I have lived, worked and played in Scottsdale 25 years... And this condo is my home. I have enjoyed some of the best years of my life here! My condo is in Old Town near Main and Marshall Way Arts District. My neighborhood is nestled in historic Scottsdale's Garden Apartment District established in 1958 as “Scottsdale Resort Center"... The neighborhood is steeped in Old West midcentury charm, next to iconic Hotel Valley Ho— a national and local historic landmark and hidden hideaway of Hollywood elite since 1956. The condo's location is the #1 thing guests love! It’s a block from the Scottsdale Trolley route and walkable to the heart of Old Town with lots of things to do and see. What guests love about it: 1) Location, location, location! It’s quiet but close to the action. 2) Squeaky-clean housekeeping and OCD-style attention to detail 4) My quick response time and “I’m not happy unless your happy” approach to guest service. 5) Fully-stocked essentials for kitchen, laundry, bed, bath, pool, personal care. 6) 117 five-star guest reviews and earning elite Plus Superhost status for 17 consecutive quarters. My place is best suited for urban-minded modern minimalists who prefer a simple, clutter-free, clean, efficient space with a straight forward floor plan like a hotel suite. It features a comfortable modern interior with exterior Midcentury architectural charm. You can Lyft or Uber or ride a scooter or bike to hipster cyber-coffee houses, swank cafés, resorts, nightclubs, sports bars, restaurants, hiking/biking trails, golf courses, spas, spring training Major League Baseball, luxury and boutique shopping, natural attractions and sightseeing galore. The neighborhood has a great Bike and Scooter Score of 85 and a comfortable, easy Walk Score and Sound Score of 75. The location is centrally located. It’s close to arterial freeways that connect to Mesa, Phoenix, Tempe (ASU Campus) and North Scottsdale/Carefree/Cave, Glendale. The condo is mere minutes from the epicenter of Old Town’s sizzling social scene replete with unexcelled dining, hipster coffee houses and cyber cafés, art galleries and western museums, Southwest and Native American gift shops and novelty shops, San Francisco Giants Scottsdale Stadium, designer fashion boutiques, Fashion Square Mall, 5-star resorts and spas, biking and walking paths, hiking trails, Art Walk Thursdays, Scottsdale Artist’s School, Downtown Scottsdale Entertainment District, historic Main Street, Fifth Avenue, Scottsdale Civic Center for the Arts, Camelback Mountain and Scottsdale Waterfront and Arizona Canal. About me: I'm typically not in town when my guests are. If I’m in town when you are, I welcome getting acquainted ONLY IF YOU WANT TO but I always respect your privacy and never intrude! I have an entrepreneurial spirit... Some would say I'm a risk taker who leaps with the faith the net will appear. I listen to my gut; I follow my heart. I don’t regret anything that once made me smile. I think there is a lot of truth to the saying: Let go or be dragged. I’m passionate about civil rights, social-justice, equality, diversity, acceptance, tolerance.... Love equally :). I’m an animal lover and animal rights advocate, a portrait artist. I am bonkers about my photography hobby and I love listening to music. One thing I'm not: A cook! The best thing I make are reservations! ;) Oh! And another thing I'm not: An early bird! :) My ideal vacation destination is a tropical island somewhere fabulous like Maldives, Bali, Fiji, Thailand, Bora Bora, Bali....When I'm on vacation I revel in not making plans...zero itinerary! Letting things unfold naturally and organically is vacation to me! I am very proud of two things I've accomplished in my four years with Airbnb: Earning the distinguished status of Superhost 17 consecutive quarters since joining in February, 2016. And, being one of the first hosts in Arizona to be invited into Airbnb Plus, back when it was in the beta stage in 2018. Both of these distinctions are a result of consistently achieving and maintaining exceptional hospitality, property management and housekeeping standards and maintaining an average 4.8 or higher rating.
