Die Unterkunft
There is a room with a double bed and a river view, or a single room with a very comfy bed and a beautiful treed view. This second bed is on a landing with curtains, window, lamp and wifi, rather than a door. Each reservation is $89, which includes both beds and breakfast for one of porridge or eggs or cereal, fruit smoothie and tea or coffee. If traveling with a friend pleas add $7 for the second and each additional breakfast. So three people is $89 plus $14.
You are welcome to stay as B&B guests or stay longer and share the kitchen with me. If you would like to explore life in the country for a while, float on a river, or sit by a fire, and would be happiest renting a room in a relaxed, country home atmosphere, then this may be just right for you.
The old century farmhouse is on two acres along the stunning Bonnechere River within walking distance of the town of Eganville. Three different verandas are available in which to read, relax or meditate. There are places to be private as well as opportunities to be as involved with others as you wish.
Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, massage, Bowen, energy work available. Great hiking and skiing nearby.
Living-style is see to your own needs eg make your own food and or take turns with dinner and clean out the tub when your done.
There is a washer and dryer and an even better clothes line.
Please no smoking inside, or pets. (EMAIL HIDDEN)

Eganville is a little town on the beautiful Bonne here River with restaurants and caves. This home is on the river, where it is wild...beaver lodges and lits of birds. Well located for heading into or out from Algonquin Park, and wanting a rest before heading to or from s city. Especially ideal if heading into Barron canyon - or High Falls at the north east entrance. Canoe Rentals available at that entrance.

I am the co-owner of the Algonquin Tea Company, a wild and organic herbal tea company, based in the Upper Ottawa Valley. Since 1995, I have been writing a monthly column called Sacred Journeys for Vitality Magazine in Toronto. , in which I explore the profound meaningfulness of everyday life. I have also coordinated lecture series in healthy living in Toronto, and co-facilitated workshops in a variety of topics that explore self-discovery. More recently, I have become a certified Bowen practitioner and have been trained in Reiki, Reflexology and Therapeutic Touch. I received a masters from the University of Guelph studying anthropology and specifically the Collective Social Imagination. I was always drawn to views other than my own, as they increased the picture of the world I carried and made my life larger as a result. “The Universe is made of stories, not atoms.” —Muriel Rukeyser
