I wish to clarify a few false statements made in this review, which I hope will help future guests.
There is only a cold water tap in the kitchen stone sink, however there is hot water in the wetroom shower and sink tap. There is a switch for the boiler and it takes 30 minutes to heat the water. The wetroom is small but perfectly adequate for use.
There is no building site or noise pollution adjacent to the property, only the relaxing sound of the sea. Across from the cottage there is an empty site where the remains of an old stone building stand, as well as two fig trees and wild grasses.
The bathroom window was removed for the summer months and replaced by thin wire mesh so as to prevent the windows rattling in the wind and allow for air circulation.
The cottage is cleaned to a high standard before guests arrive and it is expected they will maintain these standards during their stay as no cleaning service is provided on a daily basis.
The cottage provides all cutlery, utensils, crockery, glassware, pots and pans most commonly required.
The kitchen sink is traditional Greek cottage style with cement base and ceramic tile surround. A plastic basin is provided if guests require hot water to wash kitchenware.
Wi-Fi is available if guests require, however the cottage is as described in the listing without Wi-Fi box or TV.
This is a beautifully simple fisherman's cottage only steps from the sea. It's traditional simplicity is it's charm, as many guests have found. Sitting under the shade of the tree outside the cottage overlooking the sea is such a delightfully relaxing spot.
