Warning to other hosts about this guest! I am a Super Host and have never had to write a negative review of this kind. I feel it is my duty, however, to warn other hosts about the nightmare situation I had with Aubrey.
After being extremely disrespectful on a personal level while being checked in, Aubrey then proceeded to an incredibly disrespectful guest during her stay. Aubrey tried to scam the system by claiming that she had cancelled her trip not because of parking as stated in the review but because she trapped what her and a friend described as a cockroach under a glass. I wish I could attach an image to this response, since what was trapped under the glass was unequivocally and indisputably a housefly (images of the housefly under the glass were sent to Airbnb support, and I was advised that a full refund was not necessary after they spoke with this guest).
Aubrey stayed the duration of a multi-day trip in my home, used towels, linens, toilet paper, and complimentary shampoo/conditioner, soap, and toothbrushes that I provide to all of my guests. Aubrey left my home a complete mess. Aubrey then proceeded to demand a full refund by swearing and using threats. I am so grateful for the Airbnb support I received to help me handle this situation and person who was disrespectful to me and my home. The time consuming nature and emotional tole of being sworn at and threatened by a guest like this is just not worth it. Again, I have never had an experience like this before and feel that I must warn other hosts about this guest - and hope potential guests will read beyond to all of the other great reviews.
I regret having to write a response of this nature, but my horrible experience with this guest leaves me no choice. Last and least important note: The reservation was for 3 nights not 5 as stated in the review.
