Just over two hours drive from Sydney or Canberra is Lothlorien, a secluded five acre property nestled below Black Ash Nature Reserve on Berry Mountain. The villages of Berry and Kangaroo Valley are just ten minutes drive away, the beaches 20. The self-contained timber Yurt offers an unpretentious hideaway for two. Tucked in to the edge of the rainforest and set in a small orchard this sunny north-facing Mongolian-style Yurt is regularly visited by wombats, parrots, bowerbirds and lyrebirds

Die Unterkunft
The Yurt is a nonsmoking environment and contains a bed-sitting room (Queen-sized bed) and attached ensuite. The Yurt offers a fridge, microwave, TV DVD and CD players, crockery and cutlery. A healthy continental breakfast is included.

Due to the COVID situation and our wish to provide you with a thoroughly clean and safe environment we are currently only accepting weekend bookings (Fri & Sat nights).
Should the situation improve we will reinstigate weeknight bookings. If you wish to book a longer stay over the Christmas holiday period please contact us and we may be able to accommodate you. Thank you for understanding.

We are a retired couple, Noreen and Bob. We have traveled extensively but are slowing down now! We prefer unpretentious accommodation and out of the way places. Noreen is a textile fan and Bob is a bird watcher! We live on five acres in a quiet rural area close to temperate rain forest ten minutes to the beaches. Wombats really are the bosses here and we get on well with them!
