Please review all Maine Covid 19 travel restrictions before booking as it is your individual decision to determine if you qualify. If you plan to be self-sufficient, the place is perfect for that.

Lakefront cabin bordering Acadia National Park. Studio (1 single large room house with loft) with a king bed loft (swing-down ladder loft access), queen convertible couch, and a single fold-out twin convertible bed. **Bring Your own sheets, blankets, pillows, towels and paper products**. Separate small bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet.

Gorgeous lake views, cathedral ceiling, fire pit, large private deck with charcoal BBQ grill and sunsets directly across the lake. Loons and other wildlife abound. The park does not allow high speed boats or jet skis on the lake, so it is very slow and pleasant. Private use of dock, canoe, kayak, and large off-shore lake float for swimming. WIFI (speed is 10 megabit download and 1 Meg upload).

Close to Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor, located on Echo Lake. Conveniently located on Rt. 102/Main Street, about 30 steps down off the road overlooking the lake, very private with roadside parking. You can hear the road. From the deck, there are 30 steps of uneven rocks that go down to the water, not conducive for people who have a hard time navigating stairs without railings.

Electricity, hot running water, normal plumbing, coffee machine, renovated kitchen with granite tops and 2-burner cook-top and toaster oven. Drinking water and water dispenser are provided. Bathroom with hot shower, flush toilet and rustic hot outdoor shower deck with warm water hook up in the woods.

Beaches, bluffs, hiking, biking, carriage trails, lakes, lobsters, and coastline all within minutes. Wood Fireplace for ambiance. Modern wall-mounted air conditioner and heating unit.

Please, WITH PEACE AND LOVE, PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS BRING YOUR OWN (Pillows, Blankets, Sheets, pillow cases, towels, dish towels, paper products, etc).

YOU WILL BE IN A NATIONAL PARK, PLEASE LEAVE NO TRACE. PLEASE CONSERVE WATER, IT COMES FROM THE LAKE. PLEASE PACK OUT ANY LEFTOVER GARBAGE THERE IS NO GARBAGE REMOVAL AND PLEASE DO DISHES BEFORE DEPARTING DUE TO COVID PROTOCOL AND THE PERSISTENT PARK ANIMALS. THIS IS A RUSTIC CAMPING CABIN (cleaned and disinfectant wiped down, but not white glove spotless). The cleaning lady does a sanitizing wipe down, but this place is NOT for the meticulously clean looking for a spotless hypoallergenic white glove hotel room experience. It is a rustic camp in the woods.

This is a "bring your own" pillows, blankets, linens, sheets, towels, paper products, soaps, and dish towels arrangement as there is no laundry machine in the house (bring king bed, queen fold out couch, and/or single fold out sheets.

Dishes, pots, pans, silverware and cooking utensils are provided. Please do all dirty dishes before departing and take all garbage and food with you due Park animals. There is a dump in town for drop off.

Lage

Mount Desert, Maine, Vereinigte Staaten

On a pristine deep fresh water lake (the park does not allow speed boats or jet skis so there are no boats buzzing or water ski waves), among the trees, bordering Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island, which is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. Neighbors include Loons, Ducks, Turtles, Fish, Squirrels and a very nice human couple to the north. Located on the road south to Southwest Harbor. Also close to Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Seal Harbor, and Bass Harbor. All quaint little fishing and lobstering villages. No high speed boats or jet skis are allowed on the lake so it is very nice and the deck very private. You are within earshot of the road.

Our extended family of siblings and kids, hope you enjoy it and get to experience all the wonders of Maine and Acadia National Park. It was originally owned by our parents and we love to share it with guests.
Während deines Aufenthaltes
Open communication via email before the visit and on-call if you need anything. The host is not on site (we live out of state). Please note with Peace and Love, that this is a rustic (not white glove spotless) setting with a camping feel and small footprint philosophy in Acadia National Park, it is "bring your own pillows, blankets, towels, dish towels, paper products". This is a camping cabin. Please pack out what you pack in and leave the place as you find it ("please leave no trace"). Please clean out anything you brought and pack out any left-over garbage due to the wild location and potential for animals getting into the garbage. With Peace and Love, Peace and Love.
