Stay with us if you’d like to be in the center of downtown Castleton. Stores, restaurants, the college and hike/bike rail trail are an easy walk. This is a very convenient location. We are also a short 30-40 minute drive to Pico and Killington ski areas. Five minutes to Lake Bomoseen. Recently updated, heat and AC, full bath, Wi-Fi, Qled tv, a comfortable king sized memory foam bed, a complete kitchenette. Reserved parking adjacent to entry. This family heirloom sits tucked away in the trees just off of Chester Mountain Road. Short trips to Bromley, Okemo, Stratton and Magic Mountains. Sleeps 8 comfortably with room for up to 10 on pull out couches. You will fall in love with the retro feel of this house, it's straight out of the 1980's, and has kept that charm over the years. We have consistently updated it with all of the amenities needed to relax, including Air Conditioning, High Speed wifi, Cable, big screen TV and sound bar.

Either way you’ll find tons of great outdoor activities & hiking, and lots of local shops and restaurants.

Cow Barn Lodge

Our home is located in MT. Tabor, Vermont, just off of Route 7, in a country setting with beautiful Mountain views of the Green Mountain National Forest, Dorset and Danby Mountains. The house is an old barn converted into a beautiful spacious home, on 4 acres. Snowmobiling from our place, plus 4 major ski areas less than 30 miles away. Hiking, fishing, swimming, golfing, and the Equestrian horse show are all nearby. as well as shopping in nearby Manchester and Rutland Vermont.

If you are looking for a cozy spot to relax in a small town, with fast internet and easy access to lots of fun activities, this house is it! On the main floor of the house, there is an open layout that includes a library, a small bar, a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and two bedrooms. Downstairs, there is a finished basement that includes a large family area with a huge couch (perfect for movies), a workspace, and a laundry space. Private parking and lots of outdoor space.

Granville NY has a large grocery store and other shops and is only a 15 min. drive.
