stellar, and her farm is beautiful! We were out and about for most of the weekend, and the weather was kind of crummy, so we didn't get to explore the property as much as we would have liked, but it was beautiful, cozy, and we really felt at home. Ellen was keen to offer coffee, directions, and advice about the area, which made us feel all the more welcome. We'd be happy to stay here again.

Beautiful, scenic setting!

We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed for one night at Martha's beautiful house while traveling the White Mountains. Martha (the host) was away this weekend, but we were welcomed by Martha's sweet and friendly parents who live across the street. They gave us great traveling advice and even gave us a glass of home made apple jam and a children's book Martha's mom had written. The breakfast was delicious and the place was clean, tidy, cozy, and welcoming. We fully recommend without reservations. We'd love to visit again!

Staying with Martha was a great pleasure. She is a very nice host, caring for her guests. She invited me into her family and we had a great evening. Her house is very nice. I stayed in a lovely room and had my own private bathroom. Breakfast was very nice. I really can recommend staying with Martha and I would love to do it again when I have the chance. Thank you very much for everything.

Martha and her parents (who live across the street) Were very friendly and welcoming. The exterior of the house was not quite finished, but the inside was very comfortable, clean, and new. I offered to cook for myself due to my dietary restrictions, and Martha was very accommodating with full use of the beautiful kitchen. I was there for a few day in the winter to ski at Sunday River, about 30 minutes away, not too far, nor too near ;) The neighborhood seemed very quiet and peaceful winter or not. I would be happy to stay here again!

Martha was the perfect host- very welcoming and accommodating. on our arrival since we hadn't been able to find a restaurant close by, she made us dinner and then made sure we had everything we needed before giving us the privacy of downstairs. We then woke up to a delicious breakfast and plenty of ideas from Martha on how we could explore local Maine. The accommodations were just what we were looking for- comfortable and private room, very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. I absolutely recommend staying at Home in the Maine Woods.

Wir können nicht genug gute Dinge sagen. Herzliches Willkommen. Schöne Haus, Hof und See. Wir hatten das Gefühl einen schönen Frieden für die Woche, die wir dort waren. Kajaks und Kanus zur Verfügung, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Kühlschrank, hatten wir Zugang zur Küche zu den Mahlzeiten und den Grill zu machen. Ihr Frühstück war inklusive frischem Obst und Joghurt, Muffins, Saft und mehr .. sehr großzügig! Wir liebten ihre Sommer mit Blick auf den See und großen Hof und Garten und Stunden dort verbracht zu lesen und Rätsel zu arbeiten. Es war nur eine Stunde an der Küste für Tagesausflüge zu Orten wie Boothbay Harbor und Leuchttürme. Wir hatten unser eigenes Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und eigenem Bad, die jeden Tag mit neuen, frischen Qualität Handtücher gereinigt wurde. Das war eine Überraschung! Sie waren sehr großzügig mit Früchten und als wir abreisten, Brenda packte uns mit 1/4 ihrer Killer selbst gemachte Käsekuchen aus. Wir waren Babys und verwöhnen lassen! Wir hoffen, Denis und Brenda in Kalifornien zu sehen. Dies ist ein großartiger Ort.

Denis begrüßte mich sehr, obwohl dies war mein erster Aufenthalt von Airbnb. Sowohl der private und gemeinsame Räume wurden gut gereinigt, und er war so nett, dass ich Aufenthalt genießen konnte. Das war ein toller Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und großzügig mit ihrer Zeit. Das Zimmer und die Einrichtungen waren erstklassig. Spotless Bad und Bett-Zimmer und zusätzliche Dinge wie Zahnpasta, wenn Sie waren. Das Frühstück war gut und guten Kaffee!

Die Lage auf Brettun Teich ist wunderbar und sehr leicht zu finden. Leider war unser Aufenthalt zu kurz und es gab regen, und so waren wir nicht in der Lage, die Außenanlagen zu genießen, die bei einem längeren Aufenthalt möglich gewesen wäre. Unterkünfte waren sehr sauber und gut organisiert, und der private Bett und Bad funktionierte wirklich gut. Denis und Brenda waren hervorragende Gastgeber bei unserem Besuch, macht uns zu Hause sofort nach der Ankunft fühlen. Wir wachten am Morgen zu einem großen Frühstück verteilt und sortiert (und lecker) Kaffees, die wir mit Denis und Brenda vor einem knisternden Feuer in einem Franklin-Ofen geteilt. Wir haben einige große Gespräch über die Gegend und Lebenserfahrungen. Es war traurig zu verlassen, aber wir freuen uns auf die Möglichkeit der kommenden für einen zukünftigen Besuch zurück. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Schönes Haus in Livermore, Denis und Brenda waren tolle Gastgeber. Es gab ein Problem mit unseren Geräten die Verbindung zum Wi-Fi, als wir ankamen, aber Brenda war sehr hilfsbereit und schnell mit dem Problem. Loved mit den Kajaks auf dem See und wir hatten viel aus Frühstück (und Reise Snacks!). Danke für einen tollen Aufenthalt, sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr schöner Ort: schöne Landschaften, schönen See, riesiger Garten und schönes Zuhause! Das Frühstück war unser Lieblingsmoment und es ist möglich, alle möglichen Dinge zu tun! Alle Zutaten sind da, um mehr als einen himmlischen Aufenthalt zu verbringen. Brenda und Denis sind sehr nett und freundlich, haben wir wirklich genossen die Firma.
