Your very own, lovely little cottage on a quiet block in the City of Driggs. Great kitchen with everything you need and decorated with local art!
Sorry, no pets...

Der Wohnraum

Lovely in-town cottage in Driggs, close to everything, bicycles available, nearby to Glassblowers studio where you are welcome to tour and watch us work.
Your own cozy, very clean and quiet cottage with lots of beautiful details, 2 blocks from the Targhee shuttle stop. Gorgeous, artist-designed bathroom with jetted tub, and large well-stocked kitchen make this very livable for short visits or longer stays.
There is a TV with Roku player for watching movies or TV, and an ipod dock/stereo.
We don't provide breakfast because we have such good cafes and restaurants just a few blocks away, but you can bring and cook your own, and there is a coffeemaker for your own coffee.
Please check our reviews, that says it all!

Thank you so much for the lovely stay. We really enjoyed ourselves! Michael and I were able to make a nice dinner, go on some beautiful short hikes and drives right outside of town, and really take in the full experience on the "quiet side of the Tetons." We would definitely stay again.

This is a very special place to stay. The place is beautiful. Getting the opportunity to check out the glass studio is wonderful. Ralph was willing to share his time with us describing their glass techniques as well as tips about the area.

This is a charming, immaculate cottage and a perfect setting for rest, reflection, adventure and creativity. We appreciated the furnishings, art, well-stocked kitchen, the light from the windows, comfy bed and linens, the nice bath, the pathway to our little haven, the quiet neighborhood, and the scenery of all the surrounding mountains. Its proximity to so many activities and nearby destinations make it an ideal base camp. Ralph is an accommodating, delightful host who greeted us upon arrival, and we hope to meet Mary next time. Driggs is a fun little town, and we visited numerous shops, the Teton Geotourism Center, and Forage (excellent bistro). The Teton Valley and Targhee National Forest provided us with great drives and hiking, and of course, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone were as magnificent as ever. In Jackson, we had great meals at Moe's Original BBQ and Cafe Genevieve. We also ate a delicious lunch at Big Hole BBQ in Victor. We thoroughly enjoyed the history museums in Jackson. One of the highlights of our week was learning from Ralph a bit about the art of glassblowing and seeing his and Mary's phenomenal work in their Heron Glass studio. Such a beautiful place to spend a week!

The perfect location between Grand Targee and Jackson Hole AND Pendl's Bakery and Coffee Shop in Driggs (we walked into town for coffee everyday). A well appointed, comfortable and private base camp for our hiking and climbing excursions in the Tetons. We're already working on a return trip for next year.

I certainly do not want to place blame on Ralph and Mary for the issues I encountered during my stay, as I believe they are very situational and I do actually feel a bit guilty even mentioning these things but they are the reason why I had a very unsettling experience overall. I never got to meet them as this was a short one night stay as part of a solo road trip (which was amazing by the way)! My only communication was with Ralph and he was extremely kind and helpful! He sent me detailed and very accurate directions, answered all my questions within minutes of me asking them, and even provided me with recommendations for where to eat, what to see, and what roads to take in Yellowstone. I am very grateful for this. At the time he knew he would not be meeting me, but said Mary would be here. About 2 days prior to my stay I got a message from Ralph that actually they both would be gone during my stay. I suppose not being greeted/shown in wouldn't have mattered if I got there before it was dark and/or if I had a traveling companion. But unfortunately I already knew that I would be by myself and that it would be dark. Forage restaurant (recommended by Ralph) was so delicious and very close to the house. Getting to the house was quite straight forward with the detailed directions provided by Ralph (even for the directionally challenged like me!). It was about 8:30pm when I got there. I just was so scared to enter the home because it was dark and the pathway I needed to walk on behind their house is not well lit. It was, however, comforting to be able to see the neighbors inside their homes on either side. I was a bit nervous to get out of the car because a skunk was immediately in front of my car and I feared being sprayed. I spent 20-30 min sitting and waiting, flashing my lights, and even beeped a couple times- and eventually he went away. The dark unfamiliar pathway still made me nervous about potential animals that may be lurking nearby (and whether or not the house visible from the parking area of the driveway which was about 25 yards away was the cottage). It took me an additional 10 minutes to muster up the courage to get out, and i kept a friend on the phone for moral support as I used my phone flashlight to see a bit better until I reached the cottage where the motion sensor light came on. I think if I could see that it was just a short pathway, and only a short distance away rather than as far as I anticipated, then I wouldn't have been so worried and hesitant. Door was unlocked and keys were left on the counter inside. It was very clean and cozy and I immediately felt a million times...
