Die Unterkunft
PLEASE NOTE that these are two rooms with one shared bathroom inside of a Bed & Breakfast property - not the entire property.

Coral's Edge is St Croix's newest adults-only Northshore Destination Bed & Breakfast (see all amenities at the CoralsEdgeSTX site).

Let your CoralKeepers Julie & Adams Hayne indulge you during your stay on St Croix! Gourmet breakfasts each morning by your own private chef paired with a Mimosa of the Day. The SeaTurtle seaside room has a King luxury mattress plus sliding glass doors to the Sea and the pool, and is directly connected to the bathroom. The Map Room (with a seaview through a side window) has a King luxury mattress plus an oversized and very comfortable, thick cushioned futon for a 5th guest and is connected to the bathroom via a short private hallway. Please note that the Map Room is NOT seaside and does NOT have direct access to the pool or the Sea. (For two seaside rooms, each with their own private bath, please either see our CoralsEdgeSTX site or check availability for the listing "Coral's Edge B&B Northshore Seaside Luxury 2BR/2BA.")

You are just a stair step away from the water and a secluded beach spot, although most guests prefer to go less than 1/2 mile to Northshore's famous Cane Bay for a relaxing day on the beach. Let us pack your coolers with beverages and food for a day on one of St Croix's amazing beaches. Want to do some on- or off-shore fishing? We can schedule your trip AND cook your catch afterwards!

Here to scuba dive? You can rinse and store your gear in our secure Dive Room, enjoy an outdoor shower and then head upstairs for a cocktail on the Edge! Our scuba-certification pool is also available for those in your party wanting to partner with our local dive shops right here at Coral's Edge! (Discounts available for staying at Coral's Edge)

Both rooms have a small refrigerator we can stock for you pre-arrival, or we can direct you to the local grocer to pick out your own necessities! And you can always count on the Coral's Edge Bar to keep you covered. You can also schedule a VIP wine pairing dinner for your group that allows you to enjoy and indulge without have to drive anywhere.

Among the Coral's Edge amenities you'll find on the CoralsEdgeSTX website are:
- Gourmet Breakfast & Mimosas every morning
- Luxury bed linens and quilts
- Fluffy bath and beach towels
- Private Bath with glass-block enclosed private shower

Hier wirst du sein

Kingshill, St. Croix, Amerikanische Jungferninseln

Coral's Edge Bed & Breakfast is centrally located on St Croix’s gorgeous Northshore near world-famous Cane Bay. Just to our East is downtown Christiansted with the harborside Boardwalk, charming restaurants and bars (with a growing foodie-footprint), art galleries, live music, festivals and the bright yellow Danish historical site of Fort Christiansvaern. Downtown Christiansted is also one of several departure points for the numerous sailing, scuba, snorkle and deep sea fishing charters available on the island, including the trip to unbelievably beautiful Buck Island, now a U.S. National Monument to ensure the preservation of the underwater trail and gorgeous sea life found there! And you can head further east (with you guessed it, more beaches!) to find the hiking trails to Isaac Bay as well as the Point Udall Millennium Monument marking the easternmost point of any U.S. territory, where you can sip a breakfast mimosa as the sun rises on January 1st, and be the first to watch the New Year dawn on American soil!

And to our West you’ll head over St Croix’s lush rain forest to Frederiksted, where you can snorkle or dive the pier, and enjoy one of their gorgeous white sandy beaches, including the Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge, a preserves habitat where three (3) out of seven (7) species of endangered sea turtles nest on our shores in the summer and early fall: Leatherback, Green Sea Turtles and Hawksbills (plus even a Loggerhead visit from time to time!). As you leave the West you can stop by the St. George Village Botanical Gardens (home of the Mango Melee) that occupies an old sugar plantation (one of 200 plantations that were on island when ‘sugar was king’). St Croix was known as ‘The Garden of the West Indies,’ and serving as testament to the island’s history and heritage, 115 of 150 picturesque sugar mills can still be found standing across the island, one of which graces your Coral’s Edge Sunrise every morning!

Closer to home, you’ll find in the immediate Northshore area our beautiful beaches, a variety of fantastic restaurants with live music and weekly events, hiking trails, scuba diving, snorkeling and more. You can enjoy the tide pools on the Northwesternmost tip, or head in the other direction towards the Salt River Bay National Park and Ecological Preserve to experience one of the Caribbean’s rare bioluminescent bays that Christopher Columbus visited in 1493 while leading an expedition. Grab a kayak and witness these “living lights!”

Regardless of where you are on St Croix, you will feel the spirit of the island flow through you, the sounds of the Sea calm you, and the heart of the people envelope you. We look forward to sharing St Croix with you soon while Living on Coral’s Edge!

Julie & Adams Hayne met before their first memory in Columbia, South Carolina, ultimately sharing school hallways and high school memories until life took them in different directions. Julie headed to Clemson University and later the University of South Carolina to obtain her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting, ultimately obtaining her credentials as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Healthcare Financial Planner (CHFP), launching a successful career in healthcare finance and leadership. Simultaneously Adams joined the U.S. Marine Corp, serving in both the White House Presidential Honor Guard (just as his father did before him) as well as overseas in a Marine Expeditionary Unit. Adams subsequently came to appreciate his passion for food (“food picked him,” not the other way around!) and he used his GI Bill to attend Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina to obtain his Bachelors in Food Service Management and his Associate in Culinary Arts. Fast forward through life’s curvy line to Christmas 2009 when the “ah ha” moment happened (ask each of them the story and you’ll get some divergently comical perspectives), and a new starting line on the path of life began. Over the course of the next decade they came to appreciate that Julie is “the logistics” and Adams is “the creative,” and began learning and loving together along the way, finding unique B&Bs and culinary experiences from St Augustine to St John, Montreal to Breckenridge, Asheville to New Orleans, and Pamplona to Paris (to name a few). And in every heart-tugging movie there’s hardships to overcome, which in 2017 led to the sell of their Lake Murray home, followed shortly thereafter by their vehicles and the vast majority of their possessions. They took a 3 month leave of absence from their careers and their families, grabbed two backpacks and a flight to Europe, and began walking the Camino de Santiago from St Jean Pied de Port France to Santiago de Compostela Spain. Why you ask? They weren’t really sure what this “spiritual piligrimage” was supposed to impart to them before they went – they just had to go. They ultimately followed the yellow Camino arrows and walked over 600 miles, extra paths included (some intentional and some accidental) to find “their Way.” What did they learn? Well – they’ll have to tell you that. But afterwards, they spontaneously hitched a ride to southern Portugal to decompress, followed by a plane ride to the Caribbean. While the U.S. Virgin Islands was a place they’d visited years prior, they’d never visited St Croix – and it took just one day “to know.” This was the place where they would be positive, be present in the moment, and share joy. Where they would steadfastly pursue “the three H’s” – humanity, humility and humor. And in keeping with their heart’s passion, their talents and their journey, Coral’s Edge is a traditional Bed & Breakfast where they can share their passions for food, wine, laughter, music and island living. Come enjoy Living on Coral’s Edge with Jules & Adams! Buen Camino (Have a Good Way!)
