I'm really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay! The reason that the tub hand shower sprayed the wall was that the mixing valve was in shower mode--you had to turn the diverter knob to change it back to tub mode. Thanks for the feedback, and I will add that note to our guest manual for future guests. :-)
Jay's house was nicer inside than I expected from the photos. It's very convenient to Callaway Gardens and is a good value. The bath room is the best room, with a large whirlpool tub, a unique sink, and a large shower with two shower heads. There were a few problems, though. The…

Through this experience, I have learned that you cannot please everyone, all of the time, not matter what you do, and no matter how much you work at it. There will always be some guest out there that is examining everything you offer under a microscope, and seems to enjoy finding problems and calling you frequently about them. And, you may try to make them happy by resending your housekeeper to address perceived issues, but they still find fault, and make me regret renting to them in the first place. That was this guest. And yes, we had the combined misfortune of a recent lightning storm killing the HD input on the TV. Sometimes equipment failures happen at inopportune times, and we have to make the best of the situation because there isn't sufficient time to make a repair. I was glad that we could get the TV working through a standard def input, and while not ideal, I wouldn't consider DVD quality "nearly unwatchable". If only this guest was as understanding about the TV situation as I was about the dent he left in my bedroom wall. Our goal is to deliver a comfortable and clean cabin to every guest that visits, and we have a proven track record of delivering that. We wash and replace the sheets and towels, and sanitize both the kitchen and bathroom after every guest. And if something is wrong, we more than happy to address it promptly, and we do. As an owner, I stay at this house part of the year, and I experience what each of my guests experience. If my house was as unclean as described, then I would also have issues with it myself, and I would be getting far more bad reviews than I have been.
