Do not allow this person to book or stay at your home/property.
Their review is untrue and fabricated to justify their attempy to scam money our of hosts.
This guest changed details of who was staying a number of times prior to their stay meaning that eventually the verified guest who booked did not stay and her sister used the property with her family instead. This particular guest stayed for 2 nights of the 3 that had originally been booked. They were communicated with at every given opportunity and were contacted when they first arrived to ensure they were settled and had been able to check in ok. No problems were communicated back to us.
The particular guest decided to leave on the third day following a two night stay at my property then request a full refund stating she had decided to leave early because she was unhappy with the stay.
This guest is not truthful and will try and scam money out of you with the intention of having a free holiday it would appear.
There was unfortunately an unexpected issue with the hot water in the kitchen (due to emersion heater there was plenty of hot water for showering) and when this was communicated by Katie, Carley's sister, we tried to address this asap by arranging for an engineer to attend the home but was told not to do this as they were out and wouldn't be available. It is not true that Katie commuicated the hot water issues upon arrival as stated in their review, this text message came through on the saturday morning following one night stay.
Katie then decided to leave based on this fact as well as a number of fabricated and untruthful claims about the cleanliness of the property and the quality of the chalet. The chalet is also cleaned regularly and was cleaned prior to their stay meaning claims of it being unclean are also not true and a true reflection of the property.
The guests are more than welcome to have an opinion on my ability to manage my property however my corresponence wasnt delayed or inappropriate and was in fact factual and unwilling to accomodate their lies and games to try and scam money out of innocent Airbnb hosts.
Following their stay the chalet took 4 hours to clean, old food was left in bowls, wet towels left on carpeted floor in bedroom, food and debry was left for us to clean ourselves and worst of all the dog had been allowed to urinate in the property. This had been hidden by guests by putting a settee both directly above and in front of this mess. We cannot help but think this guest choose to be extremely disrespectful of someone else's holiday home and acted in a disgusting and unacceptable manner. Her messages became quite threatening and I had no choice but to report her to the website for slander and being aggressive/abusive in her tone and manner.
Do not allow this person to stay at your home. It will not be treated with respect. We are quite frankly relieved they dont plan on returning as this will avoid any possibility of us having to decline their request to stay.
They should not be allowed to operate via Airbnb for the purpose of security and potential for your property to be mistreated.
