Well, this is the truth of the matter. You don't seem to recall sending multiple requests for an early check-in, (recorded by e-mails) even though you made a last minute booking. No self check-in is listed, and as I told you I like to welcome my guests. As for the WiFi not working, we had a Japanese friend who was able to use the same details as you were given on the day of your arrival in writing, and had no trouble contacting family in Japan as well as using the Wi-Fi. As for the TV, it was checked including the remote batteries, as is normal practice and working perfectly before your arrival. Now not working. The induction cooker was working before your arrival, which you know, as you used it, and ruined the stainless steel frypan. Now the cooker also does not work. Many Thanks for that. Within two mins of your stay you were complaining about the room being Stuffy. As there is ventilation on three sides of the Studio, the Main Glass private entry door with screen is 2.2metres high x 1.4meters wide, plus two large banks of louvers, one bank of three on each of the other walls, the one over the bed is frosted and all windows have block out curtains. I find it hard to believe with the ceiling fan that you could possibly call the room stuffy and not private. Amazing that after saying how stuffy it was, that one of you put on a long sleeved fluffy bathrobe, supplied and stuffed it back on the shelf. The extremely tiny bedroom you complained about measures 3.7 meters x 3.7 meters without the ensuite, not too tiny I think. Tell me how many bedrooms do you know have an ensuite several meters from the bed? You complained about the distance from the Studio to the brick house being 2 meters, which is actually 3.5 meters, and another 4.5 meters to the garage which is fronting the road which is a cul-de-sac, no through traffic noise, giving more peace and quiet to the Studio The private deck for guests use is 4.5 meters x 3.5meters with deck chairs and a table to sit at. Unless my guests ask to join us on the house deck for a sundowner, not the Studio deck we don't use it during their stay, which happened even though we had guests ourselves. There is a ceiling fan in the room, which is listed, therefore there is no reason for complaining about not having air-conditioning (not listed). You also complained about the location not being on the beach and shop side of Suffolk. As you said you used to live here in Suffolk, I would have thought you would have known the location. The profile listing states it is a short drive or even a walk for someone as able bodied as you were. You made no attempt to contact us in regard to the TV not working or the Wi-Fi, also you didn't mention that you broke a glass, hidden behind the water jug in the frig, left a large stain 1/2 meter round on the carpet, large stain on the white doona cover and tried to cover it up by putting the bed runner over it, taking, for who knows what reason the Glen20 disinfectant spray. I can only guess to spray your smelly camping gear. Also a pack of playing cards for the convenience of other guests. One white bath towel was covered with thick dark chocolate. Dirty dishes. Complained about common areas needing attention. Seeing there is a huge Poinciana tree covering the Studio, deck and garage, there are small leaves that do drop when the seasons change. This tree is well pruned so no branches touch the roof, trimmed regularly and the deck is always swept within an inch of it's life before guests are due. You complained about the value. I find this amazing, as we have not only never had any complaints regarding extremely poor value for money, we even had one couple say that we should be charging more for what is on offer. Not one complaint EVER about lack of privacy only positives. Did you even look at the many photos from all angles. They weren't taken with any fancy cameras, only a mobile phone and clearly show the size of the Studio from the outside, the ventilation on three sides and the interior. For someone who stayed for 2 days, you seemed to do a lot of complaining on-line and not a word to us, face to face. Maybe that says something about your character. I have also not recommended you to any future hosts. I would not want them to experience someone who just loves complaining and leaving the Studio in the state it was. I have been terribly offended by your hidden and some open comments. I know I will be safe from you ever wanting to book here again, for which I am truly grateful.
