If you would rather go for a cultural discovery, Istria offers numerous historical monuments scattered throughout the entire peninsula, some of them dating as far back as the Roman empire. If you enjoy free climbing, you can practice it on the coast in Punta Corrente Park or in the Lim channel . In case you prefer harder slopes for climbing, you can find them in the inner part of Istrian peninsula. Rovinj is an excellent starting point if you are planning to take some excursions envolving sighseeing the natural beauties of the region, or observing the historical monuments, some of which are dated back to the Roman Empire. We fell in love with Rovinj and decided to buy an apartment here in the old town. We just finished renovating it and are over the moon with the result. We are sure you will love your stay in our spacious old town apartment located right in the old town in proximity of everything. You will be happy to know the main parking area is just a 5 minutes walk from the apt. The fish and farmer's market are right in front while the main square is just 100m away. The location is just perfect.
