Brand-new (2019) apartment in hip and bustling Libération You can walk in 10 minutes to the heart of Liberation with its specialty food shops and market, wine cellars and restaurants. Or have a glass of wine on the balcony and enjoy the city and ocean view. For easy access to the beach take bus 8 or 11 and it will take you there in 5 minutes.

Welcome to my home away from home.

The appartement is on the top (2nd) floor of a new modern building, Villa du Parc. It is a quiet building (only 17 apartments) with an elevator located in a nice residential area. The apartment has never been inhabited since april 2019.

It has one bedroom (with airco) equipped with a king size bed, some drawers and a work space. The bathroom has a large shower and a sink with 2 drawers to leave all your toiletries. A hairdryer is available.

The kitchen is fully equiped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, washing machine, a two plate stove and a Nespresso machine. You will find all the equipment (pots, pans, dishes, glasses, cutlery) you need.

The living (with airco) has a very comfortable couch, 49” smart TV (with French cable, Chromecast, Netflix subscription and Sonos beam) and a large dining table. The living room has a large wardrobe to leave your clothes and where you will find domestic appliances (vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board). High speed internet is available. Hue lights are installed in the whole apartment so you can set your own atmosphere.

From the living room there are 2 sliding doors (2m each) which open up to a beautiful, large and quiet balcony (11 m2). There you will find a lounge set and dining set (4 pers) which allows you to enjoy the city and ocean view. The balcony has morning sun until after lunch, which means it’s never too warm to enjoy the balcony.

Bed linen and towels (including beach towels) are provided as well as coffee, tea, shampoo for the first day. As I live there myself the wardrobe in the bedroom and some drawers are locked because they contain my personal belongings.

The apartment is located on the border of Parc Imperial (a quiet residential area) and Liberation (hip and bustling neighborhood).

The Libération market runs along Avenue Malausséna and is a favourite with local residents as it offers one of the best selections of in-season products in Nice. Every day until lunchtime (except Monday) over 120 stalls selling fruit and vegetables, fish and seafood, honey, pastries, charcuterie and delicatessen products and products from local producers. Entire alleys are given over to organic, or ‘bio’, produce. Prices are far cheaper than the Cours Saleya market.

Besides the markets you should check out the Cite Marchande Docks de la Riviera. One of Nice's most traditional covered markets is this local-focused indoor affair in a brick building near the heart of Libération. Meat, fish, cheese and charcuterie are all on offer at the two-dozen stalls.

There is a small grocery store just about 300 meters from the apartment where you can buy everything you need to make it through the day.

Beach : 20 minutes walking or 5 minutes by bus 8 or 11 leaving boulevard Gambetta.
Public pool: 5 minutes walking from the apartment.
