The Cottage in East Poultney

The Cottage is located in historic East Poultney next to the old Poultney schoolhouse (now historical society). Slate Valley hiking/bike trails surround the area. About 1 mile to the town of Poultney, which has stores, shops, restaurants and a Pub. The sidewalk starts in front of the cottage which leads directly to town. Great for a walk, jog or bike ride. Pico, Killington and Bromley Mountains all less than an hour drive. 3 miles away from Lake St Catherine and under 10 miles to Lake Bomoseen.

Three cottages, each with lake view and shared dock, on pristine, quiet Sand Pond are perfect for a family gathering. Three cottages for one rental, offering privacy and indoor and outdoor space for being together. The main cottage sleeps four, has a full kitchen and a screened-in porch; the two studio cottages have kitchenettes and sleep two. It is not ideal for very young children or those who have difficulty walking up and down hill on uneven ground. 8.5% NH Meals & Rental tax applies.

Be assured everything is provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Our goal was to provide guests with a home away from home! We feel our cottage offers that and much more.

This is a bright and airy carriage house located on the second floor in a quiet walkable neighborhood. Living room has a drop down movie screen, brand-new sofa with chaise and pull out queen sized bed. Galley kitchen is new with a Smeg stove and oven, dishwasher. Bedroom has a queen size adjustable bed, 52 inch TV with wifi and cable. The bathroom has a soaking tub and a walk in shower a vanity with double sinks. The Beebe Farm was started in 1921 by Fred and Pearl Beebe. There are now four generations of Beebe's who have farmed this land.
